We usually get Nike open toe sandals every year for my sons,. This year we tried the closed toe Nikes. They look better. My sons say their comfortable as well. The fit is spot on. If there were more colors to choose from than just black & red, I would've given 5 stars.

Good sandal, super comfy. I like that they have toe protection for bike riding and running around the playground. My son likes that he can wear these in the water or on land. He also likes that it's a soft upper -- most boy sandals are big clunky leather affairs. Only complaint is that the back tends to slip off his heel occasionally when running. Wish it was a tad bit higher back there.

These are cute and comfortable sandals. I bought the 10½ for my four year old and the Velcro strap barley made it over the top of his foot to connect on the other side. They did stay connected, though, and he loved them. They worked great for the beach and are easy to rinse and dry out.

I bought these for my 5 year old son. I love them. I usually buy size 11 in gym shoes but got these in a 10.5 so I could be sure they wouldn't slip off if he got them wet. He did get them wet in the sprinkler and they stayed on and also dried out perfectly. I'm not sure they'd stay on in a pool though, the Velcro may not hold up. I got them so he could wear lighter shoes to daycare that were safe for play and running and protect his feet. I'd say they're a good buy but not intended for water shoes , but may hold up just fine splashing around in water. I always buy Nike sandals for my son and they have always held up nicely.

I bought this shoe for my son to wear on vacation as a watershoe. He's a little flat footed so it wasn't very confortable for him. The shoe is a little narrow and has higher arch than he's use to. Felt ture to size.

These sandals are my kids go-to spring/summer shoe. My son has a wide, flat foot and I was concerned how narrow they looked but they fit beautifully and cause no discomfort. My daughter has Aspergers Syndrome and hates most shoes. With the covered toe, she can wear these even for PE class. I only wish there were more color choices available.

Nice water shoe, but they come off too easily. The velcro on these shoes is not strong enough. Also, I think they would a better fit for a more narrow foot.

My issue with these shoes are probably more my fault than with the shoe itself. I was looking for a durable, waterproof summer sandal, that were lighter weight and more flexible than Keen's waterproof sandal. I thought I had found them in these shoes. However, they have not held up to my kids' energetic lifestyle. These have been our outdoor play shoes, and each child's pair are near the end of their life span after one month. My son's pair has a hole in the top fabric part and my daughter's rubber toe is tearing away. The description says it's more of a pool shoe. I guess instead of wearing flip flops to the pool, you could wear these. They are stylish looking and have been comfortable. Just know they won't hold up to playing in them.

These shoes are lightweight and fast drying...seem to be a little narrow though as the velcro strap barely makes its connection.

My 4 year-old likes these only up to a point. Since he is sensitive to having sand in his shoes these are best worn when near a pool and concrete not for playing at the beach, at least for him. Also, the soles are very inflexible, kind of like plastic boards and not soft like our other Nike "Sunray Adjust 4" that we had last year. I bought these hoping for more toe protection and am only mildly satisfied with these. For an all around summer water-shoe these are not perfect as they are not great for general running around but more of a specific-purpose sandal, like for just when we are at the local pool.

I had high hopes for this after reading the reviews, and it looks really good. The sole is so flexible, but my kid complained within seconds that it was very itchy. I guess it is the zigzag seam inside.

At first I loved these shoes and they served the purpose of shoes to and from indoor swimming lessons for my son. However on the first day wearing them, my son slipped and hurt himself pretty badly just walking along the wet tiles that surrounded the pool. After that, I held his hand and he slipped once again, as if he were walking on ice. These shoes had NO TRACTION on wet tiles. Back into the box they went to be returned. Such a shame!

Purchased three sizes for two grandsons with the idea if current size fit we'd have a "grown into backup" later this summer. Wrong, shoe was stylish but that is all! Flimsy, no support, heel too short and slipped off just trying to check shoe on foot. Would estimate our grands would have them worn out within the next week or two. Very disappointed as the style was so perfect.
