I wanted to love this shoe, but I was a bit disappointed. It is comfortable and cool, but lacks style. I just bought the Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove, which I like much better for a casual shoe with a bit of style. I'll wear the Circuit MJ Breeze for dog-walking, but not much else.

I liked that these shoes were breathable, but the holes seemed to catch at my feet a little. I prefer the original Circuit MJ.

I am undecided on these. I love that they are mesh and cool for summer. They are not as substantial/supportive as I expected, and the insole slides around. THe sizing is also odd. They run small. I really want to love them, so I'm going to keep wearing them around the house.

I love the shoe, but the netting has given me blisters on my toes. I thought it was because it was new, but after wearing it for a few weeks, it still bothers my toes.

Felt great putting them on, but after wearing around the house for a test drive, I decided I needed a bit smaller shoe. My foot slipped a bit even with the strap all the way down, and it rubbed my inner foot and back heel...mostly because I think it was a half size too big. Liked the color a lot...looked good with shorts and capris. Returning for a smaller size.

I love Merrell, and this style is a great summer basic. If you have a high instep, the front top will take a while to break in. After that, they're very comfortable. I was a little disappointed that the mesh along the side broke through where the little toe is. Would like to get another pair, but not because of the weak mesh.

Got tired and sweaty feet after a long walk, had to return to Merrell for different type of shoe.

I needed these shoes. I was leaving town in two days and needed a versatile shoe. Sadly, the shoe wasn\'t comfortable. It slipped around as I walked. And the back of the heel was too high, making steps painful. I gave up and wore jogging shoes. It was better than not enjoying the walking parts of the trip. I have seen other Merrells that fit better. Don\'t write them all off just for this one.

I\'m a big fan of Merrell shoes. Unfortunately, this one disappointed me. The mesh irritated the sides of my feet to the point I put felt in the shoe, plus I could have used a narrow. In my case, I wish I\'d sent them back before wearing.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Spain this spring. They were completely comfortable, no pinching nor rubbing. But, the sole was too thin for good protection on the cobblestones and the arch too low for all day walking. My feet were very tired at the end of each day. I'd recommend them highly for everyday use other than on uneven streets. Merrell shoes are always my first choice for travel shoes. Wish these had had more cushioning.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I tried them on and found the material is too rough to wear them without socks. The heel of the shoe also rubs my foot which is irritating. Oh well, I\'ll be returning them. They look nice though and are more slim and feminine looking than I was expecting.

I had a pair of these Merrell Mary Janes from about 3 years ago that I love and have worn out. When I went to order a new pair, I found that they had been redesigned - unfortunately, the redesign resulted in them being too snug and short in the toe. I wear an 11, so no option to go up a size. Too bad, they are a great shoe that is comfy like a sneaker but has a little more style.

This shoe doesn't have much support. The fit is loose and I had to return one pair because they were defective. The sole is thin and bends easily so these shoes wouldn't work for a European trip with lots of walking on cobblestones. I inserted my Superfet insoles and they feel a little bit better but these are just okay for running errands - not serious walking.

I am a U.S. 11. My foot measures 10 and 1/2 “ in length, 3 and 13/16 “ at the widest point, 3 and 7/16 “ at the narrowest point nearer to my ankle. The height between the bottom of my heel and the natural “dip” of my ankle is 3 inches. The top of my foot from the inner arch over to the other side is 6 inches. This shoe is pretty good for what it is: a casual, briefly worn, errands-about-town lifestyle shoe. I wanted a warm weather mesh Mary Jane with good traction for a variety of terrain. Good points: good traction on outsole; streamlined low profile; Mary Jane; enough toe room length and width wise. Bad points: very little arch support (I had to double up TWO stick-on supports to get any); not much outsole between your feet and the street or terrain; too high in back for me so abrades the “dip” of my ankle (required bandaids and stick on heel liners); there won’t be enough Velcro on the strap for people with arches any higher than mine (I have a medium arch and can swing it as long as I don’t put in orthotics). Not bad but not great. Definitely not good for walking long distances.

Wow, what a disappointment. I ordered several pair of this shoe hoping beyond hope ONE would work. Each had something "wrong" -- one pair, the sides didn't match; another had some painful material on the arch; another didn't have enough velcro to close securely. I'm thinking there is a huge quality control issue with this style. Which is most unfortunate. This was the shoe I really wanted to work for an upcoming trip to Europe. Would've been perfect - but not in the cards. Super disappointed.

Such. Disappointment. I have worn this shoe for years and it has long been one of my favorites. I could walk miles in these shoes, worn them with skirts, nicer pants and to the beach.. these shoes have changed with a higher back, giving me a raw ankle. Beware these are not the same shoes!

Not up to what I expect of Merrell. Very flimsy and not much arch support

The size 9 1/2 was too big-- my heel wouldn't stay in the shoe and very wide and not able to fix that with the velcrostrap. this shoe was a perfect fit but too short. Merrell was always my go to shoe but the sizing on these is really weird. So cute but have to return and look elsewhere

I ordered these shoes a second time and I had to send those back as well. There is some sort of defect under the right big toe that is uncomfortable to walk on. I have had 2 pairs of these previously and worn them for years. I am very sorry I can't get a pair that is comfortable. I won't order a 3rd time.

Okay, here we go again. Most shoes nowadays have tiny toe box and wide at the back. This is like all the others. I have ordered so many flat maryjanes from Zappos (because of their great customer service) but for these manufacturers to charge quite amount of money, I expect the fix to be there. So the 8 was too tight in the toe and too wide at the back. The 8 1/2 were exactly the same way. Even the 8 1/2 the toe box was too small. Anyway, I wound up getting a pair of shoes at Kohl that were on sale and fit perfectly. I don't mind spending good money on comfortable shoes, but when they can't even get the fit right, something's not right. So back they go. I still love Zappos but the shoe makers need an education.

I don't know why I found these shoes so uncomfortable when so many others love them, but the first time I wore them for more than 20 minutes they rubbed the tops and sides of my big and little toes raw (I still have the scabs 2 weeks later). I do have feet that are wide across the ball of the foot and have high insteps, so maybe it's a general fit issue. I was really disappointed, because I love the style and color.

Long time Merrell fan, but this shoe was a disappointment. I thought that the mesh upper would give an alternative to sandals, but the insole was not comfortable barefoot. The arch support comes up outside of the insole and it scratches. The inside of the upper is also scratchy. This shoe has decent comfort with socks, but because of the design, this shoe does not look right with any kind of socks.

For the past 2 years Merrell Circuit MJ Breezes have changed: 1. No longer true to size. 2. Quality of support in sole has deteriorated. Sizes are wider and longer than previously. Very disappointed about this decline in quality.

In my opinion this shoe was not very cute at all. I tried it on anyway thinking maybe the comfort would win me over - no such luck. I have bunions and I thought that the mesh on the sides would be soft and flexible but instead it is very hard and rubbed my bunions immediately. Instead I purchased Skechers Gowalk and they are much better for me.
