These were cute and I loved the color but they just didn't fit right on my flat-footed feet. Normally I wear a size Medium, but these shoes were so loose at the top, especially on my right foot, that I couldn't tighten the strap enough--there simply wasn't enough velcro stick um on the shoe to attach the strap to. Adding shoe inserts did improve the fit but I would need to wear socks to keep them from feeling scratchy. However, what is especially nice about these shoes is that they are sturdy enough for light hiking but also have a flexible forefoot (which I feel is important for a healthy gait). For that reason, I've rated them a 5.

I purchased these as a gift for a friend who has troubled feet due to rheumatoid arthritis. She at first didn't think she'd keep them but after trying them decided they were very comfortable and is happy to have them. Zappos is #1 in customer service and product availability - I wish they ran the government.

I have plantar fasciitis and am thrilled to have discovered these! Have ordered in all colors - wear them all day and even walk the dog in them without any pain. Wonderful shoes!

This shoe was worth every penny. Looks good, feels good, and goes with most casual summer outfits. I was extremely satisfied with the product, and as always, with Zappos excellent service.

These shoes are my favorite summer shoes. Last year I bought them in taupe. This year I bought them in gold, black, and peachy orange. Love them. Will buy more colors next year.

I love these shoes! As a NY'er who walks many miles a day, I want a shoe that is light, comfy & breathes. These shoes meet all 3 needs -- I haven't worn another walking shoe since they arrived. No blisters, no callouses, nothing but pure comfort. And Zappos delivered them in less than 24 hours. How do they do that?

These are the perfect summer shoes. This is my second pair and I can't recommend them enough. Plenty of arch support, great for traveling with easy on/off Velcro straps and attractive with shorts or skirt. Love them. I have narrow feet but these still work well.

Very comfortable. Nice tread. I think it would work as a water shoe? The foam foot bed comes out if you need or want to replace it. This shoe wasn't terribly cushy but like a nice sandal without the annoying straps and toe thing. The mesh is very light and cool. A really nice summer sandal.

Love these shoes! I saw them while in DC and wanted them very much because I needed comfortable shoes for all the miles of site-seeing. They didn't have my size so as soon as I returned home I ordered them online and received them in 2 days, I have worn them almost every day! They are so lite but provide much support. Love them.

I love these shoes - bought them from another site in black and found them in taupe at Zappos. They fit well and my feet are nicely ventilated. I walk to and from work every day and these are perfect.

These Merrells are fantastic. They look great and feel amazing. The first time I wore them I walked 2 miles and did not wear socks. I was concerned I may be asking for blisters. It was extremely pleasing to discover my feet weren't irritated at all by the shoes! The shoes are high quality, attractive and versatile. Well worth the money!

I am writing this from a hotel in Florence, Italy. I have worn these shoes every day since I left Savannah, GA for Italy 2 weeks ago and I love them. I have walked every day like you would not believe, and not one blister or problem, while my companions have been going through the bandaids for blisters on their toes and feet. Everyone wants to know where I got them. I did insert an orthopedic pad for additional arch support and that made them perfect. I ordered my size and a half size smaller and a half size larger. I kept the half size smaller. Zappos is the greatest.

Great shoe, does the trick! I bought this shoe to wear in the heat of summer on outings such as Disneyland, where I would be walking all day and wanted a comfortable shoe that breathes. This shoe fits the bill. It is wide so I think people with wide feet will like it. I don't have a wide foot but it fits nicely still. The mesh on the shoe lets in air, I mean really keeps your feet cool, and the arch support is great.

These shoes are super comfy and very light weight. They are my running errands shoes! Also, since they have the open weave they are not hot at all.

These are extremely comfortable shoes! I wear them with jeans, shorts, dresses, and swim suits. They are light weight and cool but substantial enough to wear all day in comfort.

Love these shoes! The perfect sporty, comfortable shoe for summer. Cute with jeans, capris and skirts. No break-in time required. Always wore an 8, but I had to return my 8's for a 7.5. But I had to do that with all the shoes I've ordered from Zappos recently.

Second time purchasing this shoe. Got the deep tan/pink, very neutral and goes with everything. Can't go wrong with Merrell when it comes to comfort and style. I only buy my shoes at Zappos because they are hand's down the best and professional, friendly, and they bend over backwards for their customers. By far, the best in customer service of any company I've ever dealt with.

Very cute and comfortable shoe. I was looking for something that would provide more protection and stability than a flip flop. I wore these out of the box through 4 airports and spent a weekend in them tooling around a beach town. This is a great summer shoe, the mesh keeps your feet cool and they are very comfortable! I am a size 6 and usually can wear any Merrell shoe/sandal out of the box.

These shoes are great for me because I need closed-toed shoes for work, but my building has no air-conditioning. They also have a generously padded insole. Since I had a stress fracture this year, this is really important to me. They look cute with casual skirts and dresses (e.g., cargo skirts, tank dresses), which is another plus. My only complaint is that although they have an adjustment strap, they aren't really meant for a person with a slim foot like me (8.75 in around ball of foot, size 10-10.5). The size 10.5 was unwearable, so I dropped down to the 10 which just barely works. But most people won't have this problem.

Calling all walking mommas! This is you shoe! Keeps your feet cool, so comfy you'll forget you're wearing shoes. This is my 2nd pair of Merrells, and I'll be back for more.
