These are great casual shoes! I love the look, and cannot wait to have cool feet during the summer heat. I have one fairly wide foot which is also almost half a size larger than my other foot. This worked out fine with these shoes. The soles are substantial and give me confidence in keeping my footing in my active up and down hills/grass/playgrounds, etc. I love Merrells in general, but especially these shoes.

I ordered a pair in size 8 and there were flaws in both shoes - a stitching defect on the right and some un-trimmed lining on the left that resulted in impending blisters on both feet. But I loved the shoes and decided to return the first pair and take a chance on another pair and I'm happy I did. The second pair is perfect. The insoles are removal which made it very easy for me to rinse caked mud off after a rainy day outing. The shoe dried quickly and I popped the insoles back in and was off for another hike. They are exactly what I've wanted for a long time. A great vented shoe with style and terrific tread for more difficult terrain.

I love these shoes so much that I bought them in both colors. If they came in other colors I might buy more. They are really cute and feel like I'm walking on clouds. I mostly wear them sockless but could also wear them with thin socks if I wanted. They are very much like wearing sandals with closed toes.

This is my fourth pair of these shoes since 2008. I wear them all the time. Very comfortable and breath. Great walking shoe.

These are the walking shoes I was looking for. They are comfortable right out of the box. We're doing a lot of traveling, and I wanted a shoe that didn't look like an athletic shoe. The insteps slip out if you want to use your own orthotics.

Liked the shoe; however, there is an insert that comes inside for support which is not flush with the base of the shoe. It irritates my instep. Unfortunate, because it's a cute shoe!

I have a narrow foot and purchased an older version of this shoe that had a strap which could be made tight enough to secure my foot. Loved the shoe and have worn it out. Unfortunately, they've redesigned the strap and the clasp location prevents me from truly tightening this across my arch. I also felt that overall this shoe was wider than my older version. Bummer.

These shoes arrived today and I am very pleased with the look and feel, They are soooo comfortable. I feel like I am wearing cushiony slippers with great arch support, and they are stylish and will look great with a variety of outfits. Very happy!

I do not know if it is this pair or in general but the bottom of shoe under the arch (under the removable insole) extends up farther on inner arch than the insole does and the hard plastic rubs against my foot. Perhaps for someone else it would not but it is painful for me.

I normally wear an 8½ in nearly every shoe I own. On rare occasion a 9. I ended up having to get an 8 in these as the 8½ was just super sloppy. The 8 is good - I wish it was a tiny bit longer (like 8¼) but straight out of the box I went for a four mile walk and they felt great. I will be buying a back-up pair. Fantastic insoles, especially in the heel area. The mary jane strap also keeps them from slipping on your heel which is great.

I love these shoes! I bought them last spring before a trip to Disney and since them wore them almost every day last summer! I can't wear flip flops and need a shoe with support and these were great. After a year I'm ordering another pair as they're due to be replaced as the mesh ripped a little where my small toe pushes out and the Velcro is not as sticky as it used to be. Happy to buy another pair!

the shoes fit perfectly! I love them! They looked narrow but when I put them on, they fit perfectly to my foot. I am now a Merrell fan.

These sell out SO quickly...so after I couldn't find them anywhere last spring, I stocked up in the off-season. These are GREAT shoes. I am finally replacing the pair I bought years ago. Those shoes came with me as I tromped through a muddy river, across mountains, and all over numerous cities site-seeing as well as being a reliably comfortable day to day shoe. They are supportive and allow your foot to breathe well. I highly recommend them! Buy while they're in stock! I am usually between a 5.5 and 6 but I'm clearly a 5.5 in this shoe.

I wear these all the time. I bruised my little toe (dropped a jug of juice on it!), and this was the only shoe that didn't hurt. I wish they made them in 12 colors.

Love the shoe. Extremely comfortable and stylish for a walking shoe. Returned for 7m which provided just a little more room for sock or foot expansion!

I have lots of trouble with my feet and these shoes are very comfortable for me. I am on my third pair. So glad I found these shoes.

I rarely write reviews, but feel compelled to write one about these, as I strongly depend on other reviews when purchasing shoes. I have had these in taupe for 2-3 years, and am now finding myself wearing these frequently (despite being November in Chicago!)....while searching for winter shoes. This shoe is immensely comfortable, and I have great difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable. They have held up well to frequent wear, fast to put on and take off, cute with many outfits, do not look huge (and I wear a size 9), and comfortable for all day wear with happy feet at the end of the day. And much less than many comfort brand shoes I have considered due to aching/sore/tired feet in many other shoes. I am considering a second color in these as they are FABULOUS. I agree with the reviewers also who mentioned they are lightweight and a great travel shoe as an everyday shoe. Wore them recently for a 10 day trip to Ireland and Scotland on sidewalks/excursions/etc and they were great. Zappos, too, is great. :)

I bought these shoes three years ago and have worn them all over the world as my primary travel shoes. I finally wore them out and searched everywhere for them again. Zappos had me on their notify list if it came available. I was thrilled when I got their email saying it was back in stock. The shoe does not have enough arch support for me so I change the insert with my own athletic one and I walk all day in them. I like that there is support and mesh-like material on the sides so the shoe does not get stones or sand in them. They keep your feet cool yet give full support. They are like a sandal-shoe!

These are the shoes that I have been dreaming of! I bought these shoes for a summer trip to Italy. I wanted shoes that I could wear without socks, that would cover my toes so pebbles and sticks could not get in, and that I could walk miles in. Check, check, and check! I walked all over Florence and Rome for miles and miles in these shoes. I was happy and enjoying the sights because my feet didn't hurt. I will say the mesh was not as breathable as I was hoping and my feet did get hot, but then it was over 95° every day. I am very happy that I found these shoes that I can walk for hours in, I do not have to wear socks for, and they look pretty decent.

Love these shoes, they are so comfortable! Bought them for an upcoming trip to South Africa, so glad I chose these, have worn them several times and know I will not be dealing with hurting feet while there. And they are cute too, a bonus!

I am a senior adult. I have ordered two pair of these Merrell's - one in each color. They have good arch support and are very comfortable to wear. Love them!

I love these shoes. I bought them to replace the pair that I finally wore out after 4 years of heavy wear including touring Greece and Italy. They can be worn with or without socks. The mesh keeps the foot cool while the orthotic insole provides lasting comfort. Plus the slip on and off easily for travel. They are casual and work with summer skirts and skirts, and maybe a relaxed dress, but are not a dress up option.

Was satisfied with the service I received. I received the second pair in a short amount of time. I was told I could donate the first pair. Decided to give them to my sister who is low income and is presently in the hospital with Multiple Myloma.

First of all, I have to tell you that I hate to wear shoes. But after knee surgery it was important to have good support. These shoes are a great choice. The open mesh allows my feet to breathe, they are easy to get on and off, are adjustable, and they are comfortable. So much so that I got them in both colors. Now if only they came in navy.
