The sole is very comfortable, but the fit is tight and the soles squeak on smooth floors. I decided to return these.

This is a great shoe for casual hiking as well as a workout on the elliptical. Zappos is my favorite shoe store. I wear a 10N and it is hard to find, but they have tons of options and are fabulous at shipping very quickly and the free returns are great!

These shoes are great except for one flaw. The shoelaces never stay tied, even if they are double knotted. Very annoying if you're in the middle of walking/jogging. They do have great support and look fantastic. I have had mine since spring and they still look great and nothing is falling apart. My suggestion is to replace the laces with some that aren't so slippery

Have other Merrells, but this pair is not the best of them - The shoes look really sharp on my feet, but do not seem to have as much padding and support that I would expect from a shoe this price. Would not wear them on a long walk or uneven surfaces. They are very light weight...that may account for less support in the shoe.

Shoelaces will NOT stay tied - Love these shoes. They are comfortable and good looking. Only fault; the shoelaces refuse to stay tied. They are slick and very long and for every hour I wear them I tie them about 3-4 times. And you can't buy different laces because with the color of shoe a white or black lace would look dorky.

Great shoe - I've had these shoes for about a month and wear them nearly everyday because they are comfortable. I gave 4 stars for comfort because they are a little narrower than I'm used to. They are really cute and they run true to size.

I ordered these in the mint. They are very attractive and I really like the looks. Mint is a great color that would go with almost anything you put on! My only problem with them is a lack of sufficient padding in the ball of the foot area. Merrell is one of my favorite brands and I hope they will eventually put more cushioning in this area of the shoe.

I loved these shoes at first. They are lightweight and comfortable, but after a few hours they leave my feet a bit sore. I don’t find they offer enough support and are a bit narrow across the ball of my foot. I had a hard time deciding between these and the Columbia Gaia and now I wish I had gone with the Gaia instead. These look really good and I’ve had no problems with the shoelaces, but if you need good support and/or a wider shoe, then these may not be the best option.

I expected much more support from this shoe. I wore them to a picnic yesterday and my feet and knees were really aching today. Also, the laces come untied a lot. It's really annoying to have to put down whatever I am carrying and bend down on a busy sidewalk to tie my shoe.

Loved the shoe, but I found that they run small. I usually buy a 10.5, and ordered an 11. It was too small and they do not come any larger, so I am returning them. They are very good looking, although the sole felt hard to my foot.

I want to love this shoe, but... Maybe it’s just me or maybe it’s the wrong size - but this is one of those shoes that feel like it has so much support that it actually hurts my feet. I ordered my normal size, but it is a little large, so it is possible that the arch support is ending up further back on my foot that is what it hurting. Too bad because I really wanted to like these shoes!

I got an e-mail reminding me to buy a new pair of these shoes, and laughed a little. I bought these shoes last summer because of the excellent support they were supposed to have, and they did. They also gave me corns on two toes after about a month of wear. Bear in mind that I was, at that time, working 70 hours a week on my feet (hence the desire for foot support), so for someone else they might have lasted longer. I have never had corns before or since. My feet are slightly wide, but not drastically so, and I tried a different model of Merrels, thinking it might just be this shoe. It wasn\'t. I wouldn\'t recommend Merrel\'s to anyone.
