Cute, comfortable, lightweight -
I live in the city and walk quite a bit, so I'm always on the lookout for shoes I can wear from train to sidewalk to work -- and these are winners! They have good support, a nonskid sole, and the shoe comes back far enough on the instep so that the fit is quite snug and secure. Recommended. And thanks, Zappos, for upgrading to overnight shipping for free -- ordered Wednesday night (late) and received Friday morning. That's service!

Love this shoe!
I looked everywhere for a shoe that would be comfortable indoors and out, provide traction for icy streets and parking lots, be warm enough for business needs in Alaska's winter weather and also look good enough for work. The Merrell Primo Patch fits all those needs and is easy to care for too. So happy I got them!

I bought these shoes after wearing a mary jane style shoe that wasn't giving me enough support. My large and clunky orthotic fit in perfectly leaving me plenty of room in the toe box. They are fairly cute for this style of shoe. I am wearing them today with a skirt and they don't look odd or not dressy enough. A great shoe. I'll probably go back a buy the brown ones, too.

My first pair!
I bought these on the suggestion of a friend. I am a nurse and am on my feet for most of my day. I was really surprised how comfortable these shoes are. I had always worn tennis shoes until now! Not only are these shoes very comfortable, but they are very stylish!

I wore the Primo Patch for the first time, all day on concrete. I have osteo-arthritis affecting my feet and knees, and I was very happy with the shoe. I felt great all day long without foot pain!

Great shoe -
This is my second purchase of this shoe. It is a very comfortable, casual shoe. Great for orthotics.

Very light weight - These shoes are very light for this style of shoe. I wear a 6.5 and these were too small with thicker socks. I prefer socks with thicker heel to reduce rubbing. I had to exchange the 6.5 for a 7. I should always just order both sizes just in case (and Zappos makes it so easy too, with free returns- xoxo, Zappos!). You may want to order two sizes if you are unsure. I think that with a thin sock or no sock, the back sides, which are a little stiff, would rub. I still think the shoe may be a half size smaller even without thicker socks – my socks are pretty basic – not hiking socks, but not trouser socks. The shoes are very well made, and I think a decent price compared to other "comfort" shoes I normally wear.

I took a chance and bought these shoes because I was so tired of wearing the Brooks athletic shoes, especially while on business trips. I wanted a dressier shoe for business, but my feet require special support and prescription inserts. The Brooks shoes fit the bill to accommodate my inserts and to give me the support I need; however, I have yet to find any shoe that allows me to remain on my feet for more than a few hours at a time without my feet feeling tired and sore. I bought the Merrell shoes for business purposes, and they remain comfortable for my feet for hours. They accommodate my inserts without me having to take out the original inserts. The heel slips up and down a little when I walk, but does not cause blisters. At first, I thought this would bother me, but I've since gotten used to it. They feel wonderful on my feet. There is plenty of room in the toe area (I've always had a problem accommodating my left little toe). I normally require a wide shoe (in cheaper brands), but medium size works for me in this shoe. At first it was a little tight across the top of my foot, so I took my shoe stretchers to them, and that seems to have taken care of the problem, except when I wear them for really long periods of time, I think my feet swell and the top feels just a little snug. Overall, these shoes feel wonderful, but (probably because of my own special foot problems) I can't wear them comfortably for days at a time, because they don't quite give the support my athletic shoes give. In spite of my own specific foot problems with shoes in general (these shoes probably wouldn't affect most wearers) I plan to buy another pair of these shoes in brown, because, so far, these are very comfortable, as long as I don't wear them for extended days at a time without wearing my athletic shoes. They are also very attractive with slacks (not with dresses/skirts). I think most other wearers would find these shoes to be one of the most comfortable shoes they've ever worn. I heartily recommend them.
I'd also recommend:
Most Brooks athletic shoes, for high arched feet that require inserts.

Merrell primo patch -
Not as comfortable as the jungle moc but close. More stylish. The back is soft and crushes making it difficult to put on.

Comfort -
The comfort is great although I wish it had more arch support. It is difficult to get your foot into the shoe. A personal difficulty for me is I need one shoe longer than the other so finding a pair that meets the need of both feet is nearly impossible.

Nice shoes!
These are the first Merrells I have purchased. They fit well and I like the look of them. I am always looking for comfort fit shoes. They will be great for the winter.

Not what I expected -
I had tried on the Merrell's Primo Patch at a store but the 9 1/2 was a little too short, but felt really comfortable, so I ordered the 10. It seemed like the arch in the footbed was in the wrong spot and made my foot slide forward. I had ordered both brown and black. I wore the brown ones, so I couldn't return them, but my feet were aching by the end of the day. I had a pair of replaceable Birchkenstock footbeds, so I changed out the footbed and it is much better. A little narrow at the toe joint, but OK to wear now. Zappos service is unbeatable though!! Received them in 2 days and return for the black ones easy!!!
I'd also recommend:
I like Joseph Siebals, Naot and Birckenstocks - better arch support.

On my feet ALL DAY!
I'm a flight attd. and I usually wear Josef Seibel’s. They didn't have my size in the style I wanted, so I let the young man talk me into trying these. Although they weren't quite as comfortable or as well made as my Josef's they ran a very close second. They were also much less expensive. My only complaint is being on my feet for 12-14 hrs a day; 3-4 days a week I need a shoe that holds up. These didn't hold up for even 9 months. Josef's will last close to 18 mos. With my job I know I'm VERY hard on shoes. For someone who doesn't abuse their shoes like I do, these would probably hold up much longer.

These shoes seemed like they\'d be comfortable if only they would have fit. Other reviewers weren\'t kidding when they said to order a half size bigger. Unfortunately I wear an 11 and they aren\'t available any bigger. So, back they go.

Size and width are true. Minimal arch support, does not accommodate orthotics. Generally quite comfy & sturdy.
