These are without a doubt the very finest athletic shoes I have ever owned. I purchased them because of their unusually high recommendation. In the consumer reports they are the number one athletic shoe of all. I would have to concur. The shoe's construction is outstanding. It fits the foot so snugly and offers such wonderful support. Yet, on the other hand, it is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn by far as well. The gel effect provides such a great cushion. I am a walker, usually walking around 10,000 steps a day or more. I used to get plantar fasciitis on occasion with the other different shoes I have worn, but not with these. Being retired now, this shoe has become the principal one that I wear virtually all of the time. I just love it. I wish I had known of it some years ago. It's just an Asics shoe in and of itself that makes such a difference for me. This specific model Gel-150 TR is great. Last of all, the service I received from Zappos has been splendid. It is my first but not my last purchase from them.

These are the best athletic shoes I have ever worn. They are light. They are comfortable. And they are half the cost of the major brand of athletic shoes I was previously using for years. I wear them to go on long walks (5 to 15 miles). I wear them to work out (cross training). And I wear them to work. I like them so much that I bought 4 pair. And my wife bought 2 pair.

I read about this particular shoe in Consumer Report magazine and it was highly recommended. Instead of driving all over the Twin City area I went directly to Zappos. I was not disappointed, they had the right size and I got it within three days and it fits perfectly. Thanks, Zappos, Frank.

I first read reviews at Consumer Reports. Then went to a local store to try on for size and widths a similar Asics Gel shoe. I ordered them wide and slightly long and am totally satisfied.The cushioning is second to none. In fact the absorption affect is so strong, I'm getting some chafing as my heel slides up and down in the shoe. I'd buy another pair tomorrow.

I bought these for my husband, who runs a lot. He liked the width but needed to go up a half size for enough toe room at the end. He is very happy with the shoe.

The shoes fit good, but the best part about the order was the speed at which we received our shoes and then when I had to return for a different size, it was easy, quick and painless.

Three weeks ago I purchased a pair of Asics 150 TR Gel athletic shoes from Zappos. Zappos shipped regular ground. To my surprise I had the shoes 4 days later. I order shoes based upon ratings in Consumer Reports. I had always been a New Balance user. Upon wearing the shoes for a minute or two I began exclaiming to my wife about how comfortable and supportive they felt. I am 67 with really bad knees and have attempted walking daily using the NB's. I walked short distances but with difficulty. I am currently walking daily a distance of 1.5 miles. There is still some pain and difficuly, but the 150 TR's have really helped. They are superior to any affordable athletic shoe I have ever used. In fact, last week I ordered a pair for my wife. There are two things on which she agrees with me; (1) the TR-150 Gels are the best and; (2) the service we have received from Zappos is as wonderful as the shoes we purchased. We both will be ordering a second pair within the coming week from Zappos, of course!

I recently purchased a pair of Asics-150 TRs. I bought these after reading about them in "Consumer Reports", which rated them a good buy. I have for many years been a wearer of New Balance running shoes, but lately have been dissatisfied with them, both price wise and quality wise. I find your shoe to be as good or better than the NB's, and at close to 1/2 the price. I can find no reason not to continue to buy your product.

Best shoes on the planet??? After MUCH deliberation I finally bit the bullet and ordered the shoes. Hoping that they would at least live up to my expectations, but I NEVER imagined they would end up being THE BEST SHOES on the planet.

Zappos.com rocks! I buy Asics shoes because I had plantar fasciitis in my foot. These shoes are great for helping with that.

I was delighted both with my Asics and your quick service. Zappos was recommended by Consumer Reports and the Asics brand by my son-in-law, who is a marathon runner and always crosses the finish line. Also, unlike with other online shopping centers, I found your package both easy to open and friendly to the environment here in Brooklyn.

Felt true to size. Unlike most shoes of this type, these took a few days to break in.

I've always bought ASICS shoes. I wanted something more multipurpose than a running shoe. I must admit, I was not as happy with these as with other shoes in the past. Maybe because they are leather versus the mesh style I have worn in the past. I had to return the first pair...felt a bit too small. Zappos return policy is fantastic! I hope these shoes will loosen up over the next few weeks. Planned uses: Bike, lifting weights, walking, general outdoor activities.

I was looking for a shoes to workout in the gym (weight training and cardio). I came across these shoes on Zappos website and saw several good reviews, and price was VERY reasonable. So I have purchased it. First pair started to get a split (tear) on the bottom sole where the shoe bends after about 2 weeks, so I requested for exchange of same exact shoes. I got the new pair with in a couple of days (Great service ZAPPOS!!). I've been wearing the new shoes for about a month now, and I'm VERY pleased. Very comfortable, very good cushion (I do a lot of jumping around for cardio workout) this is my first ASICS shoe, and I love the way they fit my feet.

Why I bought this shoe: I'm 62 years old, and I walk 2-3 miles for exercise daily, primarily on pavement, and get very sore feet if the heels are not adequately cushioned. Purchased this pair hoping for comfortable fit and good heel cushioning. Comfort, Fit, Performance: These shoes met my expectations, and they perform much better than others I've worn which cost nearly twice as much. Sorry I can't give technical details, but I'm no shoe expert. I picked these from a prominent consumer publication and went to Zappos because you can't always find exactly what you want in Meridian, Idaho. This was my first online shoe purchase. I followed Zappos' advice on size selection, and I'm delighted with the fit. Durability: I've only been wearing the shoes for about 120 miles, but they show no unusual or excessive wear so far. Style: There were three style choices for this shoe, and since I'm an old ____, I was pleased to find a very plain-looking shoe. So I rated the style very high because, paradoxically, I could get a shoe that wasn't stylish.

My husband just had knee surgery, so I wanted to get him a shoe with good support, a shock absorber, and he seems to really likes these. I feel like they look a little narrow, but he says they are really comfortable. I think they look good with his jeans, not like big white boats, like so many sneakers tend to look on men. Very happy with choice.
