Really like this shoe. Did not have a lot of time to break in {1 week). Ran a half marathon no problems. Highly recommend.

Love these shoes! My feet tend to hurt in Nikes. Asics always come through for me. The GT-2140 are a great balance if you are not in need of any specific running shoe, but want comfort and some extra support. I have owned a more structured runner, but it is not as perfect as these! Try them out! Again Zappos is the BEST place for shoes and they are unbeatable in shipping. I had them the next day. Thanks again Zappos!

I had the same shoes last year and loved them, only to find that they had been "upgraded" to a new style this year. Thank goodness Zappos still had some. They are comfy and great for doing tons of walking in the city, or working out at the gym. My only problem is that the arch support starts out excellent, but gets pretty compressed. That’s a problem. I have high arches, so I probably replace my shoes faster than I really need to.

I have been buying this Asics GT-2140 (or its equivalent) for several years. It is a great shoe for working out, running, or just wearing around. I thought it felt a little wider at this purchase, but I have lost a little weight, so could that be it? It is still comfortable and gives great support. I like the color also - not too garish, but still a little shine.

These shoes are great! Not only are they cute, they are very comfy. The arch support is good, fit is true to size and this point is not mentioned...but the back of the shoe is really formed to your ankle. It supports that area of your foot very well.

LOVE these shoes! I've been running for over 20 years, and these are the best ride! Great arch support, and cut a little lower on the ankle to keep from rubbing that ankle bone and Achilles tendon. I ordered a 1/2 size up, as typical for running shoes. I've tried many other brands through the years, and Asics has been my go-to for the last 10 years.

ASICS GT's have been my running shoe for years. Love the way they are instantly wearable and give me no problems. The front of my foot is a bit wide; the ASICS shoe always fits well in the toe box area. Love Zappos service. Always in stock. I can order at 1pm in the afternoon. Shoes are on my doorstep the next day. Returns a breeze.

I am so glad Asics has kept this model basically the same over the years! I am a mild pronator with flat feet who runs about 20 miles a week. This shoe is perfect for me. I replace them once a year and will never switch brands or model!

This is my second pr. of ASICS and I’m very pleased with them. I ordered a half-size larger than my usual size for heels and they fit perfectly. They are really comfortable and have excellent cushioning along with really good arch support. I like the styling, too. All told, I’m very happy with these shoes.

If you are a borderline size 8, definitely order the 8.5. I use these sneakers for walking on a treadmill and they have been really wonderful - lots of cushioning, and the wide width is wide enough for my toe box while not being too wide in the heel, a big plus.

I love these shoes! I know they're running shoes but they're so supportive that I use them for my aerobics!

I purchased these shoes for my daughter who is in college, exercises a lot, runs a lot and is extremely picky about everything that she owns. She absolutely loves these shoes. I have been successful in purchasing my daughter any clothing item that she did not complain about until now. When I was trying to figure out what size shoe she wore (she had previously worn Nike and I believe that Nike's run slim through the width), she told me that she believes she has a wide foot. I would have thought different but I went with what she told me. She stated she was currently wearing a size 9 in Nike and they were tight through the ball of the foot area but were a bit too long. I took the chance and ordered a size 8.5 D(wide) and they were a perfect fit! She stated that they fit true, her toes were at the right spot and the width was perfect. They did not rub her heels nor did they need breaking in at all. You know how you have to make the shoe fit your foot and hurt, wear bandaids etc., until they fit to your foot? There was none of that at all. She tends to walk on the outside of her feet and does not have much of an arch. Even though I believe these shoes are for people who tend to walk on the inside, she walks on the outside and sorta drags her feet. All I can say is that I was successful in purchasing something for my daughter in 21 years! They fit true to what the manufacturer states. If you believe your shoes are tight, purchase a wide(D) and see the difference. They are also very light and springy she states. Again, my daughter is the most critical person that I have ever met, so if there were something wrong with these shoes, even a tiny bit, she would had told me as soon as she put them on. I believe they are well worth the $$ to purchase this style. I almost purchased the top selling shoe, which I do not remember the manufacturer but they were sold out all during Christmas and now I am happy that I did not purchase them as they cost a lot more. The reviews that I read about the top selling shoes, people stated that the heel rubbed terribly even though the manufacturer states that they are geared to mold the heel, so I went with the Asics GT-2140 after reading many reviews and I was finally successful after 21 years! They also come in a few different colors that are very pretty.

These shoes run short. I wear an 8 1/2, but purchased a 9 1/2 and they are perfect. Great support and fit. I am buying them in white as well. If you have a flexible arch, they will give you all the support you need. Great shoe...

Great shoe - even better than the 1140 I was wearing. More cushion under the ball of the foot has helped me a lot with a dropped metatarsal head on one foot. No matter how long I wear them, they have stayed comfortable! Surprisingly, they are a bit wider than I was anticipating and have added a sock with a bit more cushion along the bottom of the foot. Love ‘em!

I think running shoes are all about the right fit for your feet, so these shoes work for me because: I have no arch, I have shorter toes, I have square-ish wide feet. I overpronate slightly. I have been using the GT series Asics as my running/gym shoe for the last 10 years.

Asics brand was recommended by my podiatrist. I have worn out knees and a bad back. I no longer run, but these shoes are very comfortable to walk 5 or more miles. They are a good combination of stiff support and cushioning. I have narrow heels and these seem to fit just right.

As always, the product purchased is great. I have ordered many, many shoes from Zappos. The customer service is like no other. I even order my son's LAX cleats, guessing the size, knowing that if they do not fit, it is a hassle free exchange!

These shoes fit perfectly with great support. They are a little more silvery than I expected but I am very happy with them.

I loved these I ordered my 2nd pair before there no longer available I can run longer. I had the 2120 and loved not so much the 2130 these are much better for me because there tighter in the middle, so my foot don't slide much. These are very comfortable I wish they didn't change shoes every year.

Asics shoes are the only athletic shoes that my daughter and I wear because we both have flat feet and achy arches. They have outstanding arch support and a removable insole if you need to where orthotics. Reliable fit and worth every penny. The light grey instead of white mesh makes the shoe look cleaner longer.

I have wide feet but a narrow heel. These shoes fit my feet perfectly, are very comfortable, and provide the support I needed in an athletic shoe. I love Zappos because if something doesn\'t fit it doesn\'t cost anything to return the item and is very easy to return.

The GT-2140 are the most comfortable sneakers that I have ever owned. When walking around in the GT-2140, it feels like I\'m walking on cotton and I don\'t even think about my feet. They are incredibly comfortable and I highly recommend them. It\'s too bad that Asics make it hard to find and have a limited supply.

he ASICS GT-2140 running shoe is super. I buy it for my daughter who runs 5-8 miles a day. This is the only shoe she will wear. It is light, but gives great support. She first purchased this at a specialized running store where it was highly recommended, now we know why. It is lightweight and super support for your foot.

These sneakers are great. I have very hard to fit feet, wide at the top and narrow at the heel and a bunion and one big toe a lot shorter than the other after an operation. These are so comfortable and well made. Zappos is great.

I bought these after watching a segment on GMA. I decided a two day trip to Disneyland would be a great place to try to break them in. To my surprise, after the two days, not a single blister or sore!
