This is a great running shoe; especially for those who need medium stability support! I've been wearing Asics for four years now and keep buying newer versions of the same shoe.

I love the Asics GT-2140. It is very cushioned and right now is the only comfortable shoe I have, following a foot injury in January 2010. Prior to the injury I was walking 15-17 miles per week on a treadmill, wearing the Asics Kayano 14 and Kayano 15. After the injury that shoe hurt so I ordered the GT-2140. I'm not able yet to resume exercise walking - but can say with complete confidence that the GT-2140 is a very comfortable shoe to a very sore foot.

Love these shoes- light as a feather and great arch support! I generally take a 7.5 dress shoe but the 8.5 Asics work for me.

I have been running/working out long distances for almost 15 years and I have never found a shoe that I liked enough to buy again and again, until I found these. They are worth the money! The first week or two I wear them they are incredibly uncomfortable as you have to break in the memory foam. So initially they feel very bouncy which is good, but they kind of burn my feet in places they aren't worn in. After that, they are simply amazing. Since wearing these shoes I have significantly reduced the amount of shin splints I get, and my knee injuries have stopped getting worse (not gotten better, but not gotten worse). They are extremely lightweight, and very well cushioned, but the best part is the way they mold to your feet. The design of the shoe is great for running because they kind of force you to run heel-toe, and add a little bounce to your stride, which is proper technique. I teach a very high-impact sports-conditioning class (Body Attack) in addition to running long distances (in the 10 mile to half marathon range) and I no longer wear any other shoe. For my Body Attack class, these shoes last me only about 4-5 months, because they wear down a bit from all the lateral movement. But it's worth that because they are so lightweight. Last but not least important is how good looking these shoes are. I own the blue/white and orange/white combinations, and personally I don't think the blue/white is as cute, but it's not bad. The orange/white is just great looking and I get compliments on them a lot. As far as fit, Asics shoes always run a bit narrow, but they aren't so bad you have to order a size wider than normal. I get a medium width, and they break down a bit on the sides after lots of wear, but they don't feel too narrow. If you're looking for a great shoe that is worth a few extra dollars, this is it. Not as expensive as some of the top-notch tennis shoes, but not extremely cheap either...but they are really great.

This shoe was comfortable from the first time I wore it. I teach Body Combat and I loved this shoe because it offers a great deal of support for lateral movements, jumps and kicks. Actually, this is my second pair of this model and I will most likely get another pair. I have a difficult foot to fit and this shoe worked great for me. I over pronate and have a small but wide foot.

These Asics are my favorite running shoes. I bought the 2130's because I got fitted for them for my narrow, high arch feet. They have outstanding support. Zappos is my favorite online shopping because they truly value their customers by upgraded shipping and great products! Love Zappos!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have had in years! They do help support my foot that has a tendency to pronate. I found the shoe true to size. It was great to find it in a wide.

This is a great shoe! The 3rd one that I've purchased. I'm a beginner runner, so I was initially fitted at a running store for this shoe. They told me I needed this shoe for stability and they recommend ordering up a 1/2 size from what you normally wear. They were right because the shoes seem to fit me perfectly. I wear a 12 1/2 women's and the size is tough to come by, but I can always count on Zappos.com!

This shoe is excellent. I have purchased sneakers for twice as much because I really need great arch support and a good stability shoe. I love it. It is very light, but fairly stiff providing the support that I need for my busy day. I’m on my feet all day and if I don’t wear proper, supportive shoes, my feet rebel.

LOVE these shoes! Needed a spare pair while on vacation at Disney World (my shoes were soaked from the rain). Ordered them at 6 PM and received them the next day at 4 PM! I've always bought the Asics Gel Kayanos, but decided to try these because they were $40 cheaper. (good arch support, but I still have to wear my inserts) LOVE them!! Will get these again!

This is the Best athletic shoe I have ever had. I've been wearing size 12, and on my right foot they are a little too short. This shoe was available in a 12.5. It fits perfect. The heel and instep are not too big -- the heel doesn't slip when you walk. With so many large size shoes, it's like they give you a man's shoe. This shoe is definitely designed for a woman. I have a height arch and my orthotics work perfectly in them. If you don't wear orthotics, I would say only a moderate arch support. I bought a second pair (the black works great with jeans, and don't make your feet look huge)

Just a wonderful shoe! Very comfortable---needs no breaking in. You can wear them immediately upon receipt and walk or run or do aerobics as long as you want to. I also appreciated the fantastic and super quick delivery from Zappos. Thank you.

I love these shoes... I got this pair to run a half marathon on the Great Wall of China. I fell in love with these shoes about 2 years ago and this is my 3rd pair in, I get a different color every time. I have the teal blue/lime green, black and now this one... The Berry color. True to size, great if your arches tend to collapse.

Love these shoes. This is my second pair of GT-2140 ASICS. The first pair lasted for a full year through lots of wear. They have stable support, are lightweight, and have ample toe room. I wear a women's size 11 and the fit was just right. Zappos service is the best.

I LOVE these shoes. I bought my first pair of Asics about 6 months ago after reading a review on Zappos.com. The person writing the review stated that it was the only shoe she had tried that allowed room for a bunion. I have bunions as well so figured I’d give them a try and they were great. I upgraded to the 2140s and they are just as wonderful. The best part? Being able to put them on and go for a run - no breaking in required. The only other thing better than the shoes is Zappos.com's service. Unbelievably fast, friendly, and accurate. Asics and Zappo.som Rock!

I love these running shoes from Asics. They have good arch support, suitable for people with high arches. The shoes are comfortable and attractive looking. They run true to size.

As always, Zappos was excellent in their expedient shipment of the shoes. As far as the shoes, I have been wearing Asics for running for about 8 years now. When one pair wears out, I get another of the next year model. They always fit wonderfully, they are always sturdy, comfortable shoes that never give me blisters or hotspots. They are ready to run in right out of the box. This pair was no exception.

Great service, very fast, just what I ordered. I will definitely use Zappos again. Asics are great shoes, especially for running and jumping sports. As with most running shoes, you need to order a 1/2 size larger.

I ordered these shoes for my mother. She is 74 years old and has neuropathy in her feet from spinal stenosis. It is nearly impossible to find a shoe that will fit her very narrow feet and not cause her extreme discomfort. I scored a big hit with these shoes. She has worn nothing else since they arrived. She is also thrilled with the black color, because white running shoes don’t really go with most of her clothes. We can now go on shopping trips of several hours duration before her foot discomfort becomes too much. The shoes have a narrow heel and midsection, but a wide enough toe box that nothing is touching or rubbing her very sensitive toes. Only those with neuropathy will understand or appreciate how important that is. They are very soft and flexible. Only downside to this shoe, the mesh toe allows a lot of cold air in, but she understands that it is supposed to be a running shoe with good air circulation, it will just be more comfortable in the summer.

I ADORE my 2140s. They are a fabulous stability shoe for running, and also got my feet through a European trip that involved a lot of hiking and 10+mile walks through cities. I’m on my 2nd pair now and I will continue buying this shoe.

Great shoe for runners who pronate. Narrow fittings are true to size. I have tried several running shoes with narrow fittings, and this one is the best. Order half size up from street shoes.

Great shoes - comfy w/ support. Love having narrow sizes! No break-in required for exercise walking. Order at least 1/2 size bigger than your "regular" shoes. Love zappos!
