I am a big Asics fan and when my other ones wore out, I got these. There are some the most comfortable athletic shoes I have ever worn, even right out of the box.

My husband has wide feet and these are one of the few running shoes that fit comfortably. I got him the EE (wide) and he loves them!

I have worn a ton of running shoes. I walk almost ten miles per day, five or six days per week and blow through a pair in less than three months. The soles on the 2140 seem to be holding up a little better than my last two or three pairs of Asics and Montrails. I was wearing Hardrocks for a few years and saw some of that shoe's construction go south in the last few pairs. I have a black pair of 2140s and they haven't shown grime as quickly as the lighter shoes. I have a slightly (very) wide foot and medium arch. Fit is great (as with most Asics). I will buy a few of these again soon!

I've used Asics for a number of years, and then switched to Saucony seeking some better arch support. I switched back mainly because the Sauconys would wear out way too quickly. I saw a couple of reviews that complained about blister on the foot (near the arch) and I had the same problem the first couple of times I ran in them. But once the shoes were broken in, they worked out great. I just wouldn't run long runs in them until you've run in them 2-3 times. We'll see how they hold up to the wear and tear.

I purchased a pair of these shoes on Black Friday (Nov 27th) because I saw that they were recommended by the American Podiatric Medical Association for back, knee, and neck pain relief. I am a big guy, and I have a very active job which includes a ton of walking, lifting, carrying etc. and I have suffered from chronic back pain for a few years now. \r\nNow, while I admit I am nowhere near being an athlete, I am quite active, and spend a ton of time on my feet, and I have always been a sneaker kind of guy. When I put these on for the first time, I was instantly in love with them, and they quickly became my favorite shoes. I am one of those guys were as soon as I go in my house, one of the first things I do is kick off my shoes, to my suprise, my girlfriend noticed that while we had been home for some time, I still had my shoes on. No joke, they are that comfortable. Since I have been wearing them, my back pain has been noticibly reduced, and feet have not hurt once while I have been wearing them. I would recommned these shoes to anyone that spends a great deal of time on their feet, or anyone that suffers from chronics neck, knee or back pain.

I have aches in right foot and left knee. I like the shoes, use them every day. But I still dont know if the shoe is improving my aches or not. But looks like i do like it bec i wear every day. \r\n\r\nZappos like always is the best

I love theses shoes. The 2140 rock! They are all I run in, and the black color are the only color that fit right! Zappos makes it so easy to get the right brand, size, and color. I won't shop anywhere else for might distance shoes.
