I just received the boots. They look and generally feel great. But, based upon the reviews of others, I ordered a larger size. The heel is too wide for narrow feet. Even with two pairs of socks, they slip up and down. I will order the size Zappos recommended (I wear a 7 1/2 usually) and will order an 8.

I wanted to love them, and there are many things about them that I really appreciate: the height, the light weight, the insert, the tongue, the quality, the tread, the look. I live in Minnesota, so my winter boots get a lot of use. Unfortunately, the design doesn't allow me to tighten the laces enough around my ankles and therefore they slip more than I can tolerate. I bought these for dog walking, which I do twice a day, regardless of the weather, and I walk at a moderate pace. I am usually a size 9 and bought a 9 and 10, and probably would have kept the 10 if they had worked for me. Unfortunately, neither worked because of the lace style and subsequent lack of support snug fit around the ankles.

The widest part of my foot, just below the base of the toes, felt squeezed in these. Another 1/4 to 3/8" in width on the toe end would have made them perfect. Other than that, loved the boot. I've got two pairs of Keen Winthrop boots that fit perfectly and am will still be wearing them even with worn out soles. Any suggestions for boots with a similar fit would be appreciated!

Love wearing these boots! I keep warm and dry. Hope they hold up better than Sorel and Northface of comparable styles....we shall see.

Purchased these for walking the dog and shoveling snow. They are very well made, light weight and so very comfortable. However, the fur that is on the side of the boots makes my calfs look unnaturally wide so back they go.

I read the reviews and orders a size up. It did fit but when I walked the sides, by my instep, slouched down so it looked weird. Only happens when I step down. Still pretty weird. So I’m returning them.

These are ridiculously comfortable... but as other reviews said, they run small. I usually wear an 8.5 so I ordered the 9 and it’s a tad tight. There aren’t half sizes, so I think the 10 will be too big ... so back they go. Super cute, but they also made my calves look a little bulky due to all the insulation.

Nice boot for standing around in the cold, I wanted something for walking. The lace pattern does not allow for it to be tightened around the foot.

When I first got these, I tried them on and thought, "Oh darn, they are small." I was going to return them but had not when the first large snowfall came. I decided I'd wear with a thin sock and they were wonderful. I have now worn them about 5 times even with regular socks and they are snug but wonderful. Needed a little breaking in. When everyone's feet were cold, mine were WARM as toast.

I wear a 5.5 Wide with a high instep...super difficult to get shoes/boots to fit properly. I was worried because all boot reviews I was interested in were reviewed as requiring buying a size up. For me 6 is a size up so I tried this boot in 7. It was way too big for me. FYI, it has a liner which I was not crazy about and it is heavy.

I have only tried these boots on so far and they seem very warm and comfy. However, I read many reviews here that said these boots ran small. I am a true size 8 and I ordered a size up (size 9 for me) as recommended and they were quite large. I even put on my thickest pair of alpaca socks and they still ran large. I would say that these boots seem to run true to size.

These run very small. I am a comfortable 11 sometimes, 10.5 and these are too snug to be comfortable. The boot itself seems very warm and well insulated.

These boots were warm and fashionable and I would have kept them but they were too narrow across the toes.

These boots are really cute and seem like they would fit great - in a size up! I am a size 8 and rarely ever need to go bigger, but these were tiny. Even with just the liner on, my toes grazed the front edges of the boots. Without the liner, the boots seemed huge, my toes only reaching the beginning of the rubber part of the boots. I am returning these and going with a size 9 in a slightly different style (only because Zappos is out of this color in a size 9).

Extremely small! Normally wear a 6.5 and sized up to an 8 in these. Still too small and way too narrow

I was really hoping these would be the perfect snow boots but like many reviewers I found them to be too snug. I wear an 8-8.5 in normal shoes and sized up to a 9 in these boots. They were pretty tight at first but did loosen up a bit after like 15 mins of walking around inside. However the toe box is just too narrow to be comfortable for a long period of time and I don’t think a bigger size would fix that. I also couldn’t get the tongues to sit flat/snug against my legs. I think another metal loop closer to the top would fix this. The boots did keep my feet very warm but at this price point there were too many issues to justify keeping. The search continues!
