I like these shoes!
Great look, they are comfortable. I ordered the normal size, but the feel is too big for me, even after adjusting the strap in the back. I gave them to my sister and I need to order another pair (smaller size) for me.

Before purchasing these shoes for a canoe trip, I had read other customer reviews that the sizes run big and to order a size smaller. I wear a size 9, so to be on the safe side ordered a size 8 1\/2. They ended up still being too big, and I had to return them for a size 8. This purchase was my first time using Zappos, and I was very impressed with their customer service and how easy it was to return the wrong sized shoes. I am now hooked on Zappos!

I took these shoes for a backpacking/white water rafting trip. They worked out perfectly! I needed shoes that could go straight from the water to a hike, so a shoes with a good soul and toe protection was crucial. These shoes did just that. The only problems that i faced were: dirt can collect in the shoe and be locked in beceause of the mesh, but if you can stop periodically and wipe out your shoe it should not be a problem. Secondly, the shoe takes a while to dry out; so if you mind a slightly damp shoe be warned. Also, order this shoe one whole size smaller. I am a size 10 and had to get a 9. Hope information helps!

I purchased the Salomon Light Amphibian 2 shoes to hike in Hawaii...They are a light shoe with some ventilation, as is required in hot climates. The sole was great for hiking, it had great traction. However the shoe did not keep my foot cool, unfortunately. I also walked on some rocks along the shore, and it was fantastic for that, but since the shoe got wet it stunk horribly. When I returned home I washed the shoe liners and the problem was solved

Shoe was at least a whole size too big, but the heel is adjustable, so it's a funny fit. I wear a size 9.5 and the flatness of the shoe made my foot look like it was a size 13. Plus I found it to be a bit too wide. I can see this being a neat shoe to have though, if you have the right type of foot for it.

This shoe is huge. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 so I ordered an 8 (taking the advice of other reviewers) and it was still way too big. I might even order a size and a half smaller. Unfortunately I ran out of time so ordered Columbia's instead (sadly, North Face Padda's were also too big and there were no smaller sizes available) so hopefully they work out. The 3 stars are mainly because of the difficulty in being able to get the right size.

Not what I was expecting. It runs a full size larger and not comfortable. Lacks good arch support. I love Salomon shoes, but this one doesn't measure up.
