I had trouble figuring out exactly what color these were from the website (more green or grey?) So I spoke to a Zappos rep and they pretty much told me they were more of the kind of green you see in a camouflage pattern. He was correct about that, but it is worthwhile to note that there is a large patch of grey trim around the heel area. Unfortunately, the boots were huge on me (Usually, I am a 6 or 6.5 depending on the shoe. I got the smallest size possible, which is supposed to fit 5-7, and I was flopping around like a fish inside them.) So sadly, since this is the smallest women\'s size, I had to return them. I found something else I liked though, so hopefully that will work out!

Saw these for my 13 year old daughter whose first reactions was no way. A week later, she realized just how fun and functional they were and then just had to figure out what color. She wore them up in Vermont where it was snowing and 8 degrees and was warm and dry. She loves the attention that the lime green color commands and they have replaced her Uggs on poor weather days.

I adore my Moon Boots. They are surprisingly light weight and in acid green, serve as a wonderful splash of color on dreary winter days. Of course, most importantly, whilst everyone else is freezing their toes off in the Canadian winter, these boots have kept me unbelievably warm and comfortable. They are fun and highly practical. I highly recommend them!

This is a great shoe and it's very comfortable and stylish. The only problem I have with it is that once you get it dirty and you get marks on it, it's impossible to clean off. The company should put cleaning instructions on it. I spent hours in the sink scrubbing it and trying to find a cleaning solution that will get off the stains. I've tried laundry detergent, windex, hand soap, dish washing detergent, toothpaste, turpentine, bleach, toothpaste, vaseline, and I eventually sent it to the dry cleaners and it came back in worse condition. If you do buy these shoes, be very careful with them. Because once you get stains on it and scruff marks, they are going to be so impossible to take out you might as well buy a new pair of boots.

These boots get 2 thumbs up. Way up. They are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn and they are great for snow and ice because they have suction cups on the bottom. These come in handy if you're clumsy and have a tendency to fall. They are clearly designed for winter, but I find them to be very stylish and I intend on wearing them through all the seasons. I love that the inside feels like a Tempur-Pedic mattress and the boots can be worn on either foot to cut down on confusion over the whole left foot-right foot issue. Although I highly doubt that these boots are approved for space travel to the moon, they are probably the next best thing. One drawback that I discovered the hard way: these boots weren't made for dancing, specifically the Moonwalk (the name is deceiving). Otherwise, I am a huge fan.

I love my Moon Boots! They feel so good that I never want to take them off! They are the perfect boot to keep you warm. This white pair is my 4th pair if that tells you anything!

These shoes are pretty amazing. I really think they can make it through anything now after spilling cooking oil on them and running them under water and having it come right off. At this point I'm just waiting for snow so I can really test them out. They're light boots, and very comfortable. Thanks for a great buy! And an awesome birthday present.

This boots are excellent for snow. Warm and comfortable. Not fashionable though, if you are looking to be comfortable and safe rather than sexy and glamorous, this is the right choice.

OMG the MoonBoot! Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em! I got those boots to wear to a ski trip and they served me well! The warmest boots ever and you feel like your walking on clouds! What else do u need after wearing painful ski boots? I wore them inside the cabin and even when it gets a little too warm, your feet don't sweat! I'm getting them in a different color! :)

Perfect shoe for Tahoe... ;) These boots are really comfortable and keeps your feet warm! You should order it one size up though! I would buy it again and again! A few of my friends have those boots too and are happy with it as well!

These were a bit too small - I wear a size 9. Bought the 8 to 9 1/2 (39-41) size - guessing by the fit the next group size would be too big. The foot-bed wasn't comfortable - could feel the foot-bed structure right through the insole. Thicker socks might help with the foot-bed, however these boots are very warm - even in below zero Minnesota winter!

These are Après ski boots meant for wearing when you retreat back to the ski lodge. These boots have little function for day to day walking around in an urban setting. I will say though that they are warm and depending on the fabric you purchase they are water resistant, not water proof. They do well on snow. They are cozy but they are mostly fashionable. It takes a bit of getting used to because of the 2-3 inch height that lifts you off the floor. Practice walking in your home, there is no arch support as the foot bed is leveled. I happen to love Tecnica moon boots personally (I bought a pair every winter for the last 4 years) but mostly for fashion. You will always get looks, questions and compliments guaranteed when you wear these boots.

Nice warm boot. Not as much padding in the bottom as I remember as a kid, but I am a little heavier now. The major problem I have is trying to stuff my pants in the boot. The top is almost too small for that. So if you have larger calves this boot will not even fit you. The boot also feels like you got it on the wrong foot.

The boots arrived sooner than expected and were of good quality. My daughter loves them. I think the price is a bit high, but I've seen used ones on eBay at a hefty price. In any case, Zappos was great to deal with, the product is just as advertised, and my kid absolutely loves them. There are no complaints here. The sizing I can only pass along what my daughter says, so your mileage may vary.

Don’t buy if you have bug calves!

I really liked my Moon Boots. They have great colors and it was my first winter in Chicago. I wanted something obnoxious looking, but super warm and comfortable. These were them. However, like some had said they are not terribly durable. My heel wore down and they were no longer water proof. No Bueno. So with not even lasting one winter for this price was kind of upsetting. They are more for just light wear. When you go to the snow or just skiing or boarding for the day. Not for a commute unfortunately. The plus is no one else has them.

Had a pair back in the early '80s but remember them being like walking on marshmallows! These are comfortable but I am a little disappointed...foot bed not as comfortable as I remember. I am returning but those who don't remember them from way back may think these are great. Hope they recreate what they offered back then!

I bought these for my 6th grade daughter for Christmas. She loves wearing them and I thought they would be great for after skiing and would be a fun boot to wear to school. Sadly they have already started to fall apart at the heel. The rubbery stuff that holds on the sole completely fell apart. I'm sad that the reviews about this were buried at the bottom of the list. I have contacted Zappos to see if we can make this right. Funny how my mother-in-law's moon boots from the '80s are still in use!
