These are fantastic boots. We go through a pair every couple of years but they are worth every penny. They are very lightweight but keep out the cold better than any other boots we have found. We live in the mountains of Colorado so snow on the ground in feet is just a way of life. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous snow shoes! These are the original classic design from the 80s. Tenica has so many other designs (some with different textures) so I encourage you to check those out. But these are the classic design and I love them. Lightweight and stylish but the soles are heavy-duty with excellent friction for snow or rain. One thing about the size, it's a size range, not a specific size so choose your size carefully.

Both my 12-year old and 8-year old girls have these and they love them. Fit is never an issue as they are cushy and have lots of give. Other than the fact that one cannot run in them easily, these boots are pretty much good for any everyday children routines.

These boots were a gift my my daughter with a lot of personality...and they are the perfect fit. They look huge but are surprisingly comfortable and easy to walk in - and she is small. Very warm and fun to wear. She wears a size 4 and I bought her the 4 to 7.5 and they are fine.

These boots are wonderful. They are fashionable and extremely comfortable. They are great for ski trips or for just walking around.

I like the looks and the weight of the shoes - very light. But within two weeks, the shoes looked terrible - old, strings coming off, the back of the shoes are bent, and the shoelaces already had be replaced. Even talking into account that my son is just now learning how to tie his own shoes, so he steps on the shoelaces, I would like to see kids' shoes a little more resistant.

Loved the look and style but the first pair were too small and the next size up was to big. Left like it would have been a nice boot.

My daughter loves these. My only complaint is that it was impossible to figure out the correct size from the website. We ended up getting two pairs and returning the smaller ones.

I love these boots! I bought them primarily for a costume, but I even wear them out and about. They're like marshmallows on your feet, and you kind of feel like an astronaut when you walk around. There isn't a specific right or left, so the inside of the boot is more of an oval shape. They're very roomy width wise, and they conform to your feet. The style is original from 1979, and hasn't been updated since. Awesome vintage feel. I'm an 8-8 1/2 in women's, and they fit perfect.

Love that Moon Boots are back but they are not as comfortable as they were back in the '70s. Before they felt like you were walking on air and had a lot more bounce and heel did not slip. Kind of clunky now. Still extremely warm and very stylish.

I have been wanting a pair of moon boots for years! And finally decided to search for a pair to order. This was my first purchase from Zappos and I am very pleased! The boots came within 3 days and they are as shiny and beautiful as I expected them to be. I can't wait for winter to come now! I plan on eventually purchasing another pair in a different color and I definitely plan on shopping with zappos.com again too!

I love these boots! They do expand somewhat with time as other reviewers have mentioned, but if you are okay with re-learning to walk a little bit differently it's no issue. They are super warm and waterproof, not to mention fun! I actually look forward to rain and snow now so I can bust these out.

I'm a Size 7 Narrow and my toe was right at the end of this boot. It felt a little wide as well but most likely I would wear a thicker sock with these anyway. Sending back for a larger size. My only concern is how do I drive in these. Anyone have a problem?

Roomy, in fact, too roomy. I'd have to wear very thick socks for my foot to feel snug in this boot. And while the foot is provides a lot of room for making the fit uniquely ones own, the calf dimension is small--too snug for all the thick socks I'd have to wear to make my foot comfortable.

I absolutely love my Moon Boots! They are cute, colorful, comfortable, and, when new, were warm, and dry. I always get a lot of compliments on them. However, they only lasted one winter before the rubber in the heels started wearing off and the soles started flapping as I walked. I glued the flapping soles back together and I still wear them on dry winter days, but they are no longer waterproof so no good for snowy days. If these were more durable, they would be the perfect boot. So sad!

The cushioning under your feet is very comfortable and bouncy when you first start wearing the boots, but it quickly becomes permanently compressed, after which there is essentially no cushioning and the boots are much less comfortable to walk in. In the first winter I had these boots, one of them started leaking and I had to exchange them for new ones (haven't had another winter yet so don't know whether the replacements are going to leak). They're warm and cozy, but not so comfortable to walk in once the cushioning wears out, and the leak would seem to indicate that quality is an issue.

I really want to love these boots, but I have only had them for about a solid month and they are already getting my feet soaked. I generally only wear them into and out of work, so I could not have worn them out all ready, especially when my last pair lasted me over 5 years.

Really no way that the 45/47 size will fit 11-12.5. I'd say at best 10.5. These are a great light (weight) snow boot. All alternatives are much much heavier. Wish they'd make a size slightly larger that would fit 11-12.5.

I am so disappointed by these boots. They are so cute and unique looking but after reading how they fall apart if worn on anything but snow. Apparently these boots do not last more than 3-4 wears when worn on a regular floor. The soles are made of plastic and will crack. This is a major bummer. Also they were much too small compared to other boots.

My daughter wore these boots for two months and wore out the heals. Greatly disappointed for the price I paid.

Didn't last! Bad seams between the rubber and the nylon! Tore very quickly, had them 'repaired' but wet is wet. Very cheaply made. Too bad.

Don't expect good quality or for your feet to stay warm and dry! They LEAK. I ordered a pair and water started seeping in from the bottom of one of the two boots very soon after they arrived. Zappos sent a replacement pair, and one of them also leaked. They feel cushy and snug right when you get them, but the material below your foot that makes them feel that way quickly compresses and doesn't bounce back, such that they soon feel permanently loss and jarring to walk on. For the price they're charging for these boots, this is simply outrageous.

These boots are garbage... I had them 1 month before my feet started getting wet, then 2 weeks later the soles fell off, they are JUNK and WAY over pried. I am a school bus driver in Michigan and spent more money on these boots because I loved them when I was a kid and remember how they kept my feet warm and dry. But these boots are JUNK.

I had a pair of these a long time ago that I bought as "after-ski boots", and I loved them! I was so excited when I saw them online and I immediately ordered a pair. Unfortunately, they don't fit right--the circumference of the top of the boot is too small, so they are too tight around my calf. Also, my heels rise inside them. Too bad, because I really enjoyed my first pair.
