After the first day of wearing my Bearpaws, I noticed in class that the backs of the shoe's rubber were already coming off. The other shoe, however, still had rubber on the back. But the other one had a strip that had already come off.

Great looking boots, although fit a little snug around the calf area with all the padding/fur, even with thin legs. It will be interesting to see how they hold up this winter, as I bought the same ones last year and the bottom heel split after only 2 months of occasional wear!

Not for harsh winters, but cute & warm if you keep them dry. I wanted very much to like these boots. After a snowstorm followed by sub-zero temperatures I found that I had no adequate footwear to withstand such conditions, and decided on these. I ended up having to send them back first and foremost because the calf is too narrow for my leg to fit inside (a common problem for me when fitting tall shoes since I have small, wide feet), but even if they had fit me, I would have thought twice about keeping them because the sole was quite thin (would wear out pretty quickly with regular walking) and they did not look to be even slightly waterproof. On the plus side, the lining was very warm and fuzzy (real sheepskin/wool) and they look cute with jeans. I would not recommend them for wearing outside in lots of ice, snow and slush, but on days when it's just cold outside, or even in the house as slippers, I think they would be adequate.

First, if you decide to buy these boots, make sure you order a size up. I am a size 8, I ordered an 8 boot, but it feels like I’m squeezing into a 7. Second, they are made of suede, but it is very stiff so they are difficult to fold down and they feels like I am wearing a cast around my ankles. I will be sending these back and trying something different.

I like the body of the boot, that's where it stops. The heel of the boot definitely does not hold up to walking. The boots will only be used for one season only. If I can make it through the season. I would expect more. I will never purchase another Bearpaw product ever again. First time last time.
