Waist runs small as all dickies do. Legs are cartoonishly wide. Would opt for regular or relaxed fit 13 inch shorts if they had them in the same colors.

THE ENTIRE BUYING EXPERIENCE WAS BAD. FIRS THEY CANCELED MY ORDER WITH OUT LETTING ME KNOW, I HAD TO CALL AND FIND THAT OUT MYSELF. SECOND THE LADY ON THE PHOTO WAS NOT EVEN POLITE AT ALL. DID NOT TRY TO FIX THE ISSUE. REORDER A PAIR OF SHORT WRONG SIZE, 42 GOT 44. DID NOT HAVE SHE SAID WHAT I WANTED. SO IN A NUT SHELL ALL BAD. I KNOW NOBODY GOING TO CARE OR EVEN READ THIS.

I like the quality but dickies have always ran small that needs to change

I have been wearing the same size and fit of dickie pants and shorts for over a decade and suddenly you decided to just change the fit. 34 waist loose fit has always been my size, I currently have shorts that are about 3 years old that are that size and fit. The shorts I'm writing this review for went back because magically 34 waist loose fit doesnt fit me. I religiously bought pants and shorts from you on a yearly basis up until the last couple years when you decided to change your fit. NEWS FLASH not everyone likes skin tight clothes. You've lost a long time customer over you guys following a trend, thanks a lot

they fit just fine. But one pair the clasp won't fit together to hold them close. Not to happy with that. But I just put a belt on to hold them close

But the last year or so it seams like the size of shorts gets smaller, I have been wearing 38 loose fit 13" inseam over 10 years. And the new ones don't feel like 38"

I bought 5 pairs size 34 because that's what my husband uses and when I saw lose for I thought perfect. Well...they all fit him small and I'm so sad because he wears a size 34 but for some reason these shorts didn't fit. He loves dickies but now we have 5 pairs that he can't wear

I like most of what the shorts have to offer. The only issue is, the waist size seems to be a size too small. I have 36" that feel like 34" and just bought the 38" to hope to fit like a 36" which do, but now the leg is too big. If you could take the waist from the 38" and short length of the 36", it'd be perfect.

The are very tight even for larger sizes I have other pairs of these that fit loosely and are a smaller size may end up returning the other 5 pairs if I can't break in the one pair

Shorts fit well and look good after washing. But, the zipper-pull is too small. It is difficult to open /close zipper with bare hands, impossible with gloves. A larger zipper-pull would be better.

These are really good shorts that will last at least a couple years. They're just really long, so not the best if you if you have to wear knee pads.

Use for work,xtra pocket very useful. I buy navy blue, wish they made other colors in size 60???? Big guys like to style too......

I've been buying dickies shorts for over 5 years. Love the product. My only complaint is I order the same size/style/fit of short each time and they are inconsistent with both the size and the closure type. Sometimes the shirt fits great, the next I can't even come close to fitting In them. Sometimes the close is a button and the next time it will be a clip. Love the dickies products And they are always good about exchanging items that aren't what I was looking for wether it be the size or the closure.

I just got a size too big. Didn't really want to have to pay just to get a size smaller

Bought many shorts from dickies all size 38. This purchase was 38 also but only difference was these have metal clasp instead of button. They would not fit even though they were loose fit. Did not gain weight and other shorts I just purchased fit fine at that size so not sure why these were so tight. Would not buy these again unless I get next size up then they would be to baggy everywhere else. I will stick with relaxed fit cargo shorts that button at waist.

I bought the 13 relaxed fit shorts too long and to tight , unfortunately I'll be send them back Great shorts though and I wear dickie shorts 95% of the time .

I bought the wrong size and as it turned out he didn't like the style. Was for casual wear

Shorts were well made, and I was really excited to get them but they did not fit like I like shorts to fit.

The waist sizes are wildly inconsistent so ordering online is like playing Russian roulette, but they're still the best option around for work clothes.

The shorts are okay but they could be a little more loose in the waist and seat. I'm afraid after I wash them they'll shrink to which I may not be able to wear.

Bought the 15" work shorts in my usual 36" waist and they fit tight more like 34. The 13" work shorts fit perfectly and like other reviews I've read it's disappointing that I have to pay for a return for something outside of my control. Cmon dickie you can do better.

I bought 2 pairs of Loose Fit Multi-Use Pocket Work Shorts size 38 and a size 38 belt. For some reason one of the shorts waits size were different even thou they were both size 38 waist and the belt seemed smaller than size 38. Just not to hassel I kept the items.

They fit well and look good but they are almost like wearing cardboard, eeven after being washed.

They didn't look as voluminous in the ad as they turned out to be in real life. The legs are just huge. I'll probably have to have them altered to a smaller size. I do like the red color I got and the quality of the garment. Just wish the legs weren't so massive.

I bought these shorts to supplement my uniform for work in this hot weather season, the heat with my work involving being outside and in attics in some cases
