The fit is nice. If I had to do it again I'd go with the 11". 13" is a bit too long. Pocket placement isn't ideal but overall great work shorts.

I think I would much rather had relaxed fit instead of loose fit the legs are a little big but they are wonderful shorts and do the job I needed to do plenty of pockets to separate things thanks for making me shorts

I bought 2 pair ofthese for my Fiance' and he loves them, fits true to size.

Its hot hear in AZ. The shorts I got from Dickies keep me as cool as can be.

I bought these shorts for my son,he wears the blk dickies for work at a nursing home in the kitchen.These i thought would be much cooler in a hot kichten erea,but they were too baggy in the legs,almost like a skirt.The quality was really great though ,what u would expect from dickies brand.sadly sent them back for a refund,hopefully they will make straight leg shorts that are a bit longer as well!

I bought 3 pair of these shorts. They fit well in the waiste and thighs. The length of the shorts seemed longer than 13". I need to get them hemmed. Very rugged, durable shorts. I will buy them again.

We bought these for a particular 'uniform' as a stroke and turn official for swim league. They are definitely heavy duty. So stiff when they first arrived, we washed then 5 times with a salt/fabric softener combo until they were more comfortable. They did not fade at all after this many washings.

Good fit. Durable. Comfortable. Wear resistant. Stylish.

Although these shorts are longer than I imagined, I will keep them and have them altered. They are still great quality for the money. There isn't a lot of choice in a good price range for big men. Not crazy about the "Dickie's" logo on them.

The only shorts I buy for my maintenance crew, they love them!

The cell phone pocket is ideal for iphone 6 in case. I love the room in the legs! I blow the seams out in the relaxed fit overtime, but the extra room in the loose fit is ideal. I do find the pockets to be too shallow and my change falls out when i sit.

Love how they fit, comfortable, good length. My only issue is that it takes a few washes to work the stiffness out of them.

Now I have them in the color I needed for work. Could not be happier.

I bought these for casual wear. However, they are a little long for my tastes. I would love to see them in 11" inseam for big guys like me. Plus, the waist size seems to be a little small.

These shorts are great. I personally like the way the relaxed shorts fit, better than the loose fit. I only wish the relaxed fit had the same vast color selection. Regardless, I have 10 pairs of Dickies shorts, I wear them for all occasions

The shorts are great, but why can't you over the other colors like you used to??

These fit small i ordered a size 30 and i couldnt even put it on while my other dickies double knee pants that are also waist 30 those fit well

Good quality but I want to return/exchange and it's so difficult.

I have a 36 inch waist, so I ordered 36. They came in and were impossibly small. So I ordered 38 and barely got them on. Keep that in mind when ordering. You may need 2-4 inches more than they claim to be.

There's really nothing that's loose fit about them. I have jeans that are one size smaller and they fit fine. These shorts are too tight. Also, the legs are a bit long - not saying that the length was advertised wrong, just be aware.
