I bought pants a size up expecting a comfort fit... they were snug as can be with no give.

I was very excited to purchase these pants since I am huge fan of Dickies, however these pants did not fit at all. The measurements on the tags were right, but the waist was no where near my measurement. This might of been a production issue, but I also notice on the reviews that there were some customer complaints about the waist being way too small. So this is what I am going to do with my pants, I am not going to return them, I will donate them to people who are less fortunate and who really need clothes. But this will be the last time because I cannot afford to throw money away, so now in the mean time I'm going to take a break on ordering online.

I have bought these work pants in other colors before and they were perfect. My company wants us to change to black. The black one that I tried has a sewing run on the right upper legs close to the crotch. Will not wear these anymore. I am worried that the run will separate while working.

Way to small for size ordered, they must be using euro sizes, not American !

I ordered these for work and I ordered a 32 waist, and it ended up being 22 inches in the waist with a tag that said 32. Not sure what happened there.

Every time you buy 874s it's a gamble on what kind of fit you're going to get. Since they're made in several different countries they all are produced with different specs, which means you can buy the same size but depending on the color the fit will be different. I've known which colors fit me better and that used to work, but recently I've been finding the fit is way off with those too. The quality has gotten worse over time as well. The pants fall apart and fade faster, and shrink more even when washed in cold water and air dried. I recently bought two pairs to replace some old ones and both fit poorly compared to the older pants. The navy pair I bought has a double crease line in the right leg as well. I didn't notice this until after I had worn them, so I can't return them, but that's something else to look out for now I guess.

Bought my son a bigger size because reviews said sizes ran small and it was still tight. Sizes are totally inaccurate.

I bought these pants for my husband and he went work with in 3 days later the bottom left side is using up will not be buying dickies work pants again

Pants length were still long for 30 pants were still big for 46

Bought these pants at the size I normally wear and I couldn't even get them on. The material was rough and didn't feel soft. Not impressed with them. It was like the where 4 sizes too small

I bought these pants a month ago and sent them back the next day and still waiting on my refund. I order the waist a size larger than normal. They were at least two sizes too small and they were marked what I ordered very disappointed.

A size to small, can't wear, can't exchange or pay for return shipping.

I want a pair of pants that fit. They are a size 40 waist according to the tag but they are the smallest size 40 waist I have ever received.

Wore the 874 work pants for a day, and stitches came undone at zipper.

Purchased two pair 32 in. waist in Taupe in my husband's normal size. Something wrong with the cut of both pairs. Actual size of waist band correct and same as 6 other pairs my husband has in navy or grey. One pair of these, he couldn't get the zipper up. The second pair, he couldn't even get up over his hips. Not the cut and fit we've come to expect from Dickies Original 874 Work Pant, which has always been his go-to work pant choice.

they're not the right size when they say it is bought 36/34 and its small in size

Too tight, Will return those week. And look at another source.

Purchased on-line. Material is very harsh. Put them in the washing machine solo to hopefully soften the material to no avail. Went directly to the trash can.

Every single pair of pants I've worn in the last 20 years has been a 38x32. But not Dickies. I buy 2 pair, ones so tight I can't button them the other ones barely close. Both say 38" waist. But fit completely different. I'll be sending them back.....

I ordered the pants a size bigger than needed and they were still almost an entire size too small . just awful and to return them in exchange just isnt worth my time I wont be ordering again .

They fit super tight! I am a 36 in the waist in any pant, but couldnt even get thw zipper up on these.

These fit so tight for the same size I have order in other brands that fit perfect.

The only reason I bought these pants were for work, and I was not very happy with the quality

I purchased these as part of a uniform for a new job. I purchased another pair of DICKIES at a thrift store while waiting for these and those fit well. When the 874s arrived, I was disappointed to find that they were tight around the waite.. perhaps a size too small. Washed to to see if it would relax the fit any, but it did not help. Maybe they will fit if I lose a little weight. I would recommend buying the next larger size. At least you can take them up a little if they don't fit.
