I bought these pants for work and they real well except around the waist, however that's my fault I ordered according to the size I had on, now my new dickies tite.

Its very hard to find pants that accomodate my 6 ft 8 husband that are affordable, but Dickies never fails. As a warehouse manager, he loves the 874 Work Pants for their durability, yet professional appearance. My only complaint is that in his size, they only come in 3 colors.

I've been wearing 874s for years now, for everyday wear until they are no longer presentable (takes awhile) and then as knock-abouts until they're finally unwearable (takes a lot longer). Always khaki until now when I splurged and brought navy, brown and a couple of new khakis. My old 874s are still in the closet as standbys when I have really dirty work to do. I shopped online this time because I could not find my fit in any local retail outlets. Quick delivery at good prices. The only disappointments in these 874 are trivial but still... anyway, there. One: the front closure, a modified hook and loop, is prone to coming open at inopportune moments, especially if there is any slack in the waistband. Very minor nit, I know, as is an issue with the belt loops. The belt loops are designed, I think, for an inch and quarter belt at most. My belts are all inch and a half full leather and the belts fit through the loops, but only with difficulty. Where the belt passes through the buckle and laps back through it is a struggle for two layers of belt in the loop. These pants are my absolute favorite casual wear, and i expect will be for awhile to go. Jim Bussey

I have purchased multiple pairs of these pants in all the colors and think they are just awesome. Super durable but still look good with a dress shirt.

I have always wore Dickies and always will for now

I bought these for everyday wear. I really like the good looks, the cotton/poly fabric and their sturdy construction. These pants will last and last. I do wish they were available in slim fit.

I bought the pants a few weeks ago a little tight in the crouch but the right length maybe need to get a size bigger

I buy these pants for work, but had to return the khaki color and get a smaller size than the black... so be careful with that. I always order a size bigger in dickies but haven't had two colors be a problem before!

This style is a savior for my work uniform. My only disappointment is one pair came with discolaration on the front thighs.. I'm hoping it will wash away. Otherwise I expect both pairs to last for beyond the year!

They fit well & do not restrict movement. These pants are replacements for (2) pair I purchased in 2011 which are still serviceable, but time to be retired. I wear them about every day.

So, apparently Dickies is the only company which makes affordable, non-denim, work pants with a 28" inseam. Which makes my selections limited. They are a good pair of pants, just a little tight in the front.

I ordered 2 pairs of the 874 pants, I wear 36/29 when I tried the Dickies on they were about 3 sizes too small, I went to a store to try on 38/29 they were too small, now I have to go to 40/29, I have never purchased Dickies before is this normal.

I ordered two pair of these pants and have worn and washed one pair so far. The wash did not cause any shrinkage so happy about that. Cons: Belt loops won't allow the larger belts to be worn. The size listed is smaller than normal.Example: I wear a size 40 pant but ordered size 42 thinking they might shrink some, well, the size 42 is the same size as all my size 40 pants so if the pants ever shrink I won't be able to wear them. All in all a good pair of pants.

Typically wear W33L30. Previous set ran small & were a rather tight fit. This time, I ordered W34L30 & they fit perfectly. Delivery was timely, no issues.

Nothing beats Dickies! Classic, fashionable, durable, and affordable.

Work pants gr8, the belt loops are smaller, need to buy a thinner belt

Good for ever day wear. Made well fits well and the colors are useful.

I have had my 840 ' s about 2 months . They are nice in appearance but very heavy sizing even after 2 washings. It would be nice also to have belt loops that are a bit narrower.

I purchased two pair of the 874 pants and they are of good quality. The only problem was the size. I ordered size 42 so they would be loose on me and their size 42 is the same size as my other pants that are size 40. I just hope they don't shrink or I will be in trouble since they are already tight on me. My size 40 pants are tight and that is why I ordered size 42. I would like the pants to be higher waist.

Looks good for work and professional fits well and feel comfortable and it's a great price

Great value! These pants last forever. You need to wash them 4-5 times to soften them up and get rid of the smell (is that embalming fluid?), but after that they are fine

They are comfortable I have been using them for about a year now and affordable!!

my recommendation is if he will a size 58 or 60 get at least two sizes bigger than what you wear these pants do runs very small but other than that they are really good pants
