The shoe itself is quite unique. There isn’t a tongue. Very comfortable!!

Excellent shoes

I've been wearing this brand for over 10 years and this shoe is my favorite by far. Comfortable, durable, and best is the tongueless design. TY Globe!

My 65 year old husband loves his skate shoes. He says they are the most comfortable shoe he's ever worn. With all of the thick padding around the collar and tongue he says his feet feel like they're encased in a firm gripping pillow. He can wear them for 12 hours or more and has no foot pain or foot fatigue. And unlike regular athletic shoes (which he chews through in about 6 months and they look totally shot and need to be replaced) with these being tripled stitched and a double toe cap they won't be wearing out anytime soon. I think we've finally found the "holy grail" of shoes for him. Elderly men are missing the boat. These shoes offer more comfort, padding and style than the normal "support" soft shoes elderly men normally choose for seeking support and comfort that look like old man shoes.

I had bought a pair of Globes online, a few years ago, and so I chose the same size for this new pair as I did for the old pair. Perhaps, it was my fault and I should have picked a half size larger. When I first got them, I had a lot of trouble getting them on my feet. So, I froze a half bag of water inside them for a night and that seemed to stretch them out enough that they fit great. I just wore them for a full day at work, where I am on my feet all day and they felt good all day. They look great and they are perfect for my job(s). I will definitely be buying Globes in the future. I would suggest that having a tiny little strap on the heel might be helpful in pulling them on more easily. I have arthritis, so I need that extra help.

Fits great feels great awesome pair of shoes ...expensive but worth it

Love these shoes! Super comfortable. This is probably at least the 6th pair that iv bought over the years. Had an issue with one of the pair of laces, but customer support took care of that.

These are possibly the best shoe ever made. If you have flat wide feet like me, try them. You will not be disappointed a promise you. Comfortable right out of the box. I hope globe never stops making them.

Globes are the best, love them. I have big feet, hate how they can look clownish, Globe shoots have a short looking toe box, makes my feet look normal, not freakish. Thank u for that.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THESE GLOBE SABRE SHOES!!!! THEY ARE SLIP ON JUST BE AWARE!!!! I Loved The Look, The Feel, The Color, The Style & Arch Support Of These Shoes. I Unfortunately Ordered A Size Or A Half Size Smaller Than I Should Have (I Usually Wear A Size 12-13 Depending On The Brand Of The Shoe.) I Unfortunately Had To Return These & I Ordered An AWESOME PAIR OF SHOES & AS ALWAYS ZAPPOS CUSTOMER SERVICE, ZAPPOS 1-2 DAY DELIVERY & QUALITY & SATISFACTION WAS GREATLY APPRECIATED WITH BOTH THE RETURNED PAIR OF SHOES & THE NEW SHOES!

I thought they fit great I’ve always Liked CLUB skate shoes they just don’t make too many in White

Getting back into riding after 30+ years during the COVID pandemic quarantining. I have 4E wide (think of Frodo from LOTR) feet with an exceptionally high/tall midfoot that stays high/tall/beefy all the way to the ankle connection. Getting shoes that fit my abnormal feet has been a difficulty my entire life. I cannot wear vans, converse, typical nikes off the shelf, etc. These Globe Sabre's are great for somebody like me; they are wide and fat in the right spots allowing me to get my gargantuan feet inside, but have enough shoelace eyelets that I can tighten it all neatly around my feet. These Sabre's provide solid traction, comfort, style (I got the black with red and camo accents) and I cannot recommend them highly enough... either as a skate shoe or just a shoe- shoe.

Had to return them because there was too much heel lift ,even with the laces cranked.
