Believe the reviews! I thought maybe the praise for these boots was exaggerated, but it's not. I suggest long socks when you first wear them, but other than being a little snug around the ankle, they are comfortable right away! Also, they're really light in weight even though they have a protective toe kick and thick soles. Expensive, but worth it for someone who works in a food manufacturing facility.

Best pair of boots I have owned by far. They are comfortable, rugged, and all with style! I searched a long time for a nice comfortable pull-on boot to keep my feet dry in the winter and I have found it.

Bought these for my BF, and he loves them. Says they're extremely comfortable and he does a lot of walking around the city. Only thing is that the brown really does look like black (except the fabric part).

Quality made shoe. My problem was they never stopped digging into my ankle. I wore them with thick socks for months because I wanted to love them, but they never broke in enough to stop hurting my ankle. Definitely go to there website to learn about Australian sizing before ordering.

These boots are my go-to boot for first working, gardening, and then casual wear. They are more utility than cute, but still stylish. My last pair lasted 8 years and could have kept going if my kittens had not attacked the elastic. My last pair also very waterproof, walked for hours in a foot of snow, totally dry. Hope these are just as quality. Love these boots—and I have a narrow heel, wide front foot, medium arch. They are a bit stiff to begin, then fit like a glove.

Fit perfectly and good quality

I had this boot previously and finally wore it out. My wife encouraged me to get a second pair and I will for sure keep it in my closet. Wider toe box, water resistant and soft sole for comfort. Ever look good on a casual night out.

I ordered these boots in a size 9, big mistake too big. I got in touch with customer service and they couldn’t be more accommodating. They mailed a new pair in an 81/2 and I was truly happy with the fit. These boots are well made and very comfortable.

I have some foot and back problems and these boots are very comfortable for me to stand in for a lot of my workday. I find myself wearing them to work almost every day now just based on how much better my feet and back feel when I do. Not a super amount of arch support but I have very low arches and they work well for me. I love them.

These are the best boots on the planet. They need a bit of time to adjust to my feet but then they are perfect for everyday wear, and I mean every day Fall to Spring. They look good with trousers, jeans and skirts. I keep two pairs always one for the fields and barn and one for dress up.

I have worn Blundstone boots for over 20 years and still love them. One reason is that they have a wide toe box due to the construction of the bumper. This is great for most feet. I wear them for outdoor wear in every time of year. Even in hot weather they are durable and really do protect against rain/wet with occasional boot treatment when needed. When the heals become worn and I replace them with a new set, the old set goes into the garage for further extreme duty for mechanical and construction work. The tops never seem to wear out but the sole finally gets less comfortable as the heal grinds down. The tops still look good when I finally toss them in the trash.

Bummer loved the but HUGE. As in a whole size too big. Normally I wear a 9.5 - 10 womens shoe. I ordered the 10 as it's a boot and I'd like to wear heavy socks and use my customs insoles. (the foot bed is removable). I have my fingers crossed the smaller size is available. Thank you Zappos for making this so easy.

These boots have been amazing. I am a vet tech in a large animal clinic and have been wearing these boots for over a year of being on my feet for long hours on a hard floor. They are as comfortable as you can expect in a boot that also provides protection from horse hooves. They have remained waterproof and the leather is still in good shape even after constant exposure to water, cleaners and disinfectants. And this is with little to no extra care on my part. (I used the sample conditioner that came with the boots once.) I have also worn these boots outside in mud and muck plenty of times. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 US and the Aussie 5.5 was the right length for me. I do wish they were slightly wider so I will be ordering a wide for my next pair. The boots did stab me in the heel initially, but it only took a few days to soften up. Definitely worth the price!

Great boots for kitchen work. They do not slip, and have great shock absorption. The toe design is a little ugly, but functional.

This is a high quality, solid boot that will last for many, many years. There are a few pressure points to get used to at first but otherwise very comfortable. Very dark brown, almost look black.

I love the style of these boots but they were a little too wide for me(I have narrow feet) and the leather at the ankle is very stiff and uncomfortable. If you're willing to wear heavy socks and wait for the leather to break in, you'll have a really great boot!

I have been wearing Blundies for approximately 20 years and I love them. They fit my feet like gloves with no breakin in time. I work daily on my Arabian Horse Farm and my blundies are very waterproof and I ride in them almost daily. These are my first pair of 490's and they are great! I have always worn 500 and 510. The 490 has a slightly chunkier luck with a more square-ish toe. It could be a touch heavier boot, as well. With the thicker squarish toe I don't know how they will be as a riding boot, but they are my favorite work boots around the farm and they look great with jeans when you go about off the farm. On the sizing, it can be confusing, yet Zappos has it made easy with their size chart conversions.

At first a little tight at the ankles, but the more I wear them the better they feel. I have a pair of Blundstone Steel toe boots as well. I won't wear anything else.

A friend from Germany turned me on to these boots, they are all he wears and I have to agree they are great!! I ordered my size and at first I thought they might be oversized but after an evening wearing them they are perfect. The fit is a bit looser than you might expect with a slip on but they stay put and feel great. I will be getting another pair soon. Also this was my first Zappos experience and I am a fan.

It's really difficult to find a women's work boot--or in this case, a men's work boot that works as well for the ladies as for the gent. I walk miles, stand on concrete and muck around stalls and pastures. These boots have held up really well and don't make my feet tired like other boots. They're comfy and strong. The leather is really tough at first (I don't see this as a sign of poor quality--just durability) --it takes a good couple of break-ins to make the top of the boot not bruise your shin.
