Love the boots, how they look and how they feel once they are on my feet. My only complaint is they are the devil to get on and off.

I have not worn these in the rain or snow yet, so this review is just about fit. I'm a women's US 7 and initially ordered the AU 4.5 because that converted to a US 7 and because I read that the half size provides more width. The AU 4.5 was way too big and I had about 1" room in the toe. I returned for the AU 3.5 and it fit perfectly. I have wide feet with bunions so I was concerned that this style would be too narrow for me but so far they have enough room to not squeeze my wide feet. The boot opening is pretty narrow for me however, but I have larger calves so it might not be a problem for you. I hope Blundstone comes out with a version with a lower shaft for people with larger calves. The style of this boot is a little clunky as well, so I'm glad I got this chisel toe model instead of the regular 500s.

Others have said it but it bears repeating: if you are a man, order an AU size TWO full sizes smaller than your US size. If you are a woman, order an AU size TWO AND A HALF sizes smaller than your US size. By measurement I am a US 11, and am wearing an 8.5 AU Blundstone.

Great boot. Great look. Really wanted this baby to work but just too wide for my foot and had to return.

I am returning because they are clunky, stiff and heavy looking with big soles, look like outdoor rain gear. I think they look like men's boots. Fit is generous and as sized. They have no cushioning lining whatsoever and I feel the left heel leather rubbing.

This is a very nice inexpensive waterproof boot. It is very plain style, comfortable, true to size, and uninsulated. It is very casual. It is good for snow, rain, and mud. It cleans up good. It's not worth any more then current price.

These are great boots. Not as dressy as you might want, but they are great for Casual Friday when paired with khakis or a great pair of jeans. Works for the office or out for a night at the movies. Definitely use the size chart to select the right size as these are not made in U.S. shoe sizes. If you need orthotics, it seems you might want to go up a half size. Some of the people that have noticed the boots comment on them that they look "different, but cool". Can't finish my review without talking about Zappos service. I ordered the boots and did not select expedited delivery, yet they were at my door in just a couple of days. Thanks for the great service.

Boot beautiful leather and styling, but I think i prefer the clunky Classic 500. Also this boot has a very narrow ankle opening and no zipper, so difficult to don. Would have kept if there were a zip. Thank you Zappos!

I am a 7.5 or 8 in shoes. I ordered the 8 and they were too big. I returned them. Oddly, I ordered the classic in an 8 which were a different style and they fit perfectly.

After all the research and reviews I thought these were going to be top-quality boots. I pulled them out of the box and already noticed some bad stitching work. When I put them on they were too big, which is okay, but nothing about the boot really wants me to order a size down from my original size 8 that I ordered. I actually think my Dr. Martens are much better quality than these boots and more comfortable. I am bummed because I was so excited about these!

The shoe came with a previous owners foot bed pad. It was kind of gross but I kept them.

It said to size down (a 7.5 AU is a 8.5 USA), but this boot is very loose after just a few days of wear. I feel like you should size up a half size rather than a full size. I wore these in the snow so I don't think they can be returned. As for quality these are great boots. They are easy to get on, and the leather is very nice and soft. You can tell this is a quality boot which is to be expected for the price.

Have to return them. The last pair of boots I bought a month ago fits great! This model does not.

Wanted to like them. From reading reviews from others, I figured this was a no brainer and I liked the look, style and brand reputation of Blundstone. Once I received them and got them out of the box I found quality problems. To start with, the molded soles have unsightly flash left on the very front of both boots. Something you see in cheap Chinese shoes. Kind of like a web of plastic rubber that either shouldn't have been there or should have been addressed by the manufacturer. Once I slipped them on, there was a annoying hard blob inside where my big toes was. Probably a big glob of hard glue from the assembly process. I tried to use my fingernail to pull off, but it didn't want to come off and was awkward and almost pulled my finger nail off. I figured I'd get a tool or screw driver and pry it off. Didn't work. So, overlooking the quality issues, I wore them for 1/2 day, put up with the hard blob and tried to like them. Expecting a sturdy, secure feel, I was surprised on how my foot felt like it was unsupported. The mix of the thin sole and soft "vibration damping" thermoplastic material did not give my foot a good feeling. I felt like there was nothing between my foot and the floor. Kind of spongy, but not in a good way. This pair of new boots are packed up and are on their way back to Zappos for a refund. Zappos is great for shipping, delivery, returns and I will probably take a chance on another pair, but definitely not a Blundstone.

Quality boot. Would have liked to love them but was to hard to get on and off

Great boots, for urban hiking! I’ve walked the length and breadth of New York, New Orleans and L.A. in these boots! They gave up the ghost after nearly a decade of wear in all seasons. The soles curiously cracked on both at the same time but the heels were still in good shape. Not exactly waterproof, I but very water resistant. Good for rain, not standing in a puddle. (I got a little seepage walking through a stream of rainwater, off a curb) Warm in winter with wool socks, and yet cool enough in summer with lighter socks.

These are great boots. I was looking for Chelsea boots forever. They feel stiff and tight over the bridge of the foot at first, but wear in after about 3 days.

This is my second pair of the Blundstone dress. Very happy with them. I have plantar fasciitis and bunions (fun!) and with my orthotics, I do well in these, even after a long day. The only shoe more comfortable is a sneaker. I still wear my first pair which are five years old, but wanted a pair that hadn't lost its square toe.

This chelsea boot is fantastic. It took a few tries to get the fit right due to European sizing and my large feet. But they are solid and beautiful boots!

The best shoes ever

These are very comfortable boots. I can even get them on and off with one hand.

These are the best boots for life in the country. They double for dress and field. I wear my three pairs from September to May. Sizing, however, is hit-or-miss. I'm between 11.5 and 12 US sizes, but I often have to order what's supposedly a US 10 because the 12 is like wearing clown shoes.

I wear these all the time. They are such a great all around boot that can be dressed up or down. If a need a waterproof shoe in the winter, and am worried about ruining a dressier pair, I wear these. They are so sturdy and last for years. I had my last pair for over 20 years - in fact I still wear them for working in the yard as they're not as good looking as these. Highly recommend.
