This is my first pair of ballet slippers, purchased for a beginner adult ballet class once a week. They are super comfortable & I was fortunate enough to get the size right on my first try. Yay! I wear a size 6 & got a size 3.5. Great quality. Very pleased.

I love these shoes! These are the first ballet shoes that I can really feel the floor with and feel the ball of my foot and toes in a natural position. They are so comfortable. I am a 9½ normally and a size 7 is perfect for me with these. My only complaint is a small one - there is more bunching with these shoes than in other ballet slippers that I have tried however I am wearing them for class and I do not care so much as long as they fit well and work for me. You can also toss them in the wash now and then to keep them clean and fitted.

These are my favorite ballet shoes! I love feeling my feet on the floor and these shoes really allow your foot to move, toes to spread, and they are snug without feeling stiff. My balance is better and my feet work better. I will always come back to these!

I have been amazed at Zappos service and prices. Everything arrived within a two or three days of clicking the order button. When I add a question, it was answered quickly through email. No shipping costs, including for returns? I'd never heard of such a thing! The return process was so easy - I printed the return label through the Zappos site, slapped it on the original box, dropped it at a UPS store and off it went. Within three or four days, the credit was already in my account! If everybody learned about service from Zappos, the world would be a happier place. For example, I have a return to send to Factory Outlet for a defective battery. Despite the defect, they want to charge a 15% restocking fee plus subtract the shipping cost for the defective product to be sent to me, AND I have to pay to return it. Wow. Look at the difference in policies. Too bad I can't buy everything I need from Zappos!

My daughter wears these in her ballet class. She loves them. We have had leather ballet shoes - both Capezio and Bloch, but she prefers these cloth ones for class and to practice at home. Eventually the toes we are through because the material is soft but the price is great so it doesn't really matter. Great shoes!

This is a terrific slipper. I have painful bunions but with this slipper, I never feel any pressure. The shoe fits perfectly and it's great to have the straps pre-sewn. It makes my arch look good, too. I just love these shoes! They fit like the proverbial glove. I take 3 ballet classes per week and would be lost without these slippers.

I love these ballet shoes; I'm about to order a second pair. They are comfortable and functional. I wear a 6.5 street shoe (I have very wide feet.) and 3 D in these is perfect for me.

Simply put these are fantastic ballet slippers. I love the fact that they do not have any annoying laces. Also note that Zappos has great service and they arrived sooner than expected.

When I signed up for an adult ballet class, I decided to take a risk and buy some ballet slippers online. I have a pair of leather Bloch slippers from 15+ years ago that were just too narrow for my feet. Based on the sizing on those, I went with the 3.5C. (Street size 6-6.5). Remember, ballet shoes are anywhere from 2-3 sizes smaller than your street size. I've since taken three classes and the canvas shoe is much more comfortable than my old leather slipper! The added width really helps my toes grip the floor. Risk: panned out.

I purchased these ballet shoes for my granddaughter who was at the Joffrey Ballet School this July. The were the shoes most recommended. She loved everything about them.

I love this ballet slipper. It has soft flat elastic all around so it does not dig into your heel. The crisscross elastics are already sewn on which is a huge plus. I ordered 3 sizes below my regular street shoe size but still needed to go a half size smaller and even then have a little bit of room in the back of the shoe. The split sole has nice padding in the ball of the foot where you need it. Love Bloch shoes!

I do not know how these other reviewers managed to order their correct size the first time. Based on the other reviews, I ordered a 4C since my street size is a 6-6½. I have been wearing canvas Capezios but liked this style better. I do not consider myself to have wide feet anywhere except in ballet. These shoes were so uncomfortably tight! The length was not bad, but the elastic cut off my circulation and was not nearly wide enough. I returned them immediately and ordered both a 5 and 5½ in width D. We will see if they are a better fit. I would say only order if you are familiar with your correct Bloch size. Ordering a full 2-3 sizes down from your street size does not seem accurate to me.
