I go to Dance Trance several times a week, it is my main cardio workout. Dance Trance is like a jacked up Zumba, encompassing all genres of music and incorporating all styles of dance. My regular cross trainers were light and flexible for this class (on wooden floors), but moves such as pirouettes and grapevines were difficult to do because of the traction of the soles. I first purchased another brand's dance shoe (Nike Musique), and was not thrilled with them so I am sending them back. They are bulky and do not seem to provide enough support. I read all of the reviews for these shoes and decided to give them a shot. I could not be more pleased! I just got back from my first class wearing them and I am hooked. It did take a little getting used to the lack of traction, but practice will help that, and I think it will actually help my legs muscles control my movements better. Pirouettes and similar moves were very easy and I felt like I was gliding. The shoes fit beautifully. I wear a size 8 and ordered a size 9 per the other reviews and they are perfect. They are very comfortable, provide excellent arch support. It almost feels like I am wearing ballet flats with arch support. I highly recommend these shoes.

I've had two knee surgeries for a torn ACL and a meniscus repair and I was looking for a pair of shoes that would let me continue to do Zumba. I tried the Nike Musique's but they were too sticky on the dance floor and I had to take them off about 15 minutes into Zumba class. So I returned them for these instead. There shoes are great! They offer enough grip on the back and sides of the shoes that I feel very safe and secure when doing squatting moves, but they offer a very low resistance for pivoting and turning as well. I used these for the whole class and my knee was still happy after an hour of Zumba. The split sole takes some getting used to though. It is slightly uncomfortable until you get used to it.

Perfect for Jazzercise! Great arch support. Buy one size larger than your normal shoe size.

Love them! After becoming a Zumba fanatic, I wanted the best dance shoes and these are them! As others have said, yes, the size does run small. I didn't believe them at first, thinking all women would like to pretend their feet are smaller than they really are, but nope, they were telling the truth. You will need to go 1/2 to full size up. I usually wear a 7 and got the 7 1/2. It still is a tad snug, so if you want room, you should go a full size. They are light and turning is a breeze on the floor. Plus they look cool!

This is a great shoe for Zumba, but I do it on carpet over hardwood. The shoe is lightweight, flexible, and supportive. I think the key to Zumba is to be light on your feet which allows you to use your hips/body, minimizing stress to the knees. Other Zumba favorites felt stiff and bulky. I usually wear a 6½, but needed a 8 in these.

Great for Marley (vinyl dance) floors! I really love these for Zumba and other dance classes because there is a great material on the pivot spot - no drag, which helps the knees alot. Very comfortable and supportive, too. I followed others' reviews here on sizing, which worked out. Very flexible - Love them! A little slick for wooden floors; there I prefer the Nike Musique.

I ordered two pair of these sneakers. One a half size larger and the other a whole size larger than my normal shoe size. The half size larger was the best fit for me. The shoe is very comfortable and works perfect for Zumba. I am very pleased with the shoe and with Zappos!

I am normally a 6.5 and after reading the reviews, I decided to try my normal shoe size first and go from there. The 6.5 was too small, so I ordered a 7.0 and a 7.5. Both the 7.0 and the 7.5 fit comfortably with light weight fitness socks, but I ended up returning the 7.5 because that size had a little extra room in the toe area. Now that I’ve found the size that works the best for me, I love the shoes and have recommended them to others.

Design was comfortable even though my feet are not narrow and this is definitely a narrow shoe. I'm between a 6 and a 6.5 street shoe and I ordered a 7.5 and it fit well.

Got these for Zumba class, the midsection of my foot hurt during class, not sure if they are the best shoe for Zumba. By the way, I wear a 6 or 6 1/2 and had to order an 8! The first try never fit.

I needed a more flexible shoe for twisting and foot movements in my Zumba class. Insofar as studio/dance shoes, the sole of this shoe seems more flexible than, for example, some of the studio shoes made by Nike. It is very easy to do the twisting moves in my Zumba class, and the shoe really "wraps" around my foot (almost as an extension of my own foot). My shoe size is in between a 7 and 7.5, and I ordered an 8 (per previous recommendations regarding sizing), and the size 8 fit very well with thin socks. I am not thrilled with the appearance, but, hey, I bought it for function.

This is a more comfortable shoe than the Bloch DRT Boost Mesh Sneaker. Tried these for Zumba, but I'm not sure that the split sole is really good for high arches and knee pain, as it doesn't provide necessary support. Will be trying Ryka, Asics, Earth, and Orthofeet. I wear a street shoe size 10, and this in an 11 fits fine. If you don't have serious foot or knee pain, then definitely try these shoes!

Okay, I just came back from zumba work out with happy face because of these shoes. I was not dancing, I was flying on the carpet floor, felt so light so wonderful. Never ever had this experience because I thought that wearing athletic shoes is more cool and they have a nicer design. But after sending back Asics, Ryka, Nike I finally gave and decided to listen to professional dancers and they were right. You do not feel that you wearing something but you feel that you can do anything in these shoes. Hopefully they will remain comfortable to my feet 100 next zumba work outs. Best thing that right after I put them on the pain of my foot ball (upper) disappear. Thanks.

I use these shoes for line dancing and Zumba and found them to be very comfortable. They took a little getting used to - I had to find the sweet spot for pivoting etc. After a few times wearing them I was very happy. Runs small: I got an full size larger that street shoe.

Great feeling shoe! I've yet to use them in a class but I like the feel of them on. At first I was hesitant about no middle since I have a high arch, but these shoes literally hug and support your mid-foot, and provide good pivot control. I've talked to several people from cheerleaders to dancers to more who have loved these shoes for years. I'm sold! They do run small though, as it seems all dance shoes do.

I love these shoes. They're not only very lightweight and super comfortable, they have a split sole that's great for Zumba / dancing.

First let me say that Zappos hands down has the best customer service. I bought these for Zumba and they are working out great! The slide when you need them to (wooden floors in the gym) and still have enough grip to keep you from slipping. I usually wear a 6.5 shoe, 7-7.5 sneaker and kept the size 8 in these. The 7.5 was too small. I will probably get an insole for some extra cushioning in the front part of the shoe, but other than that these are perfect! Nice snug fit around your foot. Would definitely recommend for anyone doing dance aerobics/Zumba.

I love these shoes! They are lightweight, very comfortable and sleeker than other dance sneaker styles. I usually wear 8.5 but ordered these in 9.5 and they were just right. I have worn Capezio dance sneakers before, but find these to be more comfortable.

I love these shoes! I usually wear an 8 1/2 but ordered the 10 based on other reviews. They're a little roomy, but feel great! I use them for my zumba classes. They really allow for the dance moves, and my knees don't ache like they used to with the Nike Musique's. They're a little slippery on some of the vinyl floors, but otherwise they're awesome. Would definitely recommend.

I received my Bloch dance sneakers and love the way they feel on my feet for Zumba. No more knee and ankle pain for those the regular crosstrainers I was wearing. I suggest as others have...go 1 1/2 sizes larger.

I tried on lots of dance sneakers, and this was the most comfortable. It runs small though. I wear a size 7 or 7 1/2 street shoe, an 8 or 8 1/2 running shoe, and a 9 in this.

These dance sneakers are very comfortable and are working out well for my Zumba class. They glide across the carpet making it easier to twist without injury. I normally wear an 8 1/2, but had to go up to a size 10 to fit in length. They do run small. I have high arches and find that the arch support is very good. As always Zappos is the best in customer service.

I was looking for a shoe that allows more freedom of movement than a traditional cross trainer for taking a Zumba class. I fell in love with these. I want to wear them all the time!

I am a Zumba instructor and wear these for every class! I have tried 4-5 other styles of shoes and these are the best for me by far. Excellent pivot points. I was skeptical of the arch support, but it is great, too! Perfect for those that dance regularly. They do run a size to a size and half smaller than street shoes - order several pairs up front to decide what size you need.
