I think these shoes would be comfortable if they were as big as the size indicated. I have a different pair of Naot sandals labeled the same size (40 med) that are noticeably longer than these were. These sandals also felt narrower than a medium. I like the level of arch support (Birkenstocks have such a high arch support that they are uncomfortable for me to wear).

They hurt my feet. Simple yet uncomfortable.

problem with leather. too stiff and would be rubbing me raw in no time up near the front strap in particular. Adjusting didn't help because then shoes were too big.

This is the second pair that I ordered. The first (snake skin) fits great and feels comfortable and supportive. I love it so much that I ordered another pair in white. Although it's the exact same size, make and model, this pair is longer, wider, less cushioned and very uncomfortable. It's hard to understand how Naot can make two different pairs of the same sandal so entirely different. The white pair is going back.

Birkenstock without the Birk. Made a noise when I walked. materials a bit cheap. Sent these back.

I was so excited to see that Naot had made a show like the Birkenstocks that my friends wear. Since I have a narrow foot, Birks don't fit quite right. This Naot Santa Barbara was poorly designed in that the sole doesn't flex whatsoever!!!! Stiff as a board.

Wrong size was shipped. Ordered 39 but 41 was shipped.

I was disappointed after trying two different pairs of this shoe, especially b/c Birkenstocks no longer make an adult 34 (I'm a small size 5 with wide feet and a broken toe that could've used a similar style). The length was good on the Naot 34s but the first pair had different lengths and strap placement, from each other. The black dye of the second pair I ordered rubbed off onto my hands when I adjusted the buckles. I can appreciate hand made subtleties but these were glaring flaws, so both pairs had to go back.

Unfortunately the style that works best for me has discontinued my favorite sandals. Low Scandinavian is the best most comfortable for me. I tried this style hoping it would work, sadly it didn't.

First I wont to Thank Zadppos for the kind service& all shoes I have had to return. My health is not so good & it has caused problems with my feet. The reasons I've returned so many shoes is the fault of my feet, not the shoes. The Naot came up so far on my left foot the strap cut my foot, the leather is very stiff & very harsh.

I decided to keep these sandals because the footbed was a perfect fit (Birkenstocks are too wide or too narrow). I wish I hadn't. The buckle is attached with a rivet. I digs into my pinky toe. Ouch. And, the buckles rattle with every step. No being stealthy in these shoes. If I'm standing still, they feel great and look great. I sure wish I had taken my time in deciding whether to keep them; I was so happy with the fit that I put them on and went. Lesson learned. Maybe my pinky toe will callous up, maybe they'll quiet down with time; maybe I'll be able to make use of them when I am just standing still.

These were even more clunky than Birkenstocks that are similarly styled. I admit I have a small foot but I ordered the size that usually fits - a 35 and they looked like duck feet on me. Plus the straps were so wide they were uncomfortable. Just get Birkenstocks if you want this style. They are more comfy.
