Well, I read the reviews and had high hopes! I bought them to wear with a pretty pale lavender pant suit to a wedding. My high hopes and they came crashing down within the first 20 minutes of wearing them. I should have worn them around the house for longer periods of time. I swore I would burn them when I got home. The ball of both feet felt like there was a stone in the middle of the sole of the shoe. I literally limped to the car. As far as the style...cute as can be. The color...lovely, but as for comfort...I would not wear them where was much walking. I mean I only walked to the car...total night of walking...about a full city block or less. One dance. Mostly sat at the table. Walked across the room a couple of times. So many rave reviews. I wish I could join in...but I was just too miserable.

These are nothing special. I decided to settle on conservative heels so I would be comfortable for an event. I thought spending this much would mean more comfort, too. The shoes are dowdy but not comfortable. There is mo elastic in the back strap, so it constantly slipped. I wish I had spent less. This is my first negative review!

This shoe is beautiful, the blue color is perfect for my mother of the bride dress. It is tight, though, across the front of the foot. Maybe it will "break in" and be better.

I loved the style of the shoe BUT...I was surprised based on other reviews how soon I wanted to change into other shoes at my son's wedding. I wore the shoes quite a bit around my house and felt they would be very supportive. I started wearing them at 1pm and was on my feet off and on (mostly off) till the reception at 5:30. By 6:15 I was thinking I can't wait until the mother-son dance is over so I can change into another pair I had brought just in case. The initial support I thought was in the shoe just felt like a hard surface the longer I wore them. The shoe has a lower heel - just no real cushion to soften or support the foot. The mother of the bride had a shoe that was less expensive with a higher heel that she wore the entire evening without any discomfort. Very disappointed, especially since I also bought this pair of shoes in navy as well as silver (based on style) and wore them enough around the house to not feel comfortable returning them. So if you are looking for great style and don't plan on standing or dancing too much, these will work well. If you are hoping for more comfort, they are not worth the higher price.

I tried this in a different size that didn't work out for me, so tried it again in a different size. I really liked the look, but it just hurts my feet. The straps could be a lot softer.

Medium felt too narrow. I could feel the bottom of my foot spilling over the sizes. Pretty shoe. Wish it worked for me.

This is a pretty dress sandal. I have wide feet and narrow ankles. While the width is fine, the strap at the ankle is too long, so the shoe is not secure on the foot. It is not possible to correct this problem by adding another hole on the strap, due to the way it is structured. It is okay for walking around at a party, but it would not work for dancing for walking any distance. If the manufacturer would correct the problem with the strap, it would be a great shoe. One more thing - it would be more comfortable if the shoe were in leather rather than satin.

This is a pretty shoe, but it didn't fit, so I can't give it a top rating. I wear a 10 WW but while my feet are very wide at ball of foot and toe, they are narrow at the heel, and I have slim ankles. So sometimes the front of shoe fits but the heel and ankle are too big. Often if there is a buckle strap I can make them fit by punching more holes in the strap. I did that this time and punched holes in the buckle strap all the way up to where the other strap comes up from the sole. But it was still too loose, and kept coming off my feet when walking (forget dancing). As I was out of time for buying shoes and had already altered these so had to keep them, I kept them on my feet by tying a tan rubber band across the front of each here from strap to strap. I had a floor-length formal dress so that worked and the little glittery thing in front looked cute peeping out under my dress. But I hardly ever wear a dress that long. I'll probably cut the straps off altogether and wear them as slides -- no dancing in them anymore. So ladies, if you wear a wide shoe because your feet are wide in front but not in back, beware!

I ordered the David Tate Rosette in Silver from Zappos for my son's wedding last weekend. They looked very pretty with my tea length Aqua dress. I ordered four other pairs as well that did not work out. I needed a 9 W. At first walking in the house they seemed like a good fit. The ceremony was outside and the temps were about 72 degrees with low humidity. But it must have been too warm, as my foot swelled a bit, and after about two hours I could not walk in the shoes any longer. I got blisters immediately in the front by the straps. I ended up going barefoot and then wearing my everyday black sandals. I was not surprised as I have a very wide foot and high instep. I actually did not expect to wear them longer than about two hours. But Zappos was great...I would order from them again.

This shoes look very nice on the foot but I don't have confidence that I'll be able to wear them all evening.

Really disappointed in these. I ordered them in wide but the front looks really square in the front. Most sandals get more narrow toward the toe area, but not these. They're not soft at all and to make matters worse, they were shipped in some random box without a label on it. I was shocked since all of Zappos shoes come nicely packed.

These are really pretty shoes. They fit true to size and looked great with my MOG dress. They creak. They are slippery. I'm sending them back.

Looks cute on but very uncomfortable. Stiff fabric that would create blisters.

Part of the strap is elastic which causes the fit to be too loose. I cannot tighten it up any further so the shoe fits like half a size too big. Also, the white surface of the shoe shows around the foot which really detracts from the style.

I usually wear an 8S/8N/8AA/8AAA/8AAAA/8SS depending on the shoe. No way this is an 8SS! Flops right off my foot as if there was no strap! Length was true 8. Such a disappointment!

Shoe is pretty but the strap is not tight enough and can not add enough holes to be made tight enough. I have an average sized foot so I am surprised to find that I can not fit the strap at the back of the heel.

Some may have found these shoes to their liking but I wanted to burn them when I finally got to take them off. I tried on several pairs of "silver" dress sandals for a wedding. I chose these as they were, what I thought, to be the best of the bunch. Within a half hour of wearing them..I began to pray for the evening to be over. I am not one to "kick off my shoes" halfway through an evening...but this night I wanted to do just that, and worse!! By the time I limped to the car, I wanted to cry! If I could send them back I would, but I have worn them...so I am out the price of something I will never wear again. I have another wedding to attend..and another night of dancing etc. So, back to the drawing board. I would suffer through another uncomfortable evening but I don't think I could stand it. So...here I go again. I am wondering if there is any shoe of this type that is truly comfy.

I really wanted to like these shoes since they were so cute and dressy as well. I wore them twice and ended up with blisters from my foot pitching forward. I tried moleskin, gel pads, comfort strips, etc. and just cannot wear them at all.

Elegant shoe potentially very comfortable (even for wide width) if you don't have a high instep like mine.

I bought these shoes for my daughter's wedding and thought that they were a perfect height of a heel to go with a long dress. I was right. They were every bit as stunning when I got them as when I viewed them online. I only bought them online because I had trouble finding navy in a low heel at the end of the summer, otherwise I would've bought them where I could've tried them on. Had I tried them on, I never would've bought them because the straps on top of the shoe were at an angle that cut into my foot and toes. I was surprised because I have an easy foot to fit, have no foot problems, and can wear high heels, straps, and wear a normal width and wear all kinds of different styles of shoes that my friends say that they only wish that they could still wear. But these shoes were extremely painful to wear because of the straps...and also because they just had no cushion in them at all on the bottom of the shoe. I even added Dr. Scholl footpads to them, but they kind of hurt me all night long. Luckily, I wore them a week or so before the wedding and let myself get blisters from the shoes so that my feet would be somewhat calloused before the wedding. I also bought another pair of shoes to wear at the wedding, but managed to tough out the night in the shoes. They were OK after the blisters turned into callouses, but they really still were not what I would call comfortable shoes and I can wear virtually any pair of shoes with no problems.

This is a great looking shoe for a formal occasion; however, I wore them for about 6 hours and my feet were killing me at the end of the night. I believe the problem is the rhinestone decoration. It cut into my foot. As far as the fit, the medium is plenty big and true to size. It could also use some padding in the footbed.

I ordered 9W in silver satin to wear to a wedding. They're a pretty shoe however they initially had that toxic shoe/glue smell that took some time to go away. I thought they fit well but I wore them to a wedding and the strap around my would not stay up and by the end of the wedding several of my toes had blisters on them. I'm not sure I am ever going to wear them again.

I'm so disappointed in these sandals! Not only are they at least a size too small, they are also way too narrow. I always wear a narrow and cannot even fit my foot onto it. They also look very cheap! Almost like shoes for a little girl playing dress up. Definitely going back asap
