I ordered these and the "Hot Date" style also from David Tate. I was worried that these looked too old-fashioned – I was totally wrong. They looked great, and are flattering on my fat feet. I haven't worn them for any length of time yet, but just on inspection: the rosette is glued on. On one shoe, it is not perfectly centered. On the other, the glue leaks out a little around the rosette. Small, tiny imperfections that no one 'cept a Virgo like me would notice, and then only if they got down on the floor to inspect the shoes up close.

This shoe is absolutely gorgeous! I usually need a wide width but when I ordered it in a wide I found it to be too wide, so I exchanged it for a medium and it fits perfectly. The quality is wonderful, very well made and probably worth more than the asking price. It will be the perfect compliment to my wedding gown. I couldn't be happier with the styling or fit.

Love this shoe. Purchased in Navy and it is gorgeous. I wear N, and have a 4A heel so it is very hard to find shoes to fit me comfortably. Only issue is the strap around the heel does not fit as snug as I would like, but it is still good enough that I am keeping the shoes.

Nice shoe but black color not good for spring. Found another.

These were comfortable for about 5 minutes and then...OUCH!! buy the biggest size and the widest width and you might be okay.

These are really pretty shoes for a dressy occasion. I purchased them to wear with a long navy lacy dress and they were just right. I have wide feet with bunions and they were relatively comfortable. Since my foot tended to slide forward, I added some inserts for cushioning. That worked well. I also added a thin strip of mole skin on the inside of the heel strap to help keep them from sliding off. I would have a preferred a closed toe with straps but the selection in navy is limited.

Felt the overall width was true to size but at the toe straps seemed larger than they should be and felt as though my foot would slip through. Also, strap sits a little low on heel but hoping the half size down will fit better all around.

Very nice shoe, but unfortunately uncomfortable. Straps cut right into my pinky toes.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes, but are unfortunately not the color I was hoping for. A little more silvery than expected.

So pretty! However, the pair I received weren't identical. One shoe was more snug on my foot than the other shoe. (My feet are different lengths -- as most pairs of feet are -- by they're the same width.) Unfortunately in this case, the looser shoe was on my longer foot, allowing it to slip out and hang over the end of the shoe. The tighter shoe held my foot in place well, but was so snug it left lines in my foot after wearing it for two minutes. I'm a medium and I ordered a medium. So these shoes are not for me. But the variance between the two shoes concerned me enough to write this review.

This shoe did not feel like a narrow, especially in the toe box. As a result, it was very uncomfortable.

I wear dress shoes maybe once a year. I am 5'8", size 10.5 shoe and am carrying extra weight, so I am picky about all my shoes and it is hard to find comfortable ones. I like the heel height of these and the heel is a bit thicker, without being clunky. The heel feels well balanced for my foot and body weight. The straps could be better quality (softer and more flexible), but hope they will be fine for the few times I will wear these. I've walked around the house in these for a few minutes at a time and the comfort level is acceptable. I hope they will be comfortable for my evening out.

Shoes are beautiful and perfect. Sizing was only issue. They run tiny! My daughter needed 1 1/2 sizes larger and a wide width and we have never needed that before in shoes, sneakers or boots. Made the exchange and are thrilled with them!

I have tried this shoe in M, W, and WW, and non of them fit right. Disappointed, as I wanted them for my daughter's wedding. Some lasts just don't fit. Otherwise lovely quality.

Ran a little narrower than I had hoped. Ordering one size larger- hoping for better fit. Nice looking though on foot. Satin touching skin feels good.

I absolutely loved the look of these shoes, but unfortunately, the straps over the top of my foot seemed really sharp, like they were cutting into my feet. Sadly, I'm returning them.

Pretty and just as described. Just wish they would line the underside of the upper part of the shoe with a smoother material for better comfort. It's the problem with dress shoes, they rub the top of the foot.

Haven't worn to party yet but love the look. Hoping for comfort.

The shoe is dark navy and is a beautiful shoe. It also looked great with my long formal dress. Matched perfect. They were comfortable enough for the event but by the end of the night I had blisters on the same toe on each side. So that wasn't pleasant. Next time will protect those toes. I wear a 10M and these are a 10M. So true to size.

I wear an 11N and was thrilled to find this shoe in my size. This is a beautiful shoe, fairly comfortable and not too high of a heel which is perfect for me. The problem for me was I had the heel strap on the tightest hole and when I walked the strap fell right down as soon as I took a few steps. I tried putting in a pad to push my foot back but that didn't help, it still fell down. Lovely shoe but these have to go back. Luckily I ordered two other David Tate choices and one of those worked.

I wore these in my wedding and they were great shoes. Not comfortable enough to wear all day, but for five hours for my wedding and reception, they were great I ordered a wide and they looked great on my feet.

These are beautiful shoes that are really sexy! I walked out of the heel, though, and could not shorten the heel strap enough to hold my feet in. I am reluctantly returning them.

Cute shoe and very comfortable. Wore them all day at a wedding with no pain. I would have preferred a higher heel but limited option with a small foot.

I have a narrow heel, but almost a medium-width toe, and these shoes fit me pretty well (actually, they fit me the best out of all the shoes I tried on this month). They were easy to walk in and I didn't have any sliding in the heel. They didn't have a lot of arch support, so I wouldn't want to stand in them for long periods of time. In the end, I returned them because they were going to be a bit too blingy for the event I bought them for. The pretty navy color was out of stock in my size; otherwise I would have been tempted to keep them!
