Chunky, But Good -
Pros: durable, stable on the trails, doesn't show dirt easily. Cons: bigger than I thought, not a whole lot of cushy material in the soles (the upside is these shoes are very orthotic friendly).

Good light shoes... feel real good -
These shoes were all that I was hoping for... nice arch support and pretty light weight with a grippy tread pattern for outdoors.

Good shoe, great price -
Not great for long runs, but a good all around cross trainer. Arch support is non-existent. At least they look good, and you can't beat the price.

Great Look, sore feet -
Maybe it’s just my feet, but I feel like these shoes aren't quite supportive enough. Get an achy feeling whenever I wear them for athletic purposes for more than 1/2 an hour. I'm still going to give them a shot though. I love the look of them and they feel good when they're on, just think they need to be a little more supportive - maybe go with a higher NB number. .. ? . .?

Disappointing performance -
These sneakers were my son's Xmas gift in 2008. They fit great, looked great, and were very comfortable, as I expected from New Balance. However, within 3 or 4 months, the mesh part of the upper tore loose from the sueded part over the big toe.

I've been wearing exclusively New Balance athletic shoes for 10 years since my feet are wide. This model didn't provide enough support, so I immediately had to put in inserts. The shoe felt flimsy to me, but I thought I'd try them. Then the material began to wear out in 2 weeks. I returned them. As always, I'm happy with Zappos' service.

Bought these shoes to replace my Adidas running shoes as I like to jog on my lunch hour. As my work is on the outskirts and mostly desert terrain I thought they would be a good fit. The shoe fit was perfect and I like the overall style. The quality in craftsmanship is not. I had these for three months and they have worn excessively by the upper shoelace eyelet. They don't provide the impact resistance as my Adidas did. Tried them out on a trail hike in Colorado they provided a sure grip but I still could not get over the lack of impact resistance which ended up wearing me out much sooner. I guess you pay for what you get. As always Zappos has been great in offering to take these shoes back despite no fault of their own.
