I purchased these about 3 weeks ago. Most of the shoes I purchase are for "casual comfort"; so I wanted something that was comfortable and would go the entire day without regret. Well, the comfort is outstanding in these boots. I would put them along side my Rockports for comfort. I wear them most all day and later, in the evenings, realize I am still wearing my work shoes. They have good support in the arch and ankle and are quite warm. Great for the cold mornings. They're also a good looking boot. Glad I bought 'em and next time I need some shoes, I'll visit the Timberline line; a good quality boot.

With my job, I have to climb around on roofs and walk on the ground from building to building quite a bit. I was looking for a good, solid shoe with a good non-slip tread on the bottom as well as good ankle support for walking around on sloped roofs. This Timberland Chocorua boot fit the bill very nicely. I have worn these shoes for a couple of weeks, and find them very comfortable throughout the entire day. Seems as though my feet aren't as achy and tired at the end of the day like before. Good product.

Love my Timberlands. Fourth pair I’ve had. This latest is on standby because Zappos offers such a great price.

This is the 2nd identical pair of Timberland hiking boots I have bought. I work outdoors 3-4 days per months. I need reliable waterproof, lightweight hiking boot. When I wore through the soles, I decided to stick with what works and bought them again.

I like the style. I gave 3 stars for comfort because there is a seam across the ankle portion which caused my ankle to be sore. It is only a problem for my right ankle (may be my anatomy?), though. Overall, I like the boot, but wish my ankle wasn’t sore after wearing!

Must be a good boot because I just ordered a new pair. Both side eyelets (not the hooks at the top of the boot) are failing or have failed. The boots have more life in them, but not much. Maybe another 6 months to a year of everyday use. Regardless, eyelets need to be stronger.

i just ordered these and plan on sending them back after one time trying them on, the problem i have is that under the provided insole they are hard as rocks, so the little flat insole does nothing but even after putting my high end insoles i could still feel how hard the bottom of the inside of the boot is. they wear like cowboy boots if that familiar to you, hard stiff flat bottoms with no real support, also a 9 ran small and were a little too narrow for me

The collar was too padded. My son's ankles felt pressed tightly, even when the boot was left partially unlaced.

Right boot was uncomfortable around the ankle. There was an inner seem that was pushing against my ankle. I returned this item. It could have been a defect with this boot only or all boots.

The leather dye on the toe of the boot was already scuffed and rubbing off just from being shipped. I can only imagine how awful these would look after a few weeks of daily wear, or a couple of days of off trail hiking.

I have owned 2 pairs of this exact boot previously. They were made in Vietnam, they held up really well and the fit was perfect for my wide feet. This pair, made in Cambodia, was too long, not wide enough, was much lighter in weight, and made of cheaper materials. I returned them and am now going to my local shoe store in search of better fitting, better quality boots. I am very disappointed Timberland made these changes to a very good boot.

This is my second pair of this boot because of how pleased I was with the first pair. This pair did not work out as well as I'd hoped. Within a couple months, the rubber separated from the toe. Eight months after purchase, stitching came unraveled and the side of one separated from the sole. I hope it was just a bad batch, but I doubt I will be buying this shoe again for the cost.

Unforgivably uncomfortable. Especially considering the price. No thanks.

I own a pair of old Chocoruas. Bought a new pair online and I'm upset with the quality, it's very cheap, even though looks exactly the same, has the same name and in the pictures can't tell the difference. Don't let them fool. Rip off. I'll never buy Timberland again

I have been buying these boots for work religiously for the past six years. They were out of the box comfortable and required no breaking in. I was pretty rough on them at work as an arborist so they would only generally last for a 8 to 12 months and the first thing to go was the sole or the toe would unlamente. But for what I put them through I was OK with that. The last pair I bought just didn't fit. I buy wide and when I put them next to my old pair they were clearly more narrow. I returned and ordered from a different distributor hoping to get older stock but it didn't happen. So disappointing as I really loved these boots, so it's back to the drawing board.... I just don't know why the specs had to change.

This is my 4th or 5th pair of Chocoruas and, hopefully, it won't be my last. I can't even remember how long ago I bought my first pair. They last me a couple of years of daily wear as hiking, work and casual boots. Two really good things about them are that they remain waterproof until I finally wear holes in the soles (LOL!!) and they never require any break-in for me. They are immediately comfortable from the first time I put them on. I wear them EVERY day, all day long and they take whatever I dish out as work boots (I work outdoors) or outdoors adventure boots from Kentucky, where I live, to the backcountry of Alaska.

My daughter loves her new boots. My family all got matching ones and I can't wait to wear them together. Love me some timberland boots! Been wearing them since I was a kid and you can never go wrong.

Timberland boots got me through many Chicago winters, but that was 30 years ago. I was curious to see if they were still the same workhorses. I'm happy to report that they are. You can't go wrong with Timberlands.

Very pleased with these boots. The style and color are exactly what I wanted. Size is true with ample room in the toe box, very comfortable.

These are my first pair of boots I've bought with my own money, and money well spent. They are rugged and well built pair. Not only are they a staple in my city they would look good on you too! #SWEEPSTAKES

These are my first pair of boots that I've bought with my own money, and all I can say is money well spent. Along side the fact that they are a very rugged and well built pair of boots.
