Very comfortable, love the color, look great, good traction for wood flooring. I wear 8 street shoes, and a big bunion. These fit fine and no "breaking in" needed.

This is a really nice character dance shoe. It's got leather toppers and bottoms, I believe, a little gusset of elastic under the edge of the toe box on either side, and a nice shape. I'm returning it because it's too high for me, but what a lovely shoe. I found it needed more holes in the strap, though.

Love these shoes! Comfortable, dress up or down. Received lots of compliments!

After reading other reviews, I ordered half a size larger than normal and my shoes fit perfectly. The suede soles, elastic gore at the sides and the fully padded insoles are great for dance.

I bought these for a salsa class. There's not really salsa shoes, but they were less expensive than the shoes labeled for Latin dance. I wore them to my first class and they were great. Almost 2 hours of dancing and no blisters and my feet felt fine the whole time. I have a wide foot and I took reviewers' advice and went a full size up from my regular size. It was just right.

I love these character heels! I've been wanting split sole character heels for a while, and I'm so glad I splurged on these! They are gorgeous, excellently constructed, and so sturdy and comfortable! I normally wear a 7 in shoes, so I got a 7.5, and they fit perfectly! The flex in the shoe is amazing, and I definitely feel safe dancing in them. I'm in a musical that requires a ton of dancing, so these are perfect, stylish, and comfy! I love them!

These are very comfortable dance shoes - right out of the box. I like the way the sole is made. Would definitely recommend. Wish they would add more styles to this collection!

I bought these shoes for a 20's theme party. They were reasonably priced, surprisingly comfortable and true to size. I thought since they weren't very inexpensive they would feel terrible, but that wasn't true. I won't be dancing in them so I don't know how they would hold up for that, but they seem great for my purpose.

I tried a friends 8.5, I thought it felt a little small. I ordered a 9 and it still felt small. I sent it back and ordered a 9.5. The shoe says med width but the shoebox says W and it feels wide. These shoes are comfortable to dance in and have good arch support.

Comfortable dance shoe bought for ballroom dancing classes. I'm very glad I paid attention to the other reviewers regarding sizing of the Bloch shoes. As a result, I ordered this shoe in tan in three different sizes: my normal shoe size (5), half a size up (5.5) and a full size up (6). The size 5 I could barely squeeze my foot into, although usually a size 5 is a little loose on me. The 5.5 fit comfortably, with just a little pressure around the toes that eased as I wore the shoes around the house for the afternoon and quickly stretched out the leather. The size 6 was most comfortable out of the box, but a little too loose around the ankle and heel. I would suggest a half size larger than your usual shoe size, to permit the easing of the soft leather and still maintain a snug but comfy fit (you don't want dance shoes that are too loose, which I think the full size up would have been for me).

These shoes are pretty great! I haven't worn a split-sole before but they are pretty comfy and look better and more mature than regular character shoes. I love the cushion and suede bottoms. Fit was pretty good too! I normally wear a 6 in most shoes but I wear a 6 1/2 in character shoes and so I bought a 6 1/2 and they are perfect! Not too small or too big!

Love that I can order dance shoes with the ease of returns at Zappos! I ordered both 1/2 and full size up and ended up keeping the 1/2 size up (street shoe 7.5; so kept the 8 in these); Loving the flex sole; Perfect for my cha cha, waltz, salsa, etc. training; Tan elongates the leg as well! I have an average width foot and fit perfect; T-strap definitely holds my foot in with a few more knotches to go; 8.5 was too big and could feel it gappy in the heel; I imagine the shoe with stretch over use.

Great character shoe. My daughter is the dancer and says these are so comfortable. She is a size 5, I ordered a size 6 and it was perfect fit.

After reading the reviews I bought a size 8.5 when I usually wear an 8 in street shoes - sometimes 7.5 if open toed. These fit great. They are very well made in comparison to other brands I also purchased. Very Sturdy and secure while giving flexibility in the arch. I love them! Tonight will be the real test though...once I actually dance in them! :)

Love the shoe! It is great for beginner-intermediate dancer. Most comfortable shoe yet. Will order again for sure.

Normally wear 7-7.5 but ordered an 8 and fits well. Shoe flexes in just right spot. Looks good on my ankle, and leg, not dumpy at all as you might think from the heel. Very comfortable as well as technical. Very happy. Much better than Capezio.

If you have a narrow foot and think this shoe will work for you because it has a strap, don't do it! The front part of the show is way too wide for a narrow foot. And definitely listen when people say to order a size larger. I just ordered a half size larger and it was too small.

Excellent dance shoe, similar to Laduca design. On the narrow side, but they do stretch with time. Recommend sizing down about a half size for a snug fit once they break in.

I usually take a size 8, although sometimes 7 1/2. The 8 is too small in the toe area, and I am going to try an 8 1/2. I don't own any other shoes in 8 1/2.

Excellent character shoes with comfy support. Also chic as street shoe. Tan neutral goes with everything. Very feminine design. I love mine!

I bought these hoping I could stand to be on my feet all night for a Gala event I had to work. I was totally amazed at how comfortable they were, how my feet survived the night (they hate me and all shoes). I am an odd fit between a 7.5 and 8 so I never know which to get, they had to be an 8 in these so I would say they run true to a tiny bit small. I cannot give these enough praise, best buy I've made in years. Love!

I wear a 10m but purchased an 11m based on other reviews. The length was great, width was a little too wide. I think they'll fit better if I insert a cushion for the ball of my foot. The shoe has very nice, classic lines. It's a great looking shoe and very stable for dancing!

I use these for ballroom dancing. Great multi-purpose shoe! I wear an 8.5 street shoe, but usually around an 8, maybe 7.5 for ballroom, so these run small! However, they're great for social dancing, practice, etc. This is my go-to shoe. I'm not into competing, but I've been dancing for over a year and a half, and these shoes have gone the distance with me! The heel makes me feel more stable when I'm dancing. I'd say they last about 6-8 months of hardcore dancing. Longer if you take good care of them and/or you're not dancing all that often. I probably wore my one pair for a year and they were definitely overused. Wouldn't even give them to Goodwill...they were on their last legs. I was able to dance in these for a long time (usually didn't dance longer than 4 hours at a time, though) and feel good wearing them. They're flexible, but supportive, which I love. Although these are character shoes rather than ballroom shoes, they're a lot more stable than Capezio ballroom shoes! My foot has a wider ball of the foot and a narrower heel, so it's hard for me to find shoes that fit well. These are a little snug, but stretch just enough to fit my foot well. Highly recommend for a dancer.

Great for my dance classes. Does run small like all the reviews say so get half to one size larger than normal. Suede bottoms are excellent on dance floors but not for street use.
