A very comfortable and fit true to size. A great lightweight shoe for travel and wearing in spring, summer, and fall. Not very useful in winter as they're not built for Wisconsin winters. They look great and pack into a suitcase well. Be warned there is not much cushioning in the toe/ball of the foot area. Well made.

Flat-out awesome shoe! Just ditch the goofy insole that Patagonia uses. It's got about a 2" rise and makes the shoe feel like a high-heel. I use the Naot Corkbed insole instead. It's flat, supportive and cushy. It makes this shoe better than perfect!

I was looking for a casual slip-on for air travel and business trips, and this shoe seemed like a good choice. It's very lightweight and comfortable. It's nearly a minimalist shoe, with very little arch support or cushioning, but I prefer that style.

Comfortable right out of the box. I'm a size 12 and they fit true to size. Decent arch support. There is a decent amount of cushion in the heel, but the ball area of the shoe is a little thin. You wouldn't want to walk 10 miles in these. Really well made.

Love them. Fit true to size and are super comfortable. Great if you're on your feet a lot.

Looks good, feels good. Looks great with jeans. If you are looking for a shoe to wear with jeans other than your sneakers, this is it.

Got them for my husband. Really nice shoes - he says they feel like slippers. Look dressier than I thought they would. Highly recommend!

Super comfy but a little crunchy looking in the city. Runs a bit tighter than the size.

Like many of the reviews about these shoes, mine is mixed. Part of me feels that they are so comfortable and that may be because I am closer to nature with the minimal foot support. The price of this gives me a sore ball of one of my feet and the knowledge that these shoes are not for lengthy walks. The other problem that these shoes pose is that the minimal rear cushioning causes is damage to pants as they drag along the floor and so many of my pants are now frayed at the bottom.

Not a bad shoe. I love it's versatility between work, play, and dress. It can fit into any situation. I would go a half size down, maybe full. It's not very water resistant, and I fear it's not as durable as I'd like for utility. Rather expensive.

I ordered these shoes after having success with another pair of Patagonia shoes (which seem to have been discontinued). I love the look and the feel of them, but after 2 months of wear the part of the liner that covers the heel seam ripped out of one shoe. It seems to be just a very thin piece of cardboard. I'm hopeful that it will still be wearable without major surgery.

Comfortable but not good for day to day work shoes. I wore through the soles in less than a year; much less durability than I anticipated.

I loved these shoes on my husband! Until he walked on our hardwood floors. Every step he took sounded like my cat sneezing. Other than that these shoes are great!

I bought these shoes for my son who is a high school student. He chose them; I'm never sure what is "in" for teenagers, and this wouldn't have been what I predicted he would want. However, he is very pleased with them, both for their comfort and their looks. They actually look spiffier in person than they do in the pictures. They are very light weight and seem to be the pair of choice for jeans and casual pants. My son doesn't have a closet full of shoes--just athletic shoes really. These shoes are a nice transition into something more grown-up.

These shoes are lightweight, flexible, and comfortable. They are also attractive and seem to be durable so far. The leather appears to resist scratches. These shoes would be great for travel.

One of my favorite pair of shoes. Goes well with jeans or a nice pair of khaki slacks. These are probably my favorite airplane travel shoes because they slip on and off easily and are comfortable all day long. I own one pair of these and two of my cousins both own a couple different styles of this shoe - needless to say we love it.

These are very lightweight and comfortable.

I have two pairs of Cardon's one light brown and one dark brown. I bought the light brown pair about 9 months ago, and I love them (although it's true, as Anonymous from SF says) that the soles tend to pick up small litter, so they need to be brushed off at the door). The dark brown pair, only recently purchased, was apparently made by different manufacturers. It has taken longer to break in, and as Chris H reports, the heel backings tend to fold down like paper. The heel backings in the light brown pair are sewn down -- a completely different construction method. I love the light browns, but I'm not completely happy with the dark browns! What a surprising difference!

First off, I love this shoe. I have owned two pairs and they are one of the most comfortable shoes around. However, be warned that the rubber sole is very thin and if you wear these with any regularity, the sole will wear through. Both of my pairs were unwearable after less than a year of moderate wear. Again, love the shoe, it just is not durably made.

Returned the shoe. There is indeed a small piece of plastic lining the heel that is outside of any fabric. Upon trying these on the plastic was already bending and uncomfortable. Not priced at the low quality.
