I really want to love this boot. I have the Chimmy color and it is fun. The style is very cute either in jeans/leggings or jeans on the outside. The only problem I have is that they are hard to get on. I am a size 6.5 and I ordered a 6.5. Perfect fit once my foot is inside the boot. The boot has great support, but trying to get them on is tough. I do not wear socks, my feet say pretty warm (temp 35 degrees) , but would prefer to wear socks with them. If they could add a waterproof zipper on the back for release of the heel getting in the boot they would be perfect! I would still recommend them, I just might have a high instep.

These are very cute! I'm going to waterproof spray them because my feet did get wet while walking in slush. I purchased my normal size, and they fit great in the length- I'd say they do run wide though. Overall,it's a great boot.

It's a bit flatter than I thought it would be. My size is a 7, but the 7 was too small for my foot. I just exchanged it for an 8. Let's see how it goes. I'm still waiting for it.

I can't comment on the waterproofness as I have not tried that out, but I have to say I am mystified by the comments that these are hard to get on. I had zero problem putting them on. Maybe it's a high arch thing as some noted. I am between an 8 and 8 1/2, and I ordered the latter. I would say it's true to size with maybe a touch extra room. Not a bad thing in a winter boot. It looks nice, a little stiff feeling out of the box, but that should loosen up.

I like them once they are on, and they are the correct size, but you need to wrestle them on more than I would have expected.

These boots are comfortable, but they are a little hard to get off and on--with no zipper, and they are a tiny bit short for me (I wear an 11). However, my feet have never been cold while wearing them. I would highly recommend them.

I was dubious about how water proof these would be, but they’re amazing. Kept my feet warm and dry during a recent cold snap where temps were regularly near zero degrees Fahrenheit and there were 4-6 inches of snow on the ground. I like that I can wear them indoors without clomping around. Still a little slippery on ice, but a great, comfortable, good looking boot. I ordered my normal size and the fit was dead on.

I was a little disappointed with these boots to my dismay. I thought they looked like inexpensive knockoffs of Uggs. They didn't have the same comfortable footbed, but on the plus side, they were a cuter silhouette, less clunky. I wear a 7 1/2 and that's what I ordered. My foot slipped around and didn't stay in the heel. I felt for the price, it would have had a better insole and a nicer fleece lining on the outside of the boot. The suede is pretty and made to wear well. This boot has more pros than cons. I think if you are an Uggs fan, you should stick with Uggs. On the plus side, these are waterproof and Uggs are notorious for having water seep in. Nothing like dry, warm feet when shoveling, walking or hiking in the snow.

Great boots, had to exchange - I loved these boots when I tried them on but was so sad they were too large. I read everyone's reviews saying to order up because they run small and unfortunately ordered up too large. I normally wear an 8 - 8.5 so I ordered the 9, but my feet were swimming. I am returning and reordering an 8.5. Unfortunately because the site does not allow for an exchange, and the price went up, I now have to pay an extra $4. Otherwise I love the boots, but didn't get to try them outside yet because I am returning them.

Just want to say these Bostonian espressos are excellent shoes. It is extremely comfortable and light. I just love it. Two thumbs up.

These boots are super cute and very comfortable to wear. I go on long walks in them all the time. Waterproof and cozy so I stay warm and dry. They are more lightweight than I thought, so that's great too. One bad thing...they are really hard to get on! I have narrow feet and calves, and they get stuck at my ankle. I'm sweating by the time I pull them on! I wish they were easier so I could pull them on quickly for short tasks. Other than that, I think I'd buy them again!

It is almost impossible to get your foot in these. They are stiff and unforgiving to get on, going back!

I think these boots would have been great if I had been able to navigate my foot through the tight ankle! I had to return them.

Can't put my foot into the pretty boot. So frustrated. They are handsome boots and with Patagonia name I'm sure they are also functional. Too sad they have to go back. I made sure that they have wide enough calf width before I order boots with no zippers, but the entry point at ankle is too narrow for me to get my foot in. To make sure they are not mis-labeled with wrong size, I took out the insoles to match with my feet, and they do match.

The picture does not reflect the quality of these boots. I assumed that I was paying for Ugg quality boots because of the price of these boots. I was very disappointed.

It is difficult to get your foot into these boots if you have high arches. Also, these boots are waterproof, so your feet won't breathe and will get sweaty. I also do not find them very warm.

Runs a little narrow - These boots look great and are very warm but I have a narrow foot and they still feel a bit snug. I can't wear more than a light weight sock with them. They also feel a little tight in the calf and I'm having trouble tucking pants into them. I'm pretty sure they will have to go back. :(

These boots are OK for walking in the snow (no wet feet), but they are kind of stiff and hard to remove. I bought some boots for other family members, in different styles/brands, and mine were the least nice-looking and the least comfortable. No fault of Zappos though, and I will buy shoes/boots from the site again -- it was easy and fast.

I ordered these in my normal size 6. I have very narrow feet and I still couldn't get my foot inside the boot. I had to send them back. I really liked the way they looked so I'm upset I couldn't keep them.

I usually wear a 10 but have larger calves, so I ordered a 10 and an 11. I tried the 11 on first and couldn't even get my foot in all the way. They're sitting in the mail area here at my work waiting to be returned now. Sizing is weird! This is just an FYI for anyone out there with larger calves wondering if this boot will do the job -- nope.

These boots look great on the website and I was looking for something warm to wear to the hockey rink! In a blindfolded test, you would not be able to tell the difference between this boot and a ski boot. As for the warmth? As I sit and type this review, my toes are colder in this boot than in my wool slippers. On a positive note, the sole is heavy duty and the only attribute demonstrating Patagonia quality. To be specific, the footbed is narrow, the shaft tight to my shin, the lining is fleece instead of shearling. Something else of note, I could not get either boot off by myself. That said, I'll stick with my Uggs. Thanks, Zappos, for the free return shipping...you are awesome!!!

I am petite (5'4") and have a fairly athletic build due to tennis. I ordered this in a 7½ and had to return them. I could get my foot in, but could not get them off. I had to return as I was going to be traveling by air and they need to come off easily for airport security check points. I ordered the Sportos Kristen instead. The Zappos customer service team is the best and friendliest I have had the pleasure to work with. Thank you for your tremendous help!

Unfortunately, I couldn't even get my foot into these. My instep must be too high for this boot. Other than that, they had more of blueish tint to them in color...not as charcoal gray as the picture depicts.

Very disappointed. I could not even get the boot on my foot! (And I have really diminutive feet.) They are nice-looking. Patagonia should consider a side zipper.
