This size 7W shoe was way bigger than a size 7 1/2 W that I had ordered previously!!

I have had several pairs of these. If I wear them a lot, the suede starts to look pretty dingy unless I take really good care of them. The best thing about the Mocs, in my opinion, is the fit and arch support. I have suffered with plantar fasciitis from time to time, and these are a big help for me in that respect. One downside to the shoe is the soft outer sole. If you happen to step on something sharp, the object can go right through the sole and into your foot; for me, it was the tip of a mechanical pencil that had fallen and landed point-up in a parking lot. Also, the sole tread tends to pick up and hold moist soil which easily ends up on the floor of the house once it dries enough to fall off. I was blaming the dirt in the house on the dog; turned out it was me. Other than that, I think the Merrell Mocs are an excellent shoe, and I currently have two pair; one in the suede and the other in the smooth leather.

Right out of the box comfy. I sometimes need a wide shoe but this regular width is fitted in the heel and roomy up front. The gussets will relax after a while adjusting to your foot. This is my third pair. The bottom wears smooth eventually (years) but overall it still looks good. The men's 7 is good for my women's 8 1/2. Great arch support.

I have had these for years, this pair is not quite right, nee; moves around, feels "loose" on uppers.

I have purchased this shoe several times, same size and width. Originally from the Manufacturer's outlet in OR. When it was time to replace, and I was nowhere near OR, I decided to use Zappos. Zappos policies are second to none. The problem this time is that the shoe was tight on my foot, and I had to work hard to get it on. I persevered, wearing them several times, hoping the material would stretch a bit and be like the previous shoes. That did not happen, so I am going to have to return these shoes. I am left in a quandry because I tried a jungle moc from another brand and was ultimately less satisfied with that brand than the Merrell shoes. Not sure what I will do next.
