My daughter has worn the Jungle Moc for years, but they've changed the cut of the shoe across the top of the foot. She's tried several pairs and even tried the men's version, but they all pinched the top of her foot. We were at a doctor's visit and noticed she was wearing Merrells and she said she had the same experience with her Jungle Moc. Merrell, please change the Jungle Moc back to its original cut!

This is the first time I am very disappointed with Merrell. These not walking shoes! Be careful on wet surface, you might fall... Besides, not breathable... All other Merrell shoes I was very happy with. Unfortunately, after using these my feet smell terribly...

While this shoe is a very comfortable one that my husband has been wearing for a long time, this last pair arrived without the inner soles, thus, the one star. Zappos needs to institute quality control which is the failing of Zappos and Amazon.

I bought this same shoe for over a decade. I've had about 8 pairs of them, and the newest pair are nothing like the previous. They are cut much smaller. I wear a 9.5 XW, and have forever. I sent a pair back, since they said maybe it was a problem batch, but the replacements were exactly the same. I took measurements at each part of the shoe (distance from sole to top edge of upper, from insole to top of upper, etc.), traced sole of old shoe on paper and the new shoe outline fits completely within the old line. Every metric is smaller about the new shoe. The company says they've had no reports of this, but it clearly looks like a money-saving change to me. Either that, or they are getting short changed by their factory in wherever it is. Will buy the Dunham, or else the Duluth Trading version. Looks extremely similar, was cheaper and is generously sized. Too bad. I've been a loyal Merrell customer forever.

Unfortunately these Merrell shoes have inconsistent sizing. This is a recent problem for Merrell products. This is not a problem of the Merrell shoes being sized too small or too big as compared to other shoes. The problem is lack of consistency in the sizing of the Merrell shoes. Buy size 11 one year it is different than size 11 of the exact same shoe you buy a year later. Buy the same shoe in different colors in supposedly the same size and they are obviously different dimensions. This is not just they "feel different", this is a case where you can see the difference and actually measure it on the outside with a tape measure. They are a great shoe if you can get one that fits, but you cannot rely on the reported shoe size as a guide to the shoes actual size. Probably the result of very sloppy manufacturing.

I bought a pair of these and the fit was right on and very comfortable. I bought a second pair and they were totally different - too small. Manufacturing process is out of control.

I really wanted to like these. Too bad! These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. Painful. I tried them on in the house, and had to take them off pretty fast - hours later, my feet still hurt. I remember trying on a pair of these years ago in a shoe store and remarking that they were the most comfortable shoes ever - now, a completely different experience. I have worn, and existed very happily with other Merrell's...so I'm perplexed. Manufacturing defect? Different factory and standards from the times of yore? Different feet? Whatever. Thanks Zappos for making this return so easy.

Probably the worst-fitting shoe I've ever worn. I'd have returned, but someone threw away boxes before I had a chance to try them. The insole is painful and leaves a mark when worn barefoot. The bottom of the shoe feels to narrow, but the rise of the shoe is so tall that your foot swims inside. I tried adding an additional gel insole, and that helped a bit, but the shoe feels awkward with two insoles. In short, the worst shoe I've ever worn. Never again.
