i know things don't last forever but when i purchase what i feel is way above the bar from "big box" stores...i expect them to last longer than a year. i purchased these a smidge over a year ago...truly very comfortable and supportive. i wear these for short walks, wear socks and carefully put them on and carefully take them off....i am EXTREMELY saddened that the heels inside them are shot...the fabric has torn and i can see blisters coming if i continue to wear them...i did notice the shoes are "out of exchange" time frame....looks like i will be looking for a different brand...step it up merrel!

The the Merrell that I am used to. The toe box is small and they don't breath!

I bought a10.5 wide, my size. Plenty wide and half inch space at toe. Shoe was tight across the top of my foot and was very painful. Every pair of Merrells I own have been very comfortable right out of the box. I wil return them. I might try the suede, might have more give across the top!!

Ordered two pairs. One pair fit fine. The other had one shoe smaller than the other. Too much hassle to send back, just donating to local charity. Never order shoes online. Lesson learned.

Absolutely disheartening. Three months ago this would have been a 4-5 star shoe without question. I have been buying these shoes routinely for most of my adult life now. They are comfortable, and considering they're "slip ons" they are remarkably secure and comfortable. Great traction, good fit in general, and reliable.... usually. This last pair I bought at the end of January were fine for the most part up until a few days ago when I noticed a hole had formed at the heel. This does tend to happen with these shoes.... after about a year and a half, sometimes longer. In almost a decade of wearing these shoes I have never had one fail in about two months like this. They're not "cheap" shoes, and have always held up really well in general. I would expect this from a knock-off or imitator, not the real deal. I have done nothing different in my walking habits, insole type, or sock types, but now there's a hole and discomfort while walking; it can't be good for foot health. I'm not sure if there has been a change in where/how they are made in recent years as others have guessed, or if this was just a bad batch, but this is disappointing and concerning. This has been a shoe that I have had cashiers mention that their boyfriends, friends, etc. all love and known for being reliable and versatile. Now I may have to see if there's anything out there that comes close or roll the costly dice again.

I am having trouble keeping them clean. A drop of something fell on the right shoe. I telephoned Merrill and was told to use a gentle soap and water. That did not work. Naturally I am disappointed.

Less than one month and 50 miles (I wore boots more often in this time) and the soles are flat on the heels; the sole material is too soft.

I wore this almost a year, I didn't check what the material from, all I know it was so comfortable for me. When I want browse to get another one, then I know, the material from pig skin. I have to throw it, bc I can wear it for the religious reason. I love the shoes, but can't use it

I have bought these mocs for years and they have been my absolute favorite pair of shoes. They normally last me years of wear.. I dont wear them during the summer months so they tend to last longer.. I bought these shoes I have now spring 2020. They have already started to come apart at the sole and leak. Im not walking in puddles either, its wet grass.. Also the tread is quite slick.. I have almost fallen down several times just walking on wet tile or snow and ice... I have never had this issue before... they have been my go to winter shoe.. but sadly I will not purchase these again as I feel the quality is just not there anymore.. im sorry..

I've been buying a pair of these shoes every year in the same size for at least the last decade. I picked up a pair of these the other week and they are to small now. After just wearing for 5 minutes my feet are in agony. This is the second pair of Merrell footwear I've purchased in the last two years that I've experienced this problem with. I dont feel it is a matter of breaking in the shoes(I've worn them daily even though they hurt in hope that they'd chamge)I feel that Merrell has changed their sizing. I will not be purchasing their products again which makes me sad since I've been wearing their footwear in various forms from sandals to boots for over 15 years. Life's to short to wear painful shoes.

This is my third pair of the same shoe. The last 2 have a squeak in the right shoe. I sound like a duck when I walk.

Actual color of the Jungle Moc does not match the advertised picture. Actual color is totally different and is more like a light tan color than Dark Earth color.

Have worn Merrells for the past 12 years, this shoe is the worst. The sides r too high & rub on my ankles. First & last time buying on line.

I've been wearing this model for over 25 years, just bought a new pair and they are not the same at all. The opening is MUCH tighter and, frankly, very uncomfortable.

Do not recommend jungle mocs for the hospital. I wore these for three days straight on 12+ hour shifts in the operating room and they gave me black toenails in the same spot on both of my big toes. I blame the lack of cushioning in the toebox design. I am very disappointed as these are the first Merrell product I did not enjoy. I really hope you look into changing the design of the toebox in future revisions. I cannot return as I have already worn them for a week. I will be switching to a different product.

I love Merrell products and I really wanted to love these but when I received them and tried them on around the house, the top of the tongue cut into my (top part of my foot / ankle) and it was too painful to wear. I wondered if they would soften but I don't think I can chance it. Too tight / the edge is just at the wrong position where the foot bends.

I bought these as an alternative to my normal operating shoes. I wore them for a week and they gave me subungual hematomas in both my big toes which is known as black nail from the lack of cushioning in the toe box. I'm in pain and very disappointed from the product as I've owned other merrell shoes over the years. I do not recommend these shoes for healthcare workers.

Calling this shoe a Jungle Moc is misleading. The soles are not slip resistant on any wet,damp surface whatsover. Forget wearing these shoes in hot weather. The design does not allow the feet to breath properly,thus causing feet to sweat and swell up. You wouldn't last 10 mins in an actual jungle wearing these shoes. The soles besides being very slippery wore down in less than 6 months time under light use. Maybe they do the job for some,but these Merrells didn't impress me.
