Although somewhat comfortable, I have had two hips done. I need more lateral stability. I don't think this shoe provides the degree of side-to-side stability that I need.

This is my third pair of Merrell jungle mocss and the first from Zappos. The entire purchasing and delivery process was flawless. Unfortunately, Merrell has changed the tread from the broad diamond pattern on the first two pairs to a much smaller and complex pattern. The new pattern picks up everything I walk on in the morning and as it dries, leaves little mud clumps, grass, and sand throughout the house.

I was disappointed with this purchase. The shoes look great and were exactly what I wanted - but the arch support is so high that after walking for a few minutes, wearing them becomes painful. I don't have fallen arches, and have never had this problem with a shoe before. Unfortunately, by the time this problem became obvious, the shoes had been worn too much to be returned. Moral of the story: try before you buy.

These have been my daily footwear for just over six months. They were attractive and comfortable in the beginning, and while the former still applies, I can't say the same for the latter. These shoes have worn more quickly and worse than any other pair of shoes I've owned in recent memory. I underpronate, which results in an uneven wear pattern on all of my shoes, but even so, six months is an incredibly short life for a pair of shoes when I keep most of my shoes around for two years or more. The right shoe now pops, as if I'm bursting a bubble from a piece of bubble wrap, every time I step down on the heel. These shoes have always had pretty terrible wet weather traction as well, a real problem here in Seattle where wet weather is the norm rather than the exception. While the tread appears rubbery in the images, I would describe it almost as more of a plasticky feel than rubber. This is my first and my last Merrell product.

I have a wide foot and the W was a little too big. I also have flat feet and the arch was high enough that it would have been very uncomfortable to wear for any length of time.

This pair of Merrells I ordered on 3/25/2012 has not worn well and I had to replace the insoles with Dr. Scholl's inserts over the summer to stop severe heel pain. Also I noticed the fabric is wearing away around the top inside edge of the shoes allowing sharp "stuff" from the inside of the shoe to poke my feet. I have worn Merrell Jungle Mocs for many years and normally they last for 1-2 years. Now I am reluctant to order this shoe again.

I give this show mixed reviews. One pair that I bought was simply awesome, fit great loved them so much I bought another pair a year later. Here's the catch there was a huge inconsistency in the quality of the shoe the second time I purchased it. The insole was terrible on the new shoe to the point that it was unwearable. The shoe also ran about a 1/2 size larger the second time I purchased it. It would have been a really great shoe, but if you can't get a consistent quality why buy from Merrell?

First let me say that I bought a pair of Jungle Mocs in black last year. It is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I wanted variety, so I purchased another pair this year. However, I am extremely disappointed with this new pair. The comfort is non-existent. It feels like I'm walking on a piece of wood. Debating whether to return these for a replacement pair. Merrell makes good shoes. Perhaps the pair I received are defective.

These shoes are silver in color. The picture on Zappos makes them look brown. The tongue rises too high on the shoe and cuts into the ankle. These shoes hurt after just a couple of wearing them.

I really wanted to like these. My first Merrells, and I loved the styling and color. They felt solid, and well constructed. I normally wear a size 12 mens - but they felt very loose on my foot, and walking in them, the heel slipped around. Initially bought the 11 wides instead, but as I moved around in them, and drove to work, my toe was crammed in the toe box and felt like it was going numb. Exchanged them for the 12 medium - but immediately, just walking in them a little, the heel was sliding around again. At a store, I tried the 11.5 medium (cramped) and the 11.5 wide (slide around). Gave up and bought the Merrell Moab Ventilators instead - different style, 12 wide, fit like a glove.

After being very happy with the Merrill Radland, I thought that I would try this shoe. It does not seem to be as well made. I only had them for a few days and the stitching started to come apart. The other thing I don't like is the arch support. It is way too high of an arch which causes me pain.
