I like the style, but the opening is a very tight fit, even in a half size larger than I normally wear. Too tight across the top of my foot, too.

Great slip-on shoe for cold, damp conditions. Feet stayed warm in the snow on my recent trip to the USA.

My husband says these shoes are "bullet proof". Although he does not find them very stylish, they are comfortable and long wearing. He loves this particular color.

I bought these in my quest to re-wardrobe my shoe department after suffering some bad plantar fasciitis and Achilles soreness. I thought they looked comfortable and the soft upper wouldn't put pressure on my arch the way laces would... I was right… I find the sole not as flat and stable as I'm use to but it is certainly well-made and hold the ground. I actually slipped in them and the suction cups that run up the side and back of the heel held me up... Very nice moccasin. They are WARM! I would not use this as a summer shoe but you can put them on for a winter trip to see the family, a walk to meet the kids at the bus stop, or a quick trip to the supermarket... They are nice enough for a casual dinner and I'll bet they hold up to the elements well as the material and sole is very durable. I had tried the NB version because it was cheaper and they weren’t half this good and ran too small. These things are nice. The insole is average and I put my orange Superfeet in them for arch support. The elastic keeps them snug on your feet but not too tight. I have narrow feet with high arches and it was a concern that they would be loose or fly off... No chance… I could jog in them and when I’m done they kick off with the opposite foot assisting very easily... Very nice fall/winter moc!!

Merrell’s Jungle Moc is an excellent all-purpose "knockabout" shoe, and I've been wearing them for several years now. They're slightly stiff at first but quickly mold to the feet, and provide unmatched comfort around the arch, heel and lower ankle. I can wear them all day whether walking, standing or hanging around without the slightest bit of discomfort. In the summer I can wear them without socks and experience no abrading or chafing at all. My experience has been that they run a little small, so I always order a half-size larger (I have 3 pairs). On the downside they will start to show creasing at the instep and minor discoloration after a few months of wear, and if you wear them as often as I do the rubber around the toecap will begin to peel back slightly. After a year or so of use, the bottom tread will show signs of balding (just like a tire), and they may become slippery on wet surfaces.

This is a great shoe. Immediately upon putting it on it was completely comfortable. Excellent arch support. Not a heavy shoe; a pleasure to walk in.

Excellent and comfy. Runs quite generous in size. I normally wear a wide, so I ordered a wide, and boy are they roomy. I may have been able to get away with the regular width. Super easy to wear and offers good traction. Will buy again!

Merrell Jungle Moc - I like these shoes. At first they felt a bit loose at the heel while walking. After a couple of weeks, that went away as the shoes started to break in. They are easy to step in and out of. Altogether, an excellent casual shoe.

My husband loves Merrell. He has wide feet like 3E, but Merrell's fit very well.

The shoes were nice and the fit was true but the heel rubbed and slipped, we ended up returning. I have worn this style of shoe under several different brands and this was the worst fit on the foot. I typically love Merrell and use them for my work boots but this moc isn't great.

I've owned a few of these Jungle Mocs over the years, and have been generally satisfied with them. But with this purchase, things have changed. The shoe feels tilted toward the heel, and the heel support is hard. After walking all day in them, even mostly indoors, the impact on the heel transfers to my skeleton and my hip hurts. Not good for somebody recovering from hip joint replacement surgery. Wearing Sketchers today, they are more flimsy and unsupportive, but don't hurt my hip.

I have worn this Merrell shoe style daily for over 10 years. This pair felt a bit roomier in width than usual, but not a problem. However, the upper suede was raggedy & rough, not smooth as normal. I was worried that this would pick up dirt & wear badly so I exchanged for another pair. These were still not of normal smoothness but less bad , so I kept them, but looks like they got a bad batch of suede for this style.

Merrell's have always been my "go to" shoes for the past 8-10 years. I can put them on, straight out of the box, and there is no "break-in time" needed...usually. I have bought their Jungle Mocs before, so when I got these for a trip out of town, I put them on..went out the door, and figured they would be the only shoe that I would need for the next 5 days. Unfortunately, that was not the case. This pair (and maybe it is only this pair), was unusually narrow in the toe. It rubbed blisters on my foot, and I was in pain. The Zappos team member, Joyce, helped me resolve the situation. She was delightful! BUT: I have learned. Merrell, or any other brand of shoe, I will make sure that they fit, before I head out the door for a 5 day trip, with only that pair of shoes!!

I'm really disappointed with the quality of these shoes. This was my first pair of Merrell's and I bought them because everyone said that they're incredibly durable. I'm a big man and I do a lot with my feet, so this was attractive to me. Usually I just by skater shoes like DCs or Vans because they tend to be the most durable. For this price I'd hoped for something with a little more style my age as well as at least the same durability. What I got was the opposite. I alternate these shoes with another pair and 6 months down the line, the Merrell's are the shoes where the tread is already worn smooth and the support is breaking down and hurting my feet. I really loved them at first, but I won't waste my money again.

I bought my Jungle Mocs while on a recent trip to the US. Because I was traveling overseas, I through away the box and packed the shoes. When I finally wore them for the first time, I discovered they are way too big. This is my 2nd pair of Jungle mocs. The first pair fits perfectly and the only difference is one is regular leather and the new ones suede. Now I have to wait 'til my next trip to the states to return them. I don't even know if Zappos will accept them without the box. I know I was stupid to not try them on immediately. I just thought "same shoe, same size, same experience." Boy, was I wrong.

The shoe seemed to lean inwards, so not sure how it will impact my knees. The shoe is a bit bigger than normal due to loose top, it tends to rub on back. My first purchase of this brand for walking shoes, will probably try other brands next time.

These shoes are too narrow, plus not long enough. My toe kept bumping against the end of the shoe and I had bought my size.

I am flat footed. I ordered this shoe because of the comfort description. I feel that this shoe was not very comfortable, and and I replaced the insert with a Dr. Scholl's gel insert. Also I have some degree of chronic plantar fascists, and the arch support was bothersome.

Sole of the shoe is too narrow for me, making the shoe unstable. Not a comfortable shoe for heavy walking (miles at a time). Not a good shoe for me.

Zappos did everything right. Great pictures, description, easy ordering, and SUPER customer service. As usual, no problems from Zappos. Jungle Mocs are great. Here are the pros: Good arch support - Solid construction (see cons) - Good fit and finish - Very durable upper - Good fitting shoe with good socks - Soles are springy. Only one con: Soles wear out very fast. After 2 months of wearing these, the nubs/traction have worn flush to the rest of the sole. For the price - everyone expects the soles to wear better. Have less than 50 miles on them and 90% + traffic on smooth tile floors and carpeting. Just plain walking in a hospital environment, not pushing stuff around or anything else that would cause undue wear. The rest of the shoe looks brand new. The uppers are still factory fresh as is the interior. Don’t get me wrong. These are very comfortable shoes. They fit me well out of the box with good socks. Would I recommend to others or buy another pair? No. This is too much money to spend on inferior soles.

My left little toe, where I have a corn and many problems, was squeezed. Also, when I walked, the my heel lifted. That was very annoying.

This is the day of the expanding shoe (apologies to Steely Dan). So, first I ordered the size I usually wear, 10.5 Wide. My foot slid around inside them. Tried 10 Wide--a decent fit, maybe a tad wide, but I needed all the length, so I kept them, even though the inserts Merrell uses are thin and cheap (still, I like the firm sole better than any of the squishy Skechers I've recently tried), and even though these Jungle Mocs do look a bit like bulbous Dutch-boy clogs (but I wear them inside where no one can mock the mocs). Thing is, after a couple weeks the shoes felt bigger--indeed, they had expanded. And now, after six weeks, my foot slides around inside them. I guess I'll try some inserts to fill the newfound space. Anyway, if you want a shoe that keeps on giving, maybe this is for you.

I switched to these Merrell mocs several years ago, but I need to now move away from them. I find the toe of the soles peeling after only 3-4 months of daily usage. The soles also wear out super quick and the back of the shoe also develops a wear hole from slipping them off and on. This is the third or fourth pair I have purchased in the last 3 years. They just don't make them like they used to.

fit fine, style fine, they are fine except the outside sole material is garbage. The outside heels are already showing wear after only wearing them 3weeks. Its cheaply made with poor quality material in Vietnam. I won't be getting another pair anytime soon...
