Great shoes.....although they squeek when i walk...that is annoying...maybe I'll superglue inserts.

One man's observations and opinion on the Jungle Moc Nubuck: This is a well-constructed shoe made of good materials. It is comfortable fresh out of the box with no chafing, hot spots, or toe crowding. I wear a 7.5 and these are spot-on for size. The Nubuck upper is supple and the footbed-sole provides nice support while retaining flexibility. The tread on the sole is mildly aggressive with lugs approximately 3mm tall. I've noticed over decades that Merrell has not compromised quality and these shoes seem as robust as my 7-year-old pair that continues to provide good service. If you are deciding between the Jungle Moc and the Moab Rover (I have both): Although these two models appear similar in style they differ substantially in design and components which results in a quite different feel. Perhaps the simplest characterization is the Moc is built and feels like a trail running shoe while the Rover is robust akin to a hiking boot. A few readily apparent comparisons show the Moab Rover has a deeply-lugged Vibram© sole with greater lateral (anti-roll) stability due to a design that flares outward rather than the Jungle Moc's sole whose edges round under; the Rover has reinforced upper stitching and more substantial ankle padding. These features make the Moab Rover a rugged and protective but much stiffer shoe. I find the Jungle Moc is a fine, comfortable general purpose knockabout. Highly Recommend.

The shoes are comfortable even after doing some walking. I haven't tried doing any long hikes with them, but short walks are just fine.

Have bought three of these in the past, and love them. I've always bought a men's size even though I'm a woman because they fit better. This pair, though, came up too high under my ankle and felt it was cutting in, so have to return them.

I want to love this shoe. In fact, I owned a pair for almost two years and ordered another to replace the original. However, it appears Merrell has changed their formula. My replacement set does not fit properly, with the lip of the shoe rubbing the top of my fit, causing chafing. The overall fit of the shoe is correct; it is just the top portion of the shoe that is too long. Too bad! I really wanted to wear these!

My Husband's go-to shoe for 10+ years! It's all he wears. He has had plantar fasciitis surgery and works in an industry that often calls for long (12-18 hour) days on his feet with lots of walking and standing. They wear well. He typically gets another pair every 8 months or so, and uses the old ones for yard work. I have yet to see one of these tear or separate from the sole either- they're tough.

My husband loves this shoe and he is super picky! He also has small feet so it's hard to find good shoes for him. Merrell is one of the few companies that make great shoes for small feet for men. Will be great for our vacation in Central America.

I was looking for a casual slip-on to wear with dress shorts and khakis, something a step up from tennis shoes. I have thick, wide feet, not the easiest to fit comfortably. Merrill has accomplished this admirably well with the Jungle Moc. Even roomier in the toe box than most brands. Nice, well made, comfy shoe with a suitable sole for walking both on and off the sidewalk. Well done Merrill. And a shout out to Zappos for their exemplary customer service.

Ordered for my son (birthday) - Size 15 - who has a hard time finding shoes for his long narrow foot. He loves these shoes. Usually wears 15 1/2 narrow, but the 15 works for him. Thanks Zappos!

The shoes fit well and look good too!

These are lightweight & comfortable. Exactly what I wanted. The heel is slightly rounded than my previous brand making the first wearing somewhat uneasy. They are waterproof which is a plus. Definitely recommend these.

Very comfortable. I've been wearing Merrell shoes for years. I especially like the Jungle Moc. Essentially, these are the only type of shoes I wear.

This shoe fits like a glove right out of the box. It provides excellent support and is very comfortable. I walk my dog about 3 miles every day which is why I bought these shoes. They fill the bill completely. I recommend these shoes.

Since being diagnosed with plantar fascitis 5 years ago, my life has become an everlasting quest to find shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and *lasting.* Lots of shoes feel comfortable in the first few weeks. I need something that will last at least a year or two...or three. These Merrells are amazing. I sprayed them with silicone protectant and have worn them through the winter. They have been comfortable, supportive, and amazingly rugged. They have a good tread on them so you don't feel like you're going to eat pavement when you're out in the snow. I'm on my feet all day in a classroom and these have kept my feet happy. I'm now buying up pairs and stockpiling them. I think they are a bit warm for the approaching spring, but I think I'm looking at buying a pair of Merrell's for the warmer weather, too.

Very happy with these shoes. Comfortable for pretty much everything I do, including walking during the workday. Fantastic shoes!
