I like the shoe. It is just too tight for my foot. I have never ordered double wide shoes before.

Great fit, nice design, but they need replacing too soon. The soles do not hold up to an average of 8000 steps a day. They will wear through in less than 6 months.

The shoe seems to be engineered to the original Jungle Mock specifications.
Less than thrilled with the smooth finish and colour.

So far, not satisfied with the fit. They seem a bit tight both length and width. My assumption is that they run small. I ordered based on previous sizes. With these, I am thinking I should have gone + .5 size and wide in place of M.

The gunsmoke color isn't a brownish gray anymore, more on the gray side now, bordering on the pewter color. Other than that, my Dad loves them. just not the color.

The shoes look great in the pictures, but the brown is very different in real life as it is much more fad and dull looking. A different shade altogether that isn't as nice compared to the images. Also, anything that's leather or Nubuck feels loose on me compared to the regular suede Jungle Moc's in the same size, which actually feel tight and a little short. It's hard to buy on-line when there are differences between different products.

I bought this same shoe 10 years ago, and that one just feels better than the new pair. I suspect over time the fit and feel with improve. I wonder if the materials are different.

They were initially comfortable, but became loose after two days of wearing them. They seem wider than I would have expected for a form fitting mov. Great tread, look great.

Took awhile for them to break in and I'm still having rubbing issues between the top portion of the shoe and my front ankle when wearing them with & without socks

I've had numerous pairs of Jungle Mocs over the years.
- They look great
- Easy to put on
- *Very comfortablefor the most part
* (Here's your problems)
1. The shock absorbency really isn't that good.
2. Poor arch support. Sorry.
So I purchase inserts and other things to help the arch support and shock absorption, but there's something about the sole material that actually amplifies shock. Go figure.

I have bought these shoes for 10 years specifically because it has a sole that doesn't grab dirt and bring it into the house. Although the picture on the web site shoes the original diamond shaped sole they arrived with a different sole which has smaller dirt holding crevises. I have yet to decide whether to return them or not.

Stinky! After a few months these shoes stink. I always wear socks made of natural fiber but since these shoes are lined with synthetic materials it's like having a plastic bag around my foot trapping all the sweat. The womens version needs more color options too.

I have been a fan of jungle moc for many years. 6 months ago the pair I bought had zero support and I thought it was a one off. I bought another pair and the same result. I will need a working shoe for more support in the future

The only shoe I've worn for more than 20 years.From the day I tried my first Jungle Moc I've been hooked. My most recent purchase just doesn't really do it for me any longer, it's changed. They don't appear to make the wide widths of the past, I had to settle for a wide in a half size larger which really doesn't fit me like it should. I feel as thought I lost an old friend.

These shoes feel great in every way. From slip on and off, to walking in them, etc.
Unfortunately, the 'Dark Earth' color is far from what is pictured on the site. On the site it looks like a rich orangish-brown color which I really like. I decided to order online and not purchase from my local retailer because of the color. The shoe is more of a beige-brown. Much lighter than the picture.

Love the shoe but Merrell must not make the Vibram sole in this shoe anymore! Merrell makes it in the dry, cozy, and several other versions but WHERE is the Vibram sole??

I bought these for my husband because he has problems with his feet. He said he felt like he was going to fall over. I think it's because he has worn work boots his whole life and has no idea what a good pair of shoes feel like. Anyway I returned them

I like this shoe except for the insole cushioning. It feels like I'm walking on the outside sole of the shoe and I personally don't like it, others may like it. I would have preferred a thicken, softer cushioning, so that I don't feel like I'm walking on the bottom sole. Other than that, I like everything else about the shoe. It is lightweight and fits just fine.

I've ordered this exact same shoe several times over the years and have been very happy with them. This last pair, however, was as great as the others until a couple of days ago when the sole on one of the shoes started to squeak. At first I thought there was a pebble caught in it, but that wasn't the case. As far as I can tell, it's rubber rubbing against rubber, but I can't tell by looking at it where the problem is. I lived with it for a couple of days, hoping it would just go away, but it hasn't. So, I'm going to have to toss them and ding them a couple of stars.
In the past, a pair would last at least a year, sometimes two, and then I'd replace them simply for cosmetic reasons. This latest pair only made it about five months and still looks fine. Just ordered a new pair, though. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident.
