I replaced a pair of these that I loved and have worn out. The quality is similar but the fit has changed a bit. It used to run a little small and wide. This pair is a bit longer and narrower. Maybe more standard sizing. The front top of the shoe also comes up more to the ankle. The shoes work and will break in, just not the immediate comfortable fit the prior pair had.

This is my 4th or 5th pair of black Jungle Mocs. They fit my wide foot and high instep perfectly and are comfortable for all day walking. They are warm, I only wear them from October to April, but they are pretty waterproof and when new are good on ice or snow . My only complaint is that the treads on the soles wear off very fast. Although the uppers, inner soles and linings are very long lasting, after 12 months (2 winter seasons) of city walking they have no tread or grip and are treacherous on wet or icy pavements. Hence my 4th or 5th pair in the last 10 years.

The fit is fine with thin or medium socks.

I'm in HEAVEN with these mocs. I can't wait for the navy to come back in as I plan to buy another pain. My feet are a mess. My spinal cord was cut (accidentally) during a muti level spinal fusion and I ended up with drop foot. I wore the other foot out as well and had a tarsal release. My feet are FLAT and they lost padding. These are the BEST shoes ever for my situation. I can walk upright in comfort without fear of falling or wobbling, It's a miracle shoe. "Flat feet:? Exactly what I was looking for ... a well-made, easy to get on and off, casual, slip-on for fall and winter. I got the black pair, and I love the little bit of color that the pull-tag at the back brings to this shoe. Not really a beautiful style, but certainly comfortable and practical one - which is what I was going for. I was able to wear them outside on errands - right out of the box - with no probem at all. (FYI - I am usually a size 8.5, but I find w/ Merrell, going to a size 9 works best. This remains true w/ the Merrell Jungle Moc. ) Very happy with my purchase.

The Merrell Jungle Moc are my favorite shoes. I returned this particular pair because they only lasted 6 months. What do I use them for? I walk and I garden. I just do not understand why they did not last longer.

Fourth pair of this shoe, first in this color. Literally wore the other shoes out. Been wearing them for +10 years. Good investment. I wear them for work and leisure. Fits my bunion toe, wide enough for comfort. Always good arch support. You will not be disappointed.

These shoes are as describled. I am very happy with them and the shipping. I wish I could afford more merrell styles, I work buy more.

I was looking for a non-sneaker walking shoe or boot for "urban hiking". These are perfect. They hug your foot with the elastic but aren't tight, great arch support.

I ordered two pairs of the Jungle Mocs, in black and gunsmoke. I really love them. I usually wear a narrow width, but these Merrells in a medium work fine with a thicker sock. They are very comfortable and stylish. The suede is nice and soft. I will waterproof these. Very happy with my purchase.

I have a pair of Merrell mocs I’ve been wearing close to 15 years. I used them as camp shoes on backpacking trips ...and then just started wearing them all the time. There’s nothing wrong with them now; I just wanted to buy another color. The new ones aren’t quite as thick as the old ones - all the way around. But this also makes them a little lighter and sleeker without sacrificing quality as far as I can tell. I’ve only worn them a couple of times, but I’m looking forward to a long lasting, warm relationship.

Love these shoes, it's a replacement pair, that I've had at least ten years. Old pair still look great, the elastic is shot, but they have been awesome to wear while traveling on cobble stones or cement.

I can count on Merrell to make shoes that fit me. I have this in 2 colors. This particular model doesn’t have a Maine proof sole, so be careful on snow covered surfaces. You might think they are heavy, but they’re not. Very comfortable.

I've always worn an 8 in this shoe (I've had many over the years), but now a 9 fits just like the 8 used to.

I have worn these for at least 10 years and my children also wear them. My son wears nothing else all winter and loves being able to just slip these on an go to school. My daughter ran a road race in these and came in second and everybody was laughing at her choice of footwear! She was comfy! I waterproof these when I get them new (which isn't often, sorry Zappos). Most of the time I can get 5 years out of one pair. They are tight for me at the toes for the first week or so until I can fully break them in. I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. The heel is always comfortable for me from the first day and I truly appreciate all the padding. I have low arches and a neutral stance, but I love the height and stability I feel when I am wearing these, which is pretty much every day until sandal season. I wear bootcut jeans and they fit nicely underneath. They may look a bit odd with skinny jeans.

I love the Jungle Moc but I need an W width. Are you ever going to make them in W width?

I used to commute to work every day on the railroad, subway and walking. I started wearing these shoes 15 years ago and they are the best! Very comfortable, great support! You won’t be sorry.

I love Merrell Mocs. This one did not fit quite as well as the other pair I ordered.I wish they came in bolder colors. I would order more if they were more choices.

This is at least the fifth time I have ordered this shoe over the years. Absolutely love them -- comfortable fit, good support and great for hiking when one doesn't want to wear hiking boots.

I love my Jungle Mocs and have had 4 pairs over the years. They are easily the most comfortable, user friendly shoes I have ever owned. I have a slightly wide foot, and a high instep and arch. Why doesn't Merrell make some fun colors and color combinations for the ladies? I see there are some fun color combos for girls in the Sport Mocs and I would absolutely buy some fun sporty color combs for adults. I keep hoping and looking for them because I would buy them in every color!

These are seriously the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. As someone with messed up feet (fallen arch on my left foot, hallux rigidus in my right big toe) it's hard for me to find shoes that are comfortable for walking. I've walked between 5 - 10 miles a day in these and they feel wonderful.

I am very satisfied with these shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and wearing these shoes give me the comfort that I need. Minimal pain when walking. They are so comfortable. Keep us the good work, Merrell.

I bought these shoes to wear to work because we have to have all black or brown shoes, leather or suede. Best purchase I have ever made! I don't know why I ever suffered through wearing man's brown shoes I found on clearance! At the end of every work day I actually feel good enough to go home and do something and not just wanna sit down because my feet hurt!

For my foot, the 7.5 is a little larger than what I expected - keeping this size since it works both with lighter socks or heavier for the colder months. A great moccasin very easy to go on long walks and if you need to run, you can with these even if they're a little bigger.
