After ten years of faithful service through snow, rain, and mud, my old Merrell Jungle Mocs received a well-deserved retirement. The new ones are just as comfortable, this new color (Gunsmoke) won't show dirt, and I expect that they will serve me for many years.

I have problem feet and tender skin, so my needs are very particular, and my chances of finding comfortable shoes is very slim. Still, I keep trying, especially as my current shoe collection is wearing out and is no longer comfortable. My husband turned me onto these, as he owns several pairs, and recommended them for casual walking. They are affordable, compared with other walking shoes I've shopped for, so I gave these a shot. They're not girly, but they do the job. They are a perfect fit! I go between 7 and 7.5 and usually get a wide size, but got these in a 7.5M and they fit great! I'm keeping these for casual walking and would even wear them to work. I got the red because I have basic colors in other walking shoes, and these will not get confused with my husband's collection.

The sizing has changed in these since I bought my last pair and they run considerably smaller now. About 5 years ago I had a pair of Jungle Mocs in size 8 1/2 that fit perfectly so I ordered a 9 in hopes of being able to wear them with medium-thick wool socks. These are ridiculously short and tight in the width too. At the same time, I tried a few pair of the Jungle Moc 2.0 (unfortunately it is no longer carried by Zappos) and had to size down to a size 8 in those (with the same wool socks!) -- how can I wear an 8 in one model and a 9 1/2 in another?!! It really boggles the mind that Merrell sizing is all over the map like this. I love Merrell shoes and will continue to buy them because once I find the right size, they are the most comfortable shoes for my feet ever. But it is frustrating to deal with these widely varying sizing issues!

Great, super comfortable everyday shoes. They do run large so order 1/2 size down.

I have a very narrow foot but it is narrow in the heel and the instep, not so much in the spread of my toes. These shoes made my little toes hurt. The toe box needs to be wider. I am afraid if I order a bigger size, my heel will lift up out of the shoe. I tried both size 8 and 8.5.

I have worn Merrell Jungle Mocs for the last 20+ years. They have been my go to shoes. In the last year they have changed the location of where the shoes are manufactured and the modeling of the shoe. What were the consistently best walking shoes became shoes that actually hurt my feet. They are at least a half size smaller. The toe box is narrower and more rigid. The tops of my feet are recovering from the ways these caused strain and pain. I am no longer wearing these shoes!

This shoes are very comfortable, no "breaking-in" required. The arch support is excellent. I have a very narrow heel and often find that slip on shoes flip flop on my heel, these shoes come up high enough on the top of my foot that this is a non issue.

I must have 50 pairs of shoes and I keep coming back to my 2 pairs of jungle mocs. I wear them almost every day. They are literally the best, most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned. After 4 years, my black pair looks almost new and I have worn them in the jungle (fitting!), mud, rain, snow, sand...and with a slight brush up, they look great. Best shoes in the world.

After foot surgery my doctor told me to try these and I am so please. Plenty of toe room, so very comfortable for me. This is my second pair.

This is my 3rd pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs. I love them; however, I am wondering why you don't make them in a wide width. I have to order larger ones as I have a wide foot.

Super tight! I ordered the size 8 in medium width, never had a problem with this size until now. The shoe is so narrow and tight that it literally cuts the blood flow to my feet and makes my toes numb. The color is a lot lighter than I anticipated - like a white beach sand color. I will be sending these back and replacing for a wider darker shoe. Really shocked with this pair because I’ve never had a problem with Merrell. I’ve owned several pair and they’ve always been true to size.

Not the cutest shoes but they help my plantar fasciitis! They are comfortable!

My husband had them first and convinced me to get a pair. I just bought my second pair last month. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned.

I have worn Merrell's Jungle Mocs for years. The new design does not work for anyone with a high instep. I could not get my foot into the shoe. The current design comes farther up the ankle and is much tighter. Unfortunately, I have to return the shoe and continue wearing the older style which is still in good shape. I was hoping to get another color in the Jungle Moc.

This is my third pair of Jungle Mocs, though my first in the Sequoia color. Fit and width are on the money, even though my foot's shape (and arch height!) have changed a little since my first pair. Now that I'm older, I appreciate the sole design even more, as it makes me feel more sure-footed in slickish weather. In terms of color fidelity, the Sequoia photo on the Zappo's site is a little redder (on my monitor) than the in-person color (which leans more to Rust), but not enough of a difference to warrant returning them.

Took these on a ten day trek in Europe and wore them everyday! They are very comfortable and provide tremendous support.

I have owned and loved these shoes in the past, however this iteration has some design changes that make them unwearable in both my usual size (7.5) and the next size up (8). The (is it called the vamp/ or the tongue?) is too long and along with the top of the sides - especially the outside of the shoe - jams right into my ankle at the junction with the shin. Oww! Please correct these as soon as possible, I'd love to own another pair, but I've had to return these.

Zappos quickly resolved a wrong size delimma I had and by quickly, I mean in less than a week! I'd say this is very good customer service! And their prices with free shipping are hard to beat! I love my Merrells!

Such a good shoe, which I own in a number of colours. This is my regular shoe for work as a teacher and I receive compliments from students who like my shoes.

I first bought these shoes in a shoe store and have since ordered another pair from Zappos. A suggestion for those who wear small sizes: i wear a size 5-1/2 and bought a youth size 4, saved a good amount of money (paid 62% of the adult price). Same shoe, same comfort right out of the box, same quality. The arch support is amazing and really helps my unhappy hip. These are great shoes.

These are great shoes for light hiking, or just kicking around. I love that they just slip on. I also like the Merrel Encore Ice, but that is a bit more of a slipper type shoe, so this is more of a real shoe.

This is a very sturdy shoe. I have waited a long time to find a pair of Merrells which are perfect for me and I've found them. Since these are slip ons, they will probably loosen up a little, because they are tight on the top of the shoe. I can't say they are exactly a half size too small, because they aren't - only tight. The elastic gussets on either wide will probably loosen up over time and the shoe will be perfect. They are comfortable, the correct width and have great support. The traction on the shoe is superb. You'll like it and Zappos guarantees it.

I normally wear a size 10, but after trying on a 10.5 and an 11, I can say the size 11 fit. However, there were uneven lumps on the sole and inside the top edge of the shoe, making them very uncomfortable. I have worn Merrell Jungle Mocs for probably 15 years, and I must sadly say that I am done with them. The quality has sunk too low.

I've been wearing Merrell Jungle Moc's for over 25+ years, the best shoes for me! Great arch support and I always feel that my feet are well supported, having neuropathy in my feet, these make me feel very secure when walking!
