The section I would call the tongue has a design flaw. Where is the corners meet the elastic it's very hard and dug into the top of my foot as I was trying them on and walking around. It was very uncomfortable and made me send them back otherwise they seem to have good arch support and would've been quite acceptable except for that big discomfort.

Marked 12-1/2 was way too small. I have a closet full of 12-1/2 shoes. RETURNED! Obviously, no one cared.

I have had several pairs of these shoes but this last pair was not up to the level of quality of the previous pairs

This pair coming back - again. I have two pairs of 10.5 Wide Jungle Mocs. I Love Them! (And my several pairs of 10.5 Wide Moabs.) But I've ordered another pair of Jungle Mocs in the gray - twice! And twice they've been NG. The elastic is stitched in on both sides so it can't stretch; I can't get the shoes on my feet. (Probably from the same lot.) This time, I'll get a refund instead of an exchange, wait a couple of months, then reorder after that lot is cleared out (or scrapped).

Very poor construction. Toe kick came unglued after a few months of light use. The suede body does not wear all that well either. Very disappointing.

Ugly and uncomfortable. Wouldn't recommend to buy them.

Saw really good reviews and thought I'd give a try. Have like my Merrells before. Not these. It has been causing problems making my big toe pipe out of place. That doesn't happen when wearing other shoes. Just these.

It is not fit , so I tried to exchange to another size

Not worth the money, cheaply made, uncomfortable. Won't buy again.

When will the black stop bleeding into my socks? I have worn these about 25 days, and my socks still get black soak through on the top of my arch

I'm user of Merrel's Jungle Moc shoes for so many years and always loved it, I have never wore any other shoes except these but now i will have to find the option to switch because i have experienced degrading of quality in last two pairs I bought. One got extremely loose in sex months & the other one torned out from the tail end. Unfortunately I did not kept the receipt because I trusted this brand for so many years. I think their QC department need to work on this unless they can afford loosing loyal customers.

The latest incarnation of Jungle Mocs are far stiffer than in the past, and hence are about impossible to break in to a comfortable state. Too bad, I used to like them and now I am looking at other shoes.

THIS IS THE WORST SHOE I'VE EVER WORN. IT LOOKS NICE HOWEVER, WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO WEAR THESE IT IS LIKE WALKING ON ROCKS, THE INSOLE SIDE STEP IS A HORRENDOUS FIT,

I've owned several pars of jungle Mocs always keeping a spare because eventually they wear out. Great experiences until now,this last pair rubs up against the inside of my left rear foot to the point of blistering, hope it's a one off but can send pic of foot if they want it

Too big they say 10.5 but fit like 12s can't wear.

I had to return the shoes. I've had 7 pair of jungle moc nubuck and the pair I was sent were like standing on two pieces of plywood. My previous ones were super comfortable and I would get two years out of them wearing them almost every day.

I will have to look at an old pair I have at the other house though disappointed in color received (fudge J63829). Looks more like Gunsmoke to me. Figure they fit and feel as good as my old pair but color is NOT Fudge in my book nor the same shown on the site. More like an olive or slight gray. Roll the dice and you decide if you like what they send you.

I bought a pair of birthday cake Mocs. Now, I have standard boring feet. Size 9 men's shoe in normal width has always fit me, including with other Merrell products. My arches aren't high or flat. But lord almighty, the footbed is absolute hell on my feet after a walk around the block. My heel does not reach the bottom at the back of the shoe, and the molded arch contours dig right into my feet the entire time. The shoe is stylish and well constructed. I guess if you have really high arches these would be comfortable, but I wish Merrell was upfront about it. My rating is in part due to lack of ability to return for refund under Merrell's policy since I had to wear the shoes around to figure out how awful they are for me. Try in stores at all costs!

i know things don't last forever but when i purchase what i feel is way above the bar from "big box" stores...i expect them to last longer than a year. i purchased these a smidge over a year ago...truly very comfortable and supportive. i wear these for short walks, wear socks and carefully put them on and carefully take them off....i am EXTREMELY saddened that the heels inside them are shot...the fabric has torn and i can see blisters coming if i continue to wear them...i did notice the shoes are "out of exchange" time frame....looks like i will be looking for a different brand...step it up merrel!

The the Merrell that I am used to. The toe box is small and they don't breath!

I bought a10.5 wide, my size. Plenty wide and half inch space at toe. Shoe was tight across the top of my foot and was very painful. Every pair of Merrells I own have been very comfortable right out of the box. I wil return them. I might try the suede, might have more give across the top!!

Ordered two pairs. One pair fit fine. The other had one shoe smaller than the other. Too much hassle to send back, just donating to local charity. Never order shoes online. Lesson learned.

Absolutely disheartening. Three months ago this would have been a 4-5 star shoe without question. I have been buying these shoes routinely for most of my adult life now. They are comfortable, and considering they're "slip ons" they are remarkably secure and comfortable. Great traction, good fit in general, and reliable.... usually. This last pair I bought at the end of January were fine for the most part up until a few days ago when I noticed a hole had formed at the heel. This does tend to happen with these shoes.... after about a year and a half, sometimes longer. In almost a decade of wearing these shoes I have never had one fail in about two months like this. They're not "cheap" shoes, and have always held up really well in general. I would expect this from a knock-off or imitator, not the real deal. I have done nothing different in my walking habits, insole type, or sock types, but now there's a hole and discomfort while walking; it can't be good for foot health. I'm not sure if there has been a change in where/how they are made in recent years as others have guessed, or if this was just a bad batch, but this is disappointing and concerning. This has been a shoe that I have had cashiers mention that their boyfriends, friends, etc. all love and known for being reliable and versatile. Now I may have to see if there's anything out there that comes close or roll the costly dice again.

I am having trouble keeping them clean. A drop of something fell on the right shoe. I telephoned Merrill and was told to use a gentle soap and water. That did not work. Naturally I am disappointed.

Less than one month and 50 miles (I wore boots more often in this time) and the soles are flat on the heels; the sole material is too soft.
