Right out of the box, these rubbed my heels and gave me major blisters. I wore socks with a thick back today and they seem to be OK, but I wouldn't call them super duper comfortable for my feet. They are pretty stylin'. They seem to be normal in terms of length, but kind of tight on top, like the zipper changes the movability.

I loved this style when Merrell made them in all leather. This is not leather. The mesh is ventilated. It is comfortable and fit the same. I miss the all leather style.

Very difficult to find a slip on shoe that fits properly. Toe box is nice and roomy; however, the instep is not high enough, unable to zip shoe.

I consider my feet to be thin and narrow (size 7) however, this shoe is very narrow in my opinion and after few hours not comfy. Nothing special about ARCH support. My lifestyle is limited with health issues. One doesn't realize how we take bending for granted until titanium from neck to pelvis - endless limitations so frustrating - especially when TRYING to put shoes on feet using 30" shoe horn. Cannot use lace ups, and learning zippers don't work...but grateful for ZAPPOS exceptional service and patience.

The Merrell Barrado silver is wonderful shoe. As many have said, it provides style and comfort. Very versatile and easy on your feet. This is my third pair. As I now need a wider shoe, I went up a size and it fits okay. The zipper is very convenient. I wear with capris, slacks, shorts. I recommend this shoe.

Very comfortable and cute. But they squeak! Every step elicits a squeak. These may not be the best choice if you'll be wearing them in quiet places.

I had bought this shoe years ago and loved the fit. I ordered the next size up as it was feeling snug. With the next size up, however, heal is slipping even though the toe room is good. I will be keeping it but will have to wear it with socks.

I had to put in my orthotics because I have bad arches. I love the look and feel and how they zip up. My problem with them in less than a year I had to give them up because they didn't hold my feet from leaning so that I actually feel when slightly unbalanced on a walk on a regular sidewalk. I have lots of Merrell's and this is the only one that hasn't supported my ankle. So if you have strong ankles and you have a decent arch I would say get this pair of shoes for sure.

These are good looking sleek shoes but they're a little over the top for me with the big logo M on the side. They were also a little tight in the front portion, even though I don't have wide foot. The larger size was too loose in the heel/ankle portion for me to be really comfortable.

These shoes are cute, lightweight, and reasonably comfortable. They don't provide the support that I need for walking a long distance but good for mix of sitting and walking. I had to exchange the first pair for a larger size because the length was too short. The correct size is larger than I have ever worn. Thanks, Zappos, for making the exchange so easy. I love the styling of this shoe! The fit is a bit snug from side to side. After wearing it all day, the back of the shoe rubbed a bit and I will try a slight pad in the heel to raise my heel a little. I still love the look!

I used to have another shoe like this from Merrell so I got this one. For some reason I can't get the left one zipped all the way but it's only a little bit unzipped so I can't wear them. Maybe my left foot is wider. The back of the shoe is digging into my heal a little since I first started wearing them but I am hoping that they will break in. Otherwise they are comfortable.

I like a shoe with more total sole support and padding. This just didn't quite meet that need.

Excellent Zappos.com experience from online info and order process to delivery. Shoes are exactly what I expected (I have another pair) except this pair is proving harder to break in -- heel area is stiff.

I'm a fan of Merrell footwear generally, and I bought these for a trip to Europe, where I did a lot of walking in hot weather. Pluses: they are lightweight, easily packable, breathable, and moderately cushy. Minuses: the zip closure is convenient but does not allow adjustments for fit. After a couple of days I felt that my feet were sliding around in them slightly (I wondered if the shoes had stretched a bit), and I ended up with a blister between my toes. My take is that these are great for summer getaways and short walks, but for long urban or country hikes a more sturdy lace-up shoe would perform better.

Purchased these for a work trip that involved a lot of walking. I like that they blend in nicely with a pair of slacks and have a fashionable sensibility. These are excellent for going through security at airports where you have to take off your shoes and get them back on fairly quickly. They could use little more cushion on the soles but that would probably make them look more like a traditional athletic sneaker or an "old lady" shoe. Don't make the mistake of thinking these shoes will support your feet during a long, vigorous workout! I won't give it five stars because the zipper rubs a little and wearing thick socks isn't comfortable in this lightweight shoe. They may even run a little tight. Overall, a stylish, sleek, walking shoe.

These shoes look nice, but were more feminine than I like, and flimsier than they look in the photo. I thought they suited my style from the photo, but not when I got them on my feet. They did feel good and they were comfortable. I gave them to a friend who absolutely loves them. So they are great for some, not for me.

These shoes are cute and streamlined. I wear an 8.5 N and the 8.5 fit perfectly. They were comfortable, but not supportive enough for my high arches. I wanted so bad for them to work, but I wanted more padding in the heel and more arch support, so I'm sending them back.

Comfortable, lightweight shoe. Seems true to size. You'll want a comfortable very low rise sock/footie to wear with them.

Great walking shoe. Snug fit. Doesn't allow room for socks. I wear mine without socks without any problems. The shoes breath well.

I loved the look, I loved the fit, but tended to make my foot pronate. Not enough support on the inner side. Sadly, I had to return it.

Loved the shoes but I have a high instep and could not zip them after putting them on. Returning pretty shoes.

Cute shoe - This is a great looking shoe and lightweight too, but it doesn't have a lot of arch support. They are easy to get off and on and I do really like them a lot and would like to have them in other colors!
