Very Comfortable - These shoes are very comfortable and so easy to wear with any summer outfit. From shorts to skirts these shoes will be your first choice for summer wear. One thing that really surprised me with these shoes is their feminine look when on the foot; the maryjane type styling is really cute. So you get comfort, sporty durability and a feminine look all in one shoe. Also these keep your feet really cool. There is only one draw back to these shoes, if you have a high instep, like I do, the strap just barely covers over the foot, so I would advise Merrell to make the strap a little longer.

Great looks, not quite great comfort - Terrific looks, but the mesh was a little rough on my bare foot (I do have sensitive skin, easily get blisters). Not a shoe for long walks on pavement, not as much padding as most Merrells.

Overall I was pleased with the look of the shoe. The only complaint is that the shoe size runs a little large so you may want to go a 1/2 size smaller when ordering the shoe.

Disappointment - This shoe was a major disappointment. I am looking for comfortable walking shoes that aren't tennis shoes, and I hoped these would work out, but they didn't. First, I ordered my usual size (8), and I ended up having to go down a full size for them to fit. However, although a size 7 fit, these shoes were not comfortable. I have really high arches, and my feet were rolling inward as I tried to walk in this shoe, which I'd hoped wouldn't happen because Merrell's are typically very comfortable and fit well. But no luck, so I will look to other brands. However, Zappos was amazing as I ordered these shoes on Saturday and saw them when I returned home from work on Monday!
