Very comfortable hiker - great for wide feet - I ordered this shoe and a Columbia because they were available in extra wide sizes, which I usually need. Kept this one because it was by far the more comfortable shoe for my size 13-wide feet. It was a little more expensive, but also was more attractive for everyday wear. After a couple weeks of almost daily use, I really like this boot. Haven't done any serious hiking yet, but great for everyday use.

Very Comfortable - These shoes are very comfortable. I love the thick padding on the sides of the ankle area. Traction is good, fairly lightweight, and warm. My only complaint is that the sizes seem to run about a 1/2 size small, but this seems to be typical with vibram soled shoes.

Comfortable and very warm - These Merrells are perfect fit for size 13 not too big, not too small. Great for long walks in the woods in cold wet conditions. Very comfortable and good traction. Totally waterproof, your feet stray dry. I give them 5 stars.

Merrell Radius shoe - I don’t wear anything but Merrell, since I've started wearing them I don’t have back problems like I used to...being a UPS driver I know what a good shoe feels like...thanks for the great price and wonderful service...

Good fit - I feel that finally I have a good fit and a quality shoe that will hold up throughout the day. With my job I walk between 12-16 miles a day a good shoe is the key.

Pleased with quality and price - The Merrell boot fits wonderfully, good arch support, warm for fall and continues to maintain its quality. This is my third pair of this or a similar style and I am completely pleased with my choice.

Comfortable Boots - The boots are lightweight and fit well. Perfect for hiking and walking.

Great hiking boot, waterproof, and warm - I bought these to go on a two month cross-country tour of the United States, and I went hiking every chance I could. I visited 10 National Parks and hiked a lot of trails. These boots were great. They are really comfortable and supportive. They held up well, although it's only been a few months that I've had them. My only complaint is that they are very warm and I wore them in summer weather, so my feet were too warm. They are highly water resistant which was also very nice. I'm very pleased with this boot. I got a wide width which fit my feet perfectly.

I'm normally a size 15, but these felt substantially smaller than that. They seemed to be very well made, but had very little arch support.

Expected Better - Nice looking shoe, but expected it to be more comfortable than advertised and from user’s reviews. I have not gone hiking yet, but traction on city slippery surfaces was poor. Good shoe, but not an excellent shoe.

Good Boots - My winter work boot of choice. I have bought these boots several times before. Really like them. I live in the Northwest and work in the wine industry so I am in the vineyards tromping around. They work great.

Seems great at first - This boot was for my husband who has hard to fit feet (wide and with wide toe region); he felt the boot was ideal at first, very comfortable from the start. However the next day of wearing the top of one instep started to hurt. So this will be a boot for shorter times rather than long treks.

I have ordered this brand for the first time. I like the look of the boot and the comfort of the boot is good. The only issue that I have is that they are a bit small. I do have a large foot (size 15) and I know that the manufacturer looks to cut cost, but the boot size is not an area to do it. I have used these boots and the padding is great. A lot of support. A bit warm, but it is a waterproof boot so I don’t complain. I would ask that the company make sure that the larger size guys get a good fit. I can make do, but when going down hill my big toe does hit the end of the boot. I like the boot and would suggest that folks buy them, but just make sure that you order them a half size bigger, which I can’t do because they stop at 15!!!

Very comfortable boot. I walk all day on all types of terrain and these boots are very comfortable. The boots claim to be waterproof, but I have had two pairs and they both leaked. However, the comfort more than makes up for it.

Extremely Comfortable - I have owned this boot for about 2 years, and I have had no complaints about the comfort and performance until now. I was about 5 miles into a hike and the boot tore open about 4 inches between the upper and the midsole. This made for a very uncomfortable hike down. I love how comfortable this boot is, but I am not very confident in its durability.

Sizes are small---order up - I've owned many pairs of Merrell boots and will buy more probably. This particular boot has the potential to have been my all time favorite except...it's too tight. I've been wearing them for awhile hoping they would stretch but no. A size 11 wide is more like a 10 1/2 narrow.

Changed Merrells - This is my third set of Merrell boots and the only pair I've been unpleased with. The insoles have been redesigned and the boot simply no longer fits my foot properly and is extremely uncomfortable which is very unfortunate as these were superb boots before. The left boot feels like it is continually twisting on my foot, I've added arch supports that help a little but doesn't completely solve the problem. I would not recommend these boots.
