I bought these a size larger than my usual size based on other comments and am happy I did. They go on and come off easily with heavy socks. There is a little wiggle room, but not too much. My not skinny jeans fit into the boots without any difficulty. Bought these to replace a lighter weight pair of Boggs to keep my feet warm and dry in our cold winter. (Based on friend reviews!)

Perfect boots for horsewomen! These boots have a different type of sole that keeps you from sinking so deep into that really bad mud (the kind that sucks your boots off) Highly recommend. Comfortable and no break-in time. Absolutely waterproof. Wish my old Muck boots had worn out sooner so I could have been enjoying these! Only thing I'd change is I wish they came in half sizes.

I've been wearing these boots for some weeks in snowy, absolutely freezing weather--and I love them. They really are comfortable and they really are easy on/easy off. With a full length coat, they pretty much help the wearer be insulated from the freezing cold head to toe. They are also going to be great, I can tell, when thawing turns my dirt road into a river of mud. Highly recommended!

I returned these. I am usually an 8 and the 9 fit well with socks, perhaps a touch big. I have big calves and these did indeed stretch around the calf and would have been comfortable. They were too clunky and unfashionable for what I was going for. Otherwise, they had better support than any other rain boot I've tried on and were comfortable and well made.

I'd originally bought the Plimsoll style from another seller but the fit was pretty awful for me. I don't think I have particularly high arches, but I simply could not get my foot past the ankle part of the boot when wearing winter socks. Even when I switched to my lightest wool socks, my foot felt pinched, once I was able to jam it into the foot of the boot. Definitely not comfortable. I normally wear a size 7 shoe and boot, but knew I wanted space for a heavier sock, so I first tried a size 8. Way too small! I exchanged them for a size 9, but even that seemed more snug than I really wanted - plus, the boot looked huge on my foot. I've noticed a few other reviewers mentioning the Plimsoll style as a problem for them, so I returned the size 9 and ordered a size 8 in the traditional Bogs Classic High boot from Zappos. The traditional style has been GREAT - warm and comfortable with a medium-weight wool sock. I spend a lot of time out in fields with my dogs, so warmth and comfort is a must, and the Bogs Classic fit the bill beautifully.

This is my 4th pair of these boots. They are the BEST! I walk my dog 3+ times a day in Chicago in every kind of weather. I walk through snow and ice and my feet are always warm and dry. My only complaint is that I go through the tread on the bottom pretty fast but that is probably because I wear them so much and we walk a lot every day.

Love this boot. I compared it to the Bogs Handle and this one was higher on the leg. I found it very comfortable for short hikes in wet, swampy conditions. I usually wear a 6 but ordered a 7 to allow for thick socks.

My son has worn Bogs for the last two winters and really likes them. They are warm, easy on/off, and waterproof! I am trying several styles of Bogs for my own new winter boots, and I have not yet decided whether to keep these or the fancier Plimsoll style. Some of the less insulated rain boot styles are even cuter, but I need practical, warm snow boots. I would say all the styles I tried are equally comfortable and sized the same, true to size in my opinion.

I have a lot of high end boots, all bought on Zappos, but I have to say that the Bogs classic boot is still my favorite! I can get down on "the farm" in 'em and never have to worry about discomfort or cold, wet feet. They are like the Humvee of boots! It's like I'm like a moose and can go anywhere in the woods with them on my feet!

These are the most wonderful boots! I wish I had found them years ago. It would have saved me from buying inferior boots that didn't meet my needs or expectations. I have always found it puzzling that snow boots are often short in height while rain boots are usually tall. These are tall and warm: just perfect for the kind of snow that we get in WI. They were comfortable right from the start too. I can tuck my pant legs inside of them and stay totally dry in deep snow. I may not want to go back to my rain boots come spring! These are so nice!

Love the boots. The only thing I would mention is that the seam rubbed on the back of my leg and caused a blister. This was remedied by taking foam bandage tape and covering the seam. They were great in our recent snow storm and they kept my feet warm and dry in the deluge of rain that followed the three days of snow. I love they way they fit and feel confident that I'll get many years of use out of them. They are functional; they are bulky; however, I can drive in them. They are not fashionable.
