Nice support in the sole. Wide calf does not seem very wide. I have a painful dent in the top of my right calf after wearing the woman's wide calf model.

Really wanted to keep these! But the calf was too narrow. I don't have large calves but they are athletic. Just needed to be about an inch wider.

I consistantly wear a size 9 in all brands. I ordered a 10 in these boots and they are too tight overall with no chance of stretching. Very disappointing.

I got a pair of Bogs about four years ago to wear while working at a barn and as a snow/rain boot. However, almost immediately I noticed that the inside of my boot always ended up damp even without submerging the full foot of the boot in any water, and without any evident cracking or damage. In addition, my feet end up freezing within a few minutes of being outdoors in any weather. Every winter I pull them back out in hopes that there will be a turning point, as everyone seems to rave about how warm Bogs are. My mom recently bought a pair and let me try those out for a few weeks as well, but both of us experience the same freezing feet and damp interior. Unfortunately will be continuing to buy other boots.

I wore these in the snow at 30F. My feet were so cold I couldn't feel them other than pain when I walked on them. I had to end sledding with my children early because my feet were so cold. I was really disappointed. They're comfortable and give you the flexibility to move around easily- just not for cold weather.

I don't know how, but I seem to be one of very few people who do not like Bogs. I remember trying on a friend's when she first got them, and loving them, but I had only used them to go to the mailbox and back in the snow (as they were easy to slip on). I finally got my own Bogs a few years later and paid full price for them, although I did get mine through a company that supplies Bogs. I have had mine for just about 2 years now and have already purchased different winter boots. Before the end of my FIRST winter with them, my Bogs had split on the tops of the foot of both boots. Not only that but the liner covering the rubber on the inside of the boot where the heel of your foot would go wore out within days. This is not a huge deal since I am, of course, wearing a good sock with my boots, but the rubber grips my socks and causes them to bunch up. I found them to be extremely slippery on any kind of hard packed snow or ice, and my feet freeze in them no matter the temperature. If it's a chilly Fall day, my feet will freeze in Bogs. I purposefully looked for a boot that could handle cold weather and these have a negative 40 F rating. To be fair, my feet tend to be cold no matter what, but some boots help more than others. Bogs seem to make that problem worse for my feet. Additionally, I don't believe they are completely waterproof, as I walk the lake shore often and find my feet damp every time I do this. I don't submerge my boots completely either.
On a positive note, the boots do fit very nicely and are stylish as well as comfortable and easy to slip on and take off. I am not one to choose a boot for style over functionality, so this is why my review is negative. I live in a cold and rugged area and rely heavily on a good boot to get me through Winter. I now use these only when I need to put shoes on in a hurry, or for gardening.

Should of made the boot so your feet and breath, very hot , will be good in winter time, but not in summer as a work boot.

I purchased this for my husband to use when he shovels the snow and to go sledding with our daughter with minimal use after three months I picked up the boots to store them in the right place when I noticed a giant hole inside each boot I contacted bogs I had to repackage send out and wait for them to receive it and resend I've had previous boots such as my daughters baby bogs sole separate from the boot and my boots feel wet at the tips after walking in the snow for a while also they are not warm at all. I put my whole family in bogs after switching from sorels as they gave us super cold feet but once we are done with these boots I will never purchase from them again as I expect products to last. They are great at replacing items but for a month or so you're left with no product will be taking down my reviews for bogs about how amazed I am with them as after using I've been deeply disappointed

I have used Bog boots forever, in particular this style and color...this new tread pattern introduced from 2013 on will wear out within a year. Pairs bought prior to 2013 had a different tread...lasted 3 years - and I wore them EVERYDAY of a winter season...which is about 5 months long here. I am looking for other options.

I loved these boots when I first got them, and got lots of compliments on them. They fit great, were comfortable, and really warm. They were initially waterproof, but after only a few months they started to wear. Now I really can't wear them in wet conditions (which is why I bought them, living in Seattle). They have started coming apart at the seams which let water in. That means I end up with cold and wet feet.

I purchased these for a backpacking trip to Alaska as well as slogging around at home in Oregon. They are too short and very wide for my foot. They seem like they are identical to the men's bogs, which seems to defeat the purpose of ordering women's sizes online. They are also very heavy.

I don't go crazy with these boots, but I do shovel around my car, feed the chickens, load the wood boiler, drive all over creation and go to work in these boots....
Every day, they get wet. If snow melts on them, the inside is wet. I don't understand it. Seems to be no other comments on this problem...are mine just defective?
They are super comfortable. These boots are fabulous when it comes to driving a car with a clutch. You can still feel your clutch!!!
As I've said, my feet get wet. The boots do stay warm while they are wet....which is good I guess? Cold wet feet aren't the problem. Just wet!

Im done with leather and trying to find a stitched TRULY waterproof boot. So I was excited to try these.
I'm usually a size 10. I tried size 9, 10, and 11. In every size my heel lifted up with every step like I was wearing Flip-flops.
I don't know how anyone could tolerate walking around and working in these all day with such a loose fit.
I suppose this is what makes them slide on and off easily, but if I cant work in them they are useless to me.
I like the style, but they just didnt fit. They probably are warm and waterproof, but I will never know. Disappointed.

I needed a pair of boots for walking around the beach while not in my fishing waders. I love the look of the boot and the leg material but it was difficult to get in and out of, not what I needed, foot bed is comfortable. It was difficult to get my foot into the foot area tight and had to cross my legs to pull off. Crossing legs is a little hard for me after the hip replacement of 2 years ago. I have larger calfs (17" with jeans) and thought they might stretch some but no. I had ordered 3 styles: this, the Hunter Original Back Adjustable and Hunter Huntress. Wound up selecting the Huntress.
I'd also recommend:

They are very comfortable and warm. They were warmer than my Sorel winter boots, even when wet. Easy to take off and put on when wet. They WILL get wet. I do a lot of outdoor stuff. Getting firewood, dog mushing, hiking, boating, fishing and hunting in dry, wet, cold and hot conditions. Tundra, swamp, mountaint, city, gravel, all of it. All kinds of weather conditions. I wore these boots almost every day over all kinds of terrain for half a year before they got their first leaks. They would be great for occasional use, but they are not good for constant working. The rubber wore out first on the top curve where my ankle meets my shin, then the heels went, then along the edges. I might as well be walking through the swamp in my sneakers. I threw them out today and I'm buying myself some sturdy mucks or something that's MEANT to be abused. If you want something trendy and stylish, comfortable and warm to wear occasionally, this is a good pair, but if you are working outdoors a lot, get something else.

I am a size 7 and 1/2...the 8's were way too tight. I returned them for a size 9. The size 9 fits fine but they don't keep my feet warm at all. I am pretty disappointed. They promise -40 and I can hardly go out of the house at any temperature and have my feet stay warm.

These were great out of the box--everything I wanted and more than expected. If only they would have lasted. I have had the same trouble with all the Bogs I have gotten--none have lasted more than 3-4 months of moderate wear. They start to crack along the seams. I have not had this trouble with other, similar brand-name boots. Very disappointing.

I bought my boots to wear. Although they are super comfortable, the bottom of the sole wore out within 5 weeks. It made for a very slippery boot in the water, even worse on ice. I live where it is cold and snowy. The boots are not as warm as you would think, but most winter boots do not live up to thier ratings. They would be the best boots ever if the tread hadn't worn so fast.

These boots would have been great except that the plastic cracked and split open just above the big toe area on both boots. I had only been wearing them a month when the cracks started (and only for walking the dog and riding my bicycle to work in the rain). Now, 6 months later, the cracks are huge and gaping and the boots are no longer waterproof. I am pretty disappointed. These boots cost 5 times what I spent on my last pair of rainboots, and those boots lasted longer.

I've been searching for a boot that keeps my feet warm and dry in winter that have at least a little style (i.e. could be worn both with casual and more formal wear), so I thought I'd give these a try. The boots kept my legs nice and warm, but my toes were absolutely freezing in -20 weather (the boots are rated for -40)... much worse than my previous pair that was only rated for -20!!! I think it was all the extra roominess in the toe area of the boot that allowed cold air to circulate. I only wore them once and I'm taking them back. If you're looking for a sturdy boot to keep to dry in mild (slushy) winter weather, then go for it, otherwise don't bother.

I think Bogs must run really small. I wore these for an 8 hr shift at the boarding facility I work at and only 3 hrs in the pain and discomfort were enough to make my consider amputating my feet.

I know my size in Muck and Hisea so I thought I'd give these a shot. They are def a size too small, and now it's going to cost me $10 to return and the correct size is out of stock. Waste of my time. :(

I have always loved Bogs. I have two dogs regularly needing to get outdoors and my trusty boots by the back door are worn in all types of weather. You have significantly changed this boot. It is much heavier, tighter in fit, and the material in which it is made (not neoprene) is cheaper in design. I won't be replacing my old boots anytime soon.
