Classic Cordovan Cabrio - I love this shoe. It looks dressier than the other Dansko's I own. The color blends with my browns, pinks and reds in outfits and skirts. The color reminds me of the traditional ox-blood of the classic loafer. The strap helps hold Marcelle in place so my foot doesn't slip forward. I will say the shoe rubs a bit on my bunion on the left foot, but I use a lot of lotion to help that issue if I am wearing it bare-footed. As an all-day walking shoe, this style is not good for me, but it is good for an afternoon of shopping or an evening that includes some walking. I have large bunions, and so I can't wear pumps or flats when dressing up. The right Mary Jane shoe is my answer for that issue, and I plan my outfits around this look. This Marcelle Mary Jane works for me. It has a good arch support and a nicely raised heel that is a bit dressier than those other flat Mary Janes. So go ahead and order them.

Dansko Marcelle - It is my 3rd pair of Dansko clogs and I continue to love them. Great fit, great look! I have had lots of compliments. My only question would be the correlation between the European sizing scale and the American sizing. I wear a 9 in American sizing and a 40 in European sizing. I think your suggestion was a 39. Since I already had 2 pairs of Dansko clogs, I felt comfortable in ordering a 40.

My most favorite shoe! I love these shoes and wear them with both jeans and khaki's. They are very comfortable (more-so than the Dansko Professional), and my feet do not hurt after wearing them for nine or more hours. Overall, a great shoe and worth the money!

Comfortable yet stylish - This shoe is great for people who are on their feet all day and want to look stylish.

Great support! The arch support in these shoes are great. The leather is a little stiff, so I think they'll become a little more pliable with more wear. They're stylish and sensible... a rare combo!

Comfy! Comfy! Comfy! I was told by other teachers that Dansko’s are the best to wear for school- We haven't started classes, but I wore them to the Mall of America for their first time out and they were great!

Very Comfortable Mary Jane Style Shoes - This is my second pair of Dansko Marcelle -- Mary Jane Style Shoes. They are very cute with skirts or cropped pants. I wear them year round -- in the summer with those ballet style foot coverings and in the winter with tights. I have a lot of people ask me wear I have gotten them and how cute they are. They are worth the price --- great quality shoes.

Dansko review - Shoes are cute and comfortable and look nice with skirts and pants. The latigo brown has a reddish hue to the leather, but I still think it matches everything! When buying Dansko clogs, go up one size from street shoes for the best foot rocking action.

My favorite Dansko - I've had several pairs of Danskos in the past years, and this is far and away my favorite. Somehow, the fact that the Marcelle covers less of your foot than the Professional makes it more comfortable, and the Mary Jane style isn't too little-girlish. IMO, the top compliments the always-comfortable sole perfectly. Absolutely the best!

Every time I see this shoe I get a lump in my throat. I think to myself, "I own that". I have the Marcelle in the red patent, black, and brown. My husband and I took our babies on a college tour back east and I wore the brown ones with gauchos. I looked so cute. These are kind of like baby doll shoes or Bratz doll shoes and I love them. They are kind of an acquired taste and you must wear them with the right pants, but when you do they are SO ADORABLE. People love the red patent ones. They are so shiny. Of course, most importantly, they are super comfortable. The toe box is wide, the heel slips like Danskos are supposed to. I can walk for miles. I wear a 9 so I ALWAYS order a 40.

Adorable - I have always been a fan of the Professional clog and still am...but these fit just like the Professional and are a little more feminine...I have tried many of the other Dansko styles but the heels are never as comfortable as the Professional clog and my new great discovery the Marcelle which has the same style heel as the clog...if you love the clogs like me you will love these too.

Dansko Marcelle is the best shoe ever! A few years ago, I bought a pair of Dansko Marcelle clogs. I had heard that Dansko's were comfortable and tried the regular professional clog style on even though it isn't my style, plus it is too wide for my feet. Then came Marcelle... I have a high arch and due to 20 years of running outdoors, my feet ache if I don't wear shoes with good arch support. Not easy to find! Once I put the Marcelle on, I couldn't take them off! I can walk miles in them and often do. I started to wear longer skirts because I don't think they look great with shorter ones - I altered my wardrobe to wear these shoes! Nothing compares. I just got the Cordovan Cabrio today and they are great! They are a deep, rich wine-brown color. I also have a pair of Marcelle’s in black. I get lots of compliments on them. I do think they are a bit chunky, yet much cuter than the regular clogs - I don't know what I'll do if Dansko ever stops making them because no matter how hard I search, I can't find anything I like as much as these. They are a touch wide for me (I have a narrow foot) and I wear them with socks. If you have that problem, just tighten the strap. Each pair is different, try a few pairs on. I usually wear a size 7 and take a 38 in these. Sometimes I've had Zappos send a few pairs until I get one that fits just right. The ones I received today are just perfect! Buy these shoes! You will love them! Very cute kind of Dutch turned-up toe.

Super comfy and cute - The strap rubs at first, hoping it will break in with a few more wears. I love it in cordovan-it goes with everything - skirts & jeans. So comfy to wear all day. I work at a theater and these really help keep my feet happy as I run around on show days.

My first pair of Danskos! I ordered these Tuesday morning and the box was here this afternoon (Thursday) when I got home from work. Thanks Zappos! I wear a size 9 shoe but ordered a 40 after trying on my friend's size 39s. So far they feel fantastic, hopefully I will have no more tired feet after work.

Dansko Marcelle - I got these in black patent for my waitressing job. I've been working in black patent slip-on flats, making my heels and arches ache! These shoes have excellent arch support! I like that all of my weight is taken off of my heels, too. And I don't mind the Dansko-heel-moving-up-and-down-the-back. I will probably only wear them for work and maybe with jeans but not with skirts because I'm short and skinny and they make my feet look out of proportion (huge) compared to the rest of me; I look like a little girl, which is maybe a look some want to go for, but that's not for me.

I think if you are a Dansko wearer who is accustomed to the fit of the Professional clog, these shoes will not disappoint. I have mixed luck with other Danskos, especially the sandals, but these fit great right out of the box.

I love my shoes - I love this shoes they are extremely comfortable. I have a lot of compliments, my coworkers never stop telling me how beautiful they are... I have no more tired feet... you are going to love it.

I (heart) Dansko! This is my 4th pair of Danskos. LOVE THEM. I wear the professional clog in a size Narrow 39. So, I was worried that this shoe would fit differently because it didn't fit across the top of the foot in the same way...Dansko doesn't disappoint! I put the shoes on and IMMEDIATELY loved the patent leather look! So cute. The shoe bed feels the same way as the professional clog. Your heel slides up and down like the clog, but the difference is that the shoe stays on your foot using the strap. It takes a little getting used to, but just tighten the strap and you're ready to go. I love the look of trendy shoes (Kenneth Cole, etc) and I have a "thing" for Mary Janes, but my flat feet won't let me wear heels!! So, I'm glad Dansko is starting to make cuter styles. ZAPPOS IS THE BEST...fast returns, great service, and wonderful selection!

Fantastic Shoe - This a great shoe! I am in healthcare and spend a lot of time standing and walking. My feet hardly feel like I've done anything at the end of day with these shoes. Only drawback for high-instep people is where the front-part stops may dig into your foot a little. Overall a fantastic shoes.

Very happy with this Dansko! This is a great Dansko! I have several pairs of Professionals and this is a nice change. The patent leather is fun and I have received so many nice compliments. The Mary Jane style is like the patent leathers I had as a kid-only cooler and more comfortable. Looks great with skirts or pants. The toe box is wide enough and feels like the regular professional style. Toe box is shorter and hits across the middle part of the top of the foot-a little different feel than the professional. My first purchase from Zappos and I'm hooked.

It was not love at first sight, but... I admit, straight out of the box, I was not impressed, but as soon as I put them on my feet, they screamed yes! Yes!! YES!!! And surprisingly they looked a lot better ON my feet, too. They are actually elegant enough to wear with a skirt/dress. Mine are in patent leather, which adds a little "glamour" and makes them easy to maintain on trips. The thick sole keeps your feet above puddles and they are just soo comfortable on both feet (I have a bunion on one). No blisters on the back of my heel or between my toes or anywhere else for that matter. They make me want to walk forever. The only thing I would change might be the clasp… Certainly, this shoe (as most others) isn't for every foot, but if you walk with your toes pointed straight forward, you should give them a chance to charm you, too. They are amazing and well made.

Great shoe!! Felt great right out of the box--wore them all day and they felt like they had been made especially for my feet. Highest marks!

Cute and comfortable - I have a few pairs of Danskos, and the Marcelle is by far my favorite. They are very cute, and look good with pants or skirts. They were comfortable right out of the box; there was no break in period. This is a first for me; even my Dansko professional clogs gave me blisters at first. I wear a size 7.5, but I bought the size 37, because Danskos in 38 feel too big on me after I have worn them a few times. Size 37 was perfect, but I only wear the Marcelle’s with Peds or thin socks. I would need to go up a size to wear them with thick socks. Zappos shipping time was awesome as usual!

Dansko Marcelle Review - I love this shoe. I started to wear Dansko shoes when I got Plantar F. These great shoes and a lot of stretching cured my ailment. For me, while I normally would wear a 41, I found the 42 was much more comfortable.
