Great for standing in one place - I bought my Dansko clogs on the recommendation of my hair stylist. After wearing them, I understand why she loves them. They are great if you have to stand in one place for long periods of time. I live in Chicago so I wait for busses, sometimes for 45 minutes when it is in the middle of the day. Standing on a concrete sidewalk is very tiring, and while I don't like the long waits, I have noticed less fatigue after wearing these clogs. I don't find them really, really comfy for a lot of walking, but with the right socks and band aids (I get blisters), I've managed okay. This is probably due to the shoes only being available in even sizes and so I had to order a half size larger. It felt wider than it should, but that also could be due to having had to order the next even size up. I walk a lot, so I am comparing this to my favorite New Balance shoes or even my Privo’s.

The best Dansko shoe I own - The Marcelle is a great shoe! It's the perfect shoe for my feet. I especially like the height and the color is versatile. I can wear it with everything I own, except cocktail dresses. I have the Sonja clog and the Giselle; both of which I really like; the Giselle is a Mary Jane. When the Sonja irritated the bunion on my left foot I ordered the Marcelle because I had such a positive experience with the Giselle. The Marcelle has enough room for my bunion. Even though the leather is stiff, I wore the shoe right out of the box and my bunion has not bothered me at all. Also great...it doesn't make my size 9 feet look huge. I have the Sonja in 40 because it has no back; but, with the Giselle and Marcelle, the 41 works better for me. The strap helps to keep the shoes on my feet. Although the Giselle doesn't require thick socks, I wear a thicker sock with the Marcelle and it works quite nicely. I also have rheumatoid arthritis and the shoes have not bothered my feet at all. I can wear the shoes for 12 hours and still feel comfortable at the end of the day. Zappos has been great...I ordered several different styles of shoes (Seibel and others) and when they didn't work out, the free returns were wonderful. Thanks Zappos for making my shoe buying a breeze!!

Best Shoe - Very Comfortable - These are the most comfortable shoes. I teach Kindergarten and needed something that I could stand in all day. They are great. I am also 8 months pregnant and these are the only shoes I have worn throughout my whole pregnancy. I don't know what I would have done without them.

Dansko Marcelle - I am very pleased with the speedy delivery, the product quality, and the web site aesthetics are great, I can see every side of the shoe.

I love these shoes! This is my first pair of clogs, so they took just a little getting used to, but I love them! I’m thinking of getting another pair in another color!

Such a favorite - This is an absolutely adorable shoe...I get compliments everytime I wear them! Extremely comfortable, no rubbing, and great support are just a few of the highlights...definitely great and worth the money!

Wonderful!! These shoes are wonderful!! They are very comfortable and I love the color! They give your feet a lot of room to move and breathe.

Love Dansko... Love the look and the style. Look wonderful with jeans or trouser or skirt. As comfortable as the professional, but with different look. I am a pharmacist so I am up on my feet all day for my work. These shoes are great!

Cutie-pa-tootie - I’m a big fan of most Danskos and this shoe is one of my favorites. I have the cordovan Cabrio color and find it very versatile with many colors. I ordered the red as well, but the sizing seems inconsistent on that color. The seams on this particular style rub the outside of my foot a little, but after a few wears, the discomfort diminishes. Danskos make the most comfortable shoe ever! Thank you Zappos for making shopping and returning so simple. I appreciate your policy!

Wonderful shoe - Great shoe. I've had a lot of compliments on them. They are an updated Mary Jane, and work with jeans as well as trousers. Had them on for a week end of sightseeing in New York City and felt great all day!

Feels good!!! It took 3 days to "break these in", but now I swear by them. For the first time in my 10 year pharmacy career, my feet don't kill me after the 12 hour shifts.

Awesome! I ordered these shoes from Zappos on Wednesday night and they arrived on my doorstep on Thursday afternoon. How exciting. I'm impressed with the speediness of Zappos shipping! I LOVE the shoe and got a lot of compliments on them already. My feet didn't hurt AT ALL, even on the first day. I'm impressed with the look and feel of these shoes. They're my fourth pair of Danskos and I'd HIGHLY recommend them.

Cordovan Marcelle - Beautiful shoe- prettier than the picture can show. Super arch support. Fit is comfortable from the start. Strap is able to move due to the "hinge" making it easier to slide into. The Cabrio leather is very low maintenance & keeps its shine & luster. I highly recommend this shoe.

Dansko Marcelle - I am a nurse and nurse practitioner student, and find these shoes perfect for work, school and everyday wear. They did not take very long to "break in" and have a lot of personality!

I highly recommend Zappos.com for any shoes. They communicated with me and the order was received very quickly. I will buy any future pairs of Dansko’s from Zappos.com!

Awesome shoe! I got one pair in black and one in cardovan brown (great color). They are wonderfully comfortable and I wear them casual with jeans or super dressed up, or in the morning in my robe to take the dogs out. These shoes are totally adorable and give an extra 2 inches in height! An all-purpose fabulous shoe! Zappos always rushes delivery and is just a GREAT merchant (I now do most of my shoe shopping at Zaps).

Dansko Marcelle - I have these shoes in 4 colors and the black cabrio and the cordovan are a perfect fit but the brown and red latigo run small but not so small you can go up in size FRUSTRATING!!! but as always Zappos was great about sending me pair after pair till I found one that will work for me also some of the shoes have rough edges and rough stitching but if you give them a chance to stretch a bit you will not feel any of that at all so give them a chance and they will be good they definitely have a break in period

Love the shoes! Previous to this order, I had a pair of Marcelle/Danskos that lasted over three years! I love these shoes, the look, the comfort, etc. I am a nurse and on my feet all day long and my feet are still comfortable after 10+ hours. Love them and the new cordovian color. I get lots of compliments...

Dansko Marcelle, the perfect all around shoe - The Dansko Marcelle is comfortable and it is darling! It is a great every day shoe for work and play. It works with pants and skirts alike. You can dress it up, too. I wear mine every day.

Great shoes - I have 9 pairs of Dansko and the Marcelle is by far the cutest and most comfortable. I even have a severe orthopedic problem. I have 1 leg much shorter than the other and these shoes as hard as the bottoms are still work for me so take it from a Dansko pro get ALL the colors I did :)

Money well spent. I'm a medical student and I've had so much trouble finding shoes that were comfortable enough to wear all day in the hospital without giving me blisters or sending me home with sore knees. Everyone from doctors to nurses to administrators has Danskos and all those people can't be wrong, right? So I bought my first pair -- black Professionals -- just in time to start my clinical years. And now they're the only shoes I wear to work! Unfortunately the Professional isn't all that attractive with skirts, and I'd like to have more than one pair of work shoes, so I ordered the Marcelles in cordovan. The seams and some of the edges in the forefoot will need to be loosened up and softened a bit before I wear them barefoot (I could wear my Professionals barefoot right away) but I have all winter to wear them with socks and soften them up. I'm very pleased with these shoes. The color is really versatile and they fit just like my Professionals (I'm a size 8 and I bought them in a 38). Plus they look cute with skirts as well as my work pants and jeans. I recommend Danskos to all my classmates and anyone else who's looking for comfortable shoes that last.

Best shoes ever! I LOVE Danskos! After 2 years on my feet in crappy converse, I was starting to develop plantar fascitis. I can barely stand without my Danskos now. They have reversed a great deal of my injury just by the support that they give my arch. However, they did take about 2 weeks to fully break in so that they were comfy. But, after that, I have walked and stood in these shoes for hours and hours and my feet are relatively pain free.

Best shoes ever! I was a little hesitant at first to purchase a pair of Dansko’s but I am very glad that I did! These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and are very much worth the cost! I am now forever a Dansko fan.

Wonderful Shoe - This is a very comfortable shoe that goes nicely with jeans. The strap is adjustable, so I was able to tighten it up a bit to get the perfect fit. (I usually wear a 7.5, and a 38 in Dansko.) I would recommend these shoes to anyone!
