Nice shoe - I run between 30-40 miles a week and these shoes are comfortable, but I don't feel a lot of support. I normally wear a 7.5 narrow shoe and with these shoes the 7.5 is too small and the 8, which I purchased, is too big. Go figure. But they're a nice pair of shoes for shorter distances. I haven't run more 6 miles at once with these. I wear a different shoe for my longer runs.

Great sneaker. I run 5 days a week. I am light at 90lbs but with bad knees. These shoes offer support, cushion, and stability. Been using the Asics GT series for over 15 years. If you wear orthotics you need 1 size up. Suggestion for improvement: make them lighter.

I had purchased this same product in black and really liked the shoe; thus, I looked forward to getting this color (python) because it was so different. I am going to get darker laces to make the unique design stand out more. As far as comfort, this shoe, even though the same size as ordered before, was a little too big, especially in the heel area. I kept them but wished I had gotten a smaller size. Additionally, I need a little more support when power walking. I have purchased ASICS before and had no problem with the support. Maybe this style is a little less reinforcing to my feet, which have a somewhat flat arch. Again, I really like the black ones for gym work. I haven't walked in them yet.

Nice fit and look - I have two pairs of the Asics GT-2130, one pair is white with "Python" accents and one pair is black. They look nice and feel great.

Good shoes - Shoe lasts about 3 months with continuous wear (for every day, not just exercises, usually on feet most of the day). Has decent arch support, good circulation so feet don't over heat, and wide is wide enough for my feet. Shoe sizing is like that of other athletic shoes, order a half size larger than you'd wear for flat casual shoes. During rains you'll probably want a different shoe since the exterior has a lot of mesh venting.

I have purchased many Asics. I find there is a difference between the cheaper models and the 90 plus ones. It's worth the extra money for the comfort and fit.

Love the Asics GT-2130 - These shoes are comfy, lightweight, attractive, stylish, offer arch support, and high level of cushioning. This is my 3rd consecutive pair of Asics gels. I'm active- walking (both outdoors and treadmill) about 8-10 miles a week as well as spending about 4-5 hours a week in aerobic gym classes - and these shoes are the best I've found.

Felt great on a 4-mi treadmill run right out of the box. I previously had the GT-2120 so decided to try the next generation. I am very happy and will continue to buy Asics for running. I am flat-footed and tend to be an underpronator. Both pairs of Asics that I've had give me excellent support and superior comfort. I have the black/pink 2130s and they look great!

Perfect running shoe! After a trial run with a few different running shoes, I finally tried these for my complicated foot! The stability in the shoe helps my overpronation and the toe box accommodates my broad FOREFOOT. I do run into a few problems in this shoe with my narrow heel and high arch, but that was easily fixed with lacing and insoles! Love them and can't wait to see the next model!

I like this shoe for working out, but I prefer my other pair of ASICS (1120). This pair seems a little big for a size 9 in comparison to my other pair. Overall a good shoe, but I will buy the 1120 again for my next pair.

Great Shoe! This is a very comfortable shoe with good arch support. The only negative is that for runners who like to wear very low socks this shoe might rub towards the back of the ankle.

My third pair of ASICS - I love these. These run pretty true to size. I actually like the "bling" -- and not as bright as some have noted. And Zappos’ service can't be beat.

First pair of ASICS - This is my first pair of ASICS. I wear 11A, it’s impossible to find that size anywhere except Zappos. I used to wear New Balance. These are so much more comfortable. I teach fitness classes and these are great! No break-in time needed.

They were much narrower than most shoes I bought. I got wides (D) and still couldn\'t even get my foot in the shoe.

Great Looking, Light Weight...But... I had to return these for the wider size. I have a neuroma between two toes on my left foot, and the toe box was just too tight. I really liked the weight of these shoes, and I hope the wider size will be a good fit!!

The shoes are beautiful, but not nearly enough arch support or stability for my feet. The shoes allow my feet to slip forward, pushing my great toe into the end of the shoe. If I had not already worn them 5 or 6 times I would send them back. Guess I will just give them away.

Pretty good - I have a very small wide foot. This shoe was the only one out of the twelve I tried that was wide enough for my foot. However, it's still a bit too big in the toe area. But I don't really notice it when I'm running so overall I'd say it's a good shoe. I just wish they would make them in a size 4, and then it would be the perfect shoe.

No arch support - I have high arches and like arch support in running shoes - these shoes felt completely flat compared to the 2120. They did have a lot of cushion like the 2120, however.

Where is the support? I have been an Asics junkie for years now, but this shoe was not up to par. The arch support was negligible. The right shoe was bumpy in the toe box, and they are way flashier than I expected. Luckily, Zappos has an amazing return policy so I can try again.

I have problems with over-pronation. This running shoe exacerbated the problem. Not enough arch support. I ran in them for about 4 months, developed more severe pronation and knee problems. Took out the liners and inserted my orthotics. Still had problems with fit and comfort although I was 1/2 size up. Not the best Asics shoe I've run in.

Ouch - These shoes are not comfortable at all. First, they don't breath at all and they are narrow, so the sides of my feet get sore. I'm disappointed.

Wish I did not purchase it - The shoe is very uncomfortable. Tight in the middle, and very loose up front no matter how I try to tie it or adjust it. It is the most uncomfortable shoe. I have only worn it twice so far and got blisters both times, especially on the bottom of my foot where I never had one before. So I did a 20k in some serious heat and pain. Everyone I know who has the Asics gave it great reviews, which is what sold me on the shoe. But now I just regret it and stuck with a shoe I can't wear.

GREAT SHOE, just not for me - I've been wearing Asics exclusively for almost 30 years of running. There has been only one period of off time, and that was when I first started in the 70s and got shin splints. Every time I find the just-right shoe, they change, "upgrade" the model. That's been a gripe for me! Bought 2 pairs of these (I rotate shoes so as to never run same pair 2x in a row). I felt problems w/ the first run, so held off using 2nd pair. Glad I did. Am returning. They give me shin splints, like 30 years ago. Perhaps I should have paid more attention to the pronation/correction part. If you are not a pronator, if you are prone to shin splints, I'd warn you off. These shoes are getting too costly to have a wasted pair!
